Great taste. Great price. We were in Derby and wanted to pick up something quick for dinner. We saw«$ 5 pizza» was up the road, so we thought we’d take a chance. It was a non-descript hole in the wall sharing a building with a Chinese takeout. $ 5 gets a 12″ pie — a generous«personal» size — so we ordered chicken parmigiana to feed 4 people. I like my tomato sauce sweet, and this was spot on.(I don’t expect the same soft, bready crust as the 18″ pies I grew up on in the Bronx — next time I’ll order the larger size, and ask that it be cooked less. I understand from other reviews they use a brick oven, so the option may be limited.) The chicken parm was a generous piece of breast meat, breaded, and in a sauce full of fresh tomatoes, served with spagnetti and some sort of flatbread. They don’t deliver to Milford, but 7 miles /15 minutes isn’t too far to get more of this especially if we’re going to be anywhere near Ansonia.
