I stopped in this morning to get a few donuts for the work crowd. I am eating the cinnamon sugar donut as I write this and it’s EXCELLENT. This is a real donut!!! Slightly chewy on the outside crust and perfectly cakey in the center with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar on the outside. I wish I could eat these every day.

Absolutely the only bakery I will use moving forward. Picked up a bridal shower cake and had the wind rip it out if my hands and smash onto the cement. Within an hour Eddys had the same exact cake ready for us. Unbelievable service, not to mention the cake was to die for! THANK YOU!

I needed to get a few boxes of donuts and cupcakes for my clients.
Love this place!
They have an excellent variety of donuts, danishes, cupcakes and pastries.
Staff is beyond helpful and friendly!
Best bakery with the largest variety I have found in the valley area!

Eddys Bakery did my wedding this past weekend and what an amazing job they did.
the cupcakes they designed were unbelievable and absolutely delicious.
They came to my home and set the whole display of desserts up beautifully.
I received numerous compliments on them.
I cant thank you enough for such an amazing job.

Very good bakery. Excellent seeded rye bread, good salt donut, very good donuts. Very happy to find a place that makes good donuts in the Naugatuck Valley. I will definitely be back. Although I do prefer the bagels at Royal Bakery in Shelton.

Fantastic! We are fairly new residences of Ansonia. So far it blows by any of the bakery’s in milford and orangeI. have ordered 3 cakes from them in the past. All on short notice. last week I called and they made a carrot cake the day of! So we decided to try other baked goods. I can say that the Cupcakes are yummy too nice and moist. We ordered bagels for a party and they were soooo delicious! Nice and fresh totally our new bakery spot for our family :) we spread the news to our family and friends.:)

I never expected such a great place like this in the valley! Been ordering my cake from New York and spent too much money! But thanks to Villa Bianca’s (wedding banquet) owner, Tonino Mavuli, who recommended Eddy’s Bakeshop! I have been ordering cakes and pastries from them for 2 years now. The cake designs are amazingly gorgeous and delicious! Pastries are just exceptionally fresh and yummy! Staff are warm and friendly. Can’t wait to order my next cake!

Ordered custom items numerous times from this bakery. Great work and very friendly. Sadly the only complaint is that they shorted me a half dozen muffins when I pre-​ordered treats for my sons birthday.

Yummy baked good!!! Not a large selection, looks kinda of dusty. Apple turnovers are huge! Biggest disappointment is that they accept ebt. I honestly do not understand the reasoning but I hope there are restrictions on the use of the card.

My go-​to bakery
Used multiple times for special events, birthdays, graduation, weddings, etc. Cakes are fantastic, pastry is fantastic… everything is fantastic.
Super busy around the holidays, sometimes with lines out the door. Completely worth it though.
I actually send their rye bread to relatives around the country. They complain they can’t find bread as good as theirs anywhere!

I love Eddy’s! Everything I’ve gotten there has been wonderful. They have fantastic eclairs and cannolis. I ordered cupcakes for a birthday party and they were made exactly as I asked. I agree with other posters that have said Eddy’s lacks atmosphere. I think if they added colorful umbrellas to their outdoor seating and some larger potted plants/​flowers it would go a long way. Regardless of atmosphere the pastries & cakes are delicious and I’ll continue to go there.

Every Sunday — if we were good we would get chocolate covered donuts. The sisters and I would choose said donut by either licking it or putting our thumb print in it! They still make these delish donuts as well as other assorted pastries and breads.
I picked up some cupcakes with yummy chocolate frosting and fall decorations. A true bargain at 75 cents each! An Ansonia institution!

Awesome. Need more info? I had a German chocolate cake that was so good it almost made me weep. I’ve also had their rye bread which was beyond doubt the best that I’ve ever had, bar none.
This is an old-​school bakery, you don’t get a lot of atmosphere but you get fantastic basked goods anf they’re super cheap to boot. Don’t even hesitate to go here!

Great local bakery. They don’t offer a large variety of breads, but the have plenty and what they do offer is fantastic and fresh; and if you are not satisfied with the freshness, just bring it to their attention and they are more than happy to make it on the spot, refund or offer you greatly reduced fees. The best rye bread and cupcakes around. Their prices are unbelievably fair!

Oh the utter deliciousness that comes from this place. I grew up on their goodies– jelly donuts, Boston crème, glazed, with breakfast on Sunday mornings. Coffee cakes, and even special occasion (birthday, graduation, etc.) cakes. So yummy. Oh the cannolis. Breads– wonderfulness. Rye, Italian, French, and dinner rolls like you’ve never eaten before. I tell you, buy a dozen and you can eat them in one sitting, they are SO good. Oh my God… And they make my most favorite pastry ever– metropolitans. The staff, polite, helpful, and friendly. I think they are cash only as well. They make the best bakery goods here.
