Inspired Style Salon

I called this salon to make an appointment to have my hair done for my wedding. I made the appointment and then was told over the phone that I would have to come in to give a $ 50 non refundable deposit. I asked if I can do that over the phone and she said no I would have to come in. I had forgotten to pay my deposit but someone had called a few nights before to confirm my appointment for that Saturday so I was all set. The receptionist that was there that Saturday was very blah and no personality. Not very welcoming. All the girls in the salon are very up beat and friendly. Paige did my hair and it was wonderful. When I went to pay for my services I asked if I can put the tip on my card. She said «we don’t do that but this time I guess I can.» Having this be the first time I was here, I wasn’t very impressed. It’s funny how one person can ruin it for everyone else.

I am from out of town but here for Thanksgiving. I wanted to find a place where I could get a good wash and blow dry because I had an event at night. Someone recommended Inspired Style Salon to me, so I booked an appointment.
My stylist, Emily, could not have been more friendly. Sometimes I go to salons, and if I don’t know the stylist, it can be awkward, but I felt very comfortable here.
She gave me a great blowout. I’m from Boston, and we have a couple of blowout-​only salons (Drybar and Blo) that I would visit occasionally. She did a much better job than what I’ve gotten at more high end places.

Great prices, great hours, and Annalise is awesome! I recently started going to her back in March. I was looking to go short for the first time ever, and I needed a place on a Monday. She has been cutting my hair since and it turns out I like having short hair! She’s friendly and gentle and has been doing hair a long time and it shows in her technique and professionalism. You’ll be glad you went to her! Also, she did my hair recently for a wedding and I got soooo many compliments.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon! I came here for special event makeup one year, and hair the next, and both were beyond perfect; exactly what I wanted! They were so much fun and did exactly what I wanted it to look like! Would recommend it to anyone, special event or everyday!

This little gem is tucked away in the Ansonia Stop and Shop plaza. By the outside you wouldn’t think much of it, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised once inside the salon. I went to Nicole for a hair color change, cut, and blow dry. She did a fabulous job! She patiently talked me through everything and helped me choose a color that was right for me. She loves what she does and it shows through her work. I walked out of there with a huge smile on my face, feeling happy and confident about my new look. I’ve received many compliments as well!
The staff is very cheerful, professional and attentive. I was asked several times if I needed anything while waiting for my color to set. There is just a delightful «vibe» when you’re in there. The prices are very reasonable as well. I’ve found my new go to hair salon!
