Plenty of parking and not crowd. Had to return items a few times it was hassle free. Items are decently stocked up so no complains there.

You know about free association? That is where one says the first thing that comes to mind(and one does not inhibit) when thinking about something. Here is mine for this Target in Ansonia: Maze, bridges, crazy light, and skateboarding punks. Let me explain. First, finding this place requires making like a ‘C’ shape when navigating. This isn’t a big deal crossing bridges and taking 7 right turns after you’ve done it a couple times. Next, after the tilt a whirl driving and parking, you have to pass by something very odd upon entering the store. Out of the 7 times I have been here, I kid thee not, there is some sort of BMX-ing and skateboarding homeless kids hanging out ALLTHETIME to the right of the door. I still cannot figure this out. I thought it was an anomaly but I was wrong. They aren’t begging, they aren’t the same ones every time, and they always have some music playing. It’s incredible. I wonder what the police complaints for this area would reveal… Anyway, the last nail in the coffin is the one exit, yes one way out, of the parking lot into the street. The light… NEVER…changes from red to green. Seriously, the wait is about 4 – 5 minutes. I wanna say that i run it but that would be admitting something I wouldn’t admit.

Ansonia is an old mill town much like the small old mill town in Maine where I was born and spent all of my childhood. Not surprisingly, the customers and the employees are reminiscent of the people from my hometown. I think I saw two mohawks(on employees no less), a few pairs of highwater pants with crocs, and some other interesting sights. The store was very quiet when we got here around dinner time. We had come straight from the North Haven Target that was completely mobbed. We went to the other Target first in search of a digital camera as mine recently decided to stop working. The North Haven Target was completely out of the digital camera I wanted and sent us to this Ansonia one after checking to see if they had it. Once we arrived at the electronics counter at this Target not a single employee was in sight. Not even a customer. We waited for several long minutes for someone to show up and finally several customers came by and also needed assistance, but still no employee. I literally got behind the counter to see if that would expedite the process of having an employee come over. Nothing. I fantasized for a moment about finding the key myself and searching through the drawers for the camera I wanted. Finally, someone showed up. He had the camera but when asked about the return policy he admitted that he did not know the return policy and directed me towards some reading material that explained it, pointing vaguely to the left unenthusiastically. If this is his job and this is his department, shouldn’t he be well versed enough in the return policy to explain it to a customer? Can’t be that hard. The other Target we went to today was very busy but the customer service there was a thousand times better. Best of luck to you if this the the closest Target and you need any assistance in the electronics department.

One of the better Targets in the area. It is well-stocked and organized; they usually have what I am looking for, and it is easy to find stuff.

What can I say? It’s Target! ;-) If you know Target, you know what they sell and how they present it. Stores are standardized in layout and selection. That being said, this is one of the best-run Targets I have visited, both cleaner and better-stocked than other nearby stores in Trumbull. The staff does not turn over quickly, and quickly get to know the«regulars». They care about the store, and it shows. It has an extremely large and well-arranged parking lot, where the carts are regularly cleared. The only downside, compared to other nearby Targets, is fewer clearance items overall. This is likely due to a slightly smaller clientele, which means things don’t turn over as quickly, and thus there are fewer overruns. Highly recommended.
