Pelins Pizza

Decided to try a new place for pizza. Got the steak bomb pizza and a bacon onion pizza. The crust was ok a little doughy and chewy. Lots of cheese on the pizza. Not the best, but far from the worst. Ordered fried dough, just because it was on the menu, and a large tossed that was pretty standard. All in all I think I would try them again, maybe check out the grinders next time.

We tried pelins last week and it was just okay. The pizza we got was decent, no complaints but no compliments. I ordered the calamari and for all you calamari lovers, it just was not very good at all. Heavily breaded and possibly straight from a bag because they were all exactly the same shape and size. Anyone who eats calamari knows that the shapes range in size and tentacle. These looked liked calamari fruit loops (wish I had taken a picture). We also got wings which were a little dry but still edible. I don’t really want to pay for takeout that’s just «edible.» Its unfortunate because I wanted to like this place because the prices were decent. Still looking for a good pizza place. I won’t be back.

This is like the forth food spot at this location in four years. But this place should stick around! The pizza is amazing! Calzons are delicious! Prices are good. I go at least once a week. They make one of the best pies in Ansonia. I tried them all!

The first time we ordered we got eggplant grinders and buffalo wings, which were really good. They put plenty of sauce and cheese on the grinders! The second time we ordered a pizza and fried dough. The pizza was very blan and literally had no sauce. It was burnt on the bottom and the crust was rock hard. The fried dough was too thick and not thin and crispy. I was not impressed this time. I may give them another shot though because their grinders and wings are good!

Not only did our food get here early, but The delivery guy got a little lost on the way and the food was still hot and amazing! Definitely recommend. Our delivery guy was very nice. Just really good, new favorite spot!

They delivered fast! I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, a crispy chicken salad, a hot sausage grinder, a garden salad, and a slice of carrot cake. The food was hot when it arrived, my order was correct, the delivery guy was nice, and it tasted great! I will order from them again. If I could change anything, the crispy chicken salad would be improved if they chopped up a fried chicken finger, it was those thin cutlet style pieces of chicken that aren’t really crunchy just coated. The burger I believe was steamed and juicy, the taste of the fries was spot on and they were cooked good, lastly, the carrot cake was delicious, cream cheese frosting! My friend said her salad and grinder were really good too. There aren’t a lot of choices for delivery in Ansonia and I’m glad I gave them a try. I look forward to exploring their menu more and will add comments as I go. Enjoy!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good my buffallo chicken grinder was. The guy on the phone was very polite, and i recieved my food quickly. All in all try this place out the food is superb
