Phenomenal beer with a really cool atmosphere. The food is pretty good too. Highly recommend to grab a beer with some friends.

Absolute wonderful addition to the area. I’ve been going to CBC since one month after they opened. Excellent beer, delicious food, and good prices for what you’re getting. The outdoor space is great! It’s nice to have an area where you can drink and eat outside. This establishment is also very family-friendly. Usually have easy-going acoustic singers and the occasional band for a great evening. It’s not too loud either. You can always hear the person next to you. Best hang-out around!

Great venue, great waitstaff, great beer — slow kitchen.(Took almost half an hour for the food to come out.) The burger was good and the tomato soup was killer.

Very slow at getting your food out. Reubens looked and tasted like they came from Arby’s, and fries looked and tasted like chic-fil-a waffle fries. As long as it took them to get the food, it seemed like they went elsewhere to pick it up and then doubled the price.

Stay away… slow, slow, slow…1st time we came here they had two other tables and took 45 mins for two burgers. Went back tonight to half full place and long wait as kitchen was backed up and they won’t even seat you to relax and have drinks while you wait… food wasn’t that great to wait…

Stopped by last night for beer and dinner. The building is super cool but way too bright– dimmers are in order. The beer list was long but NOIPA’s!?! Not sure how this happens in a micro-brewery. Maybe limited access to hops? Regardless, the pale ale was decent. Food was decent. Service was good. Nothing that would make us come back.

Had lunch there after Church yesterday. It was a group of 10 and our Server was attentive and Johnny on the spot. The food was great too. I will be back!

I came here with a large group of girls that I work with. We were here working the Talladega Race & were desperate for somewhere fun & cool to go to. All the us were satisfied with our meals and the drinks we ordered. I’m not a beer drinker, so I ordered the Meade, which was an interesting alternative to my usual red wine. There weren’t a lot of other customers in there when we went but still thought it was a cool, trendy place to visit. We really liked the exterior & seeing how it used to be an old train station.

Was hoping to get a good beer and decent food. No such luck. Tasted 3 sample beers. All were flat. Tried the Vanilla Porter. It came flat and I asked it to be served with a good head. Nope. Flat. It had potential, but it was just dead. Ordered the grass fed rib eye steak medium rare. Came out rare. No flavor which can be the case with grass fed so I asked for horseradish. No such luck. Then the asparagus was over cooked probably because it was half the size of a pencil. The Caesar salad came with the dressing on the side. It was so thick I couldn’t toss it unto the salad. I’m not going to chance dessert after all this. It’s a shame because it’s a great building gone to waste.

Considering this area in Alabama is not very busy this brewery adds liveliness to the area. The food is awesome I got the ribeye and are every last bite. The beer is seasonal and delicious.

I go for the beer, which is good for the area. They typically have around a dozen house brewed ales and a few guest brews… mostly Alabama brewed. I have been a few times and stopped getting food after of a couple bad experiences. They try to present their food at a level which they are not prepared to deliver.

Excellent staff. Friendly and very well trained. Extra attention to customers. Food is top notch. This is not the cheapest of places(nor should it be). A great place to take a date, take a client or just a night out. Generally has live music a couple nights a week.

My nachos took 30 minutes, the manager states«because they make everything to order. My question is how long does it take to get a steak? The band was great, and a beautiful place to hang.

Wow! Who expected such a treasure tucked away in a beautiful little southern town. Tastefully decorated. Friendly, outgoing & knowledgeable staff. Our server Elise was so helpful. The beer menu is full off so many delicious choices I could not decide, so she skillfully talked me through choosing 5 for«The Filght», nice size sample glasses. Upon delivering it to the table she went through explaining each beer, left to right so I could pick a favorite. The menu has something for everyone! Moderately priced upscale pub cuisine. Live entertainment, friendly knowledgeable staff, great food, amazing beer, full bar, great wine list… a must visit for locals or tourists! I will definetely be a regular!

Stopped here for dinner on a hot Alabama day. This converted Railway Station is pretty cool inside. I started with the pimento cheese appetizer, which was really good but could have used some more peppers. But it was homemade, so I cut them some slack. My shrimp and grits was awesome, different from the norm in a good way. It had green beans and roasted cherry tomatoes in addition to the shrimp and Parmesan, plus a great broth on it. Definitely a good recommendation from my server, who was very attentive and always made sure I had a full drink without being intrusive. This is a really cool place a little off the beaten path in downtown Anniston. Definitely worth a visit!

I’m going to start off by saying I am a «Beer geek» so keep that in mind with this review. Lets start with the beer. The locally brewed beer here is average nothing really stands out at all. With a 90 gallon brewhouse you have the option to really make some incredible beers but they aren’t utilizing that. Also brewing on such a small setup you could really get into brewing up some experimental«one off» batches to keep the local beer geeks interested but again they aren’t doing that. I’m glad they have guest taps. The food is overpriced but pretty good. The steak was very disappointing @ $ 22 it was a 4 – 5 oz thin cut new york strip that left you hungry when leaving. The burgers are good but then again it’s hard to drop $ 16-$ 18 dollars on a burger but that’s just me. They are obviously doing something right because the place stays busy and that’s good to see any local business do well. Maybe at some point they will branch out of that comfort zone and start to «tweak» those beer recipes or maybe do some experimental casks ale. Cheers !

Came here for lunch on a Monday while I was passing through town. I went with the special of the day which was a Salmon Salad Wrap. It was very light and the touch of mayo made it very tasty. The service was nice, but I really loved the space. The openness of the building and all the bare wood with the natural light makes it desirable to want to come back.

The best burger I have ever had. Service was even better than the burger!!! Atmosphere was rustic and nice. I had an old fashioned, so reasonably priced. Others had beer. Said it was really tasty!!! What a great place!

I can’t speak to the wait to seat because I was running late along with co-worker I was riding with. Since we had called ahead and they seemed to be ready for our group I imagine there was no wait. Very light lunch crowd but maybe attributed to location and mid week. Atmosphere was a bug plus. Background music very good and not too loud and not too quiet. Waited a little longer than expected to order after the last of us arrived, especially considering light crowd overall. Reasonable amount of time to wait for food for party of 11. I had the blackened catfish Po Boy with a Caesar salad. Fish was seasoned well and tasted very good. It is a little off the beaten path but would definitely go back if in the area. Would especially like to see what it is like at night and on the weekend.

Lively crowd on a Thursday night. It’s located in an older part of town near the old rail yards. I had the burger with a side of Mac and cheese. Very tasty. Beer selection wasn’t the greatest. Nice patio area out back for cool night time dining. Service was very friendly, but my friend had to wait about 15 minutes for his dessert to arrive.
