I was very sorry to see them closed down so soon. They really had wonderful wings and the fish selections were awesome. For the price yes you’re going to pay for good fish but if you would go to any other restaurant you would probably pay more. To be able to get wings and fish at $ 10 is a great deal. Wing stop who was there before them charge just about $ 10 and all you got was chicken. Did not get one star for them always being out of tartar sauce. Now I realize it’s probably they didn’t order because they need they were shutting down.

Good catfish and wings are good. customer service could be better. The owner is great but then again it is his business. I have called to place my order several times and it just rings no one anwers.

Drove by again yesterday while going to Rite Aid and there is a door on the sign indicating that they have gone out of business. Hopefully this means Wing Stop will come back.

I have been here twice. Both times, the wings were dry and didn’t taste fresh. The hot wing sauce is just ok. On top of it, the second time we walked in, there were no other customers. The floor was a sticky mess and tables weren’t clean. It’s not as if they were too busy to take care of the dining area. I’ll drive the distance to Buffalo Wings on Sunrise rather than to come here again.

You can try it for yourself but I don’t need to go back. I hadn’t eaten in about 12 hours and had been to costco so was starving. I wanted to try everything and Jeremy being the good sport he is and wanting to accommodate me, we ordered the 25 piece wing which came with fries, one side, we got potato salad as our side, it was $ 24.99, not cheap. We also go a 5 piece chicken tender, I think that was around $ 6. We were told it would be a 16 minute wait. The men’s bathroom was not working, that’s weird, only two men work there. Guess they use the ladies room. I didn’t pee, just washed my hands. The food took a bit longer, in the meantime, I watched a lot of customers come in and pick up to go orders and people sat down and ate. The atmosphere is fine if you like a cool place, I was freezing and baseball, that was on the tiny tv near the ceiling. The fries were plentiful but tasted a bit fishy. The wings were dry and the seasoning put on them a bit salty. The chicken tenders were tasty with the garlic parmesan seasoning but it was salty. I wish the owner good luck he seems like a real nice guy.

Got the boneless medium buffalo and bayou, more flavor on the bayou. Not as pleased maybe next time I wilp get bone in and might be more flavor and mpre sauce. The medium buffalo had no flavor and no sauce.

food is great, but the price is VERY high. these aren’t cheap wings by any means, but for one hungry person, you are going to pay over $ 10 easily. 6 wing combo is under $ 10, but who eats just 6 wings? also, they have a website up with their menu, flavors, etc.

These guys are the nicest and such yummy wings! They mix and match if I want more than 1 flavor in my combo.

We had a hankering for wings a couple of weeks ago, so I looked on my trusted Unilocal for the number of our favorite Wingstop, only to see that it shockingly closed! Another wing establishment took it’s place and the reviews were pretty good, so I figured why not give it a try? Glad I did! The boneless strips were yummy, cooked perfectly and the fries and potato salad were really good! The sauces were great, too! I think they are better than the prior wing shop!

This location is the former Wing Stop located in the Rite Aid shopping center on the corner of Walerga and Elverta. The cool factor about this place is they have five different fish choices on the menu, plus wings and tenders. There were only two of the five fish choices in stock on this occasion so we tried an interesting Fish and Wing Combo. For $ 15.99 you get three large pieces of fish 10 wings, fries and a drink! That is pretty awesome considering the average price of a one piece fish and chip is normally about $ 7.99. We tried the orange roughy, lemon pepper wings and memphis rub wings. We also ordered a five piece chicken tender along with another drink. Unfortunately the person who took our order failed to point out that the Chicken Tender Combo which included fries as well only cost .01 cent more. Bad customer service or lack of menu knowledge. The fish fillets were good sized, the wings were very scrawny looking, the tenders were smallish but the fries were plentiful. Unfortunately EVERYTHING tasted like the lid to the salt shaker fell off. We pretty much all felt sick after eating this food which is a total shame as I felt the fish and wing combo was a very appealing idea. I hope the owner reads this review and does something about the salt :)

I saw that Wing Stop had closed and was shocked. I didn’t go there very often, in part because the service left a little bit to be desired, but I don’t like to see things close down in Antelope. Luckily, Maad Wingz quickly took its place. The first thing I noticed is that the staff here are friendlier than the Wing Stop staff was. The menu is different that Wing Stop’s, so we needed a few moments to look it over and figure out what we wanted. One great addition to the menu is the fried fish(several choices)! Also, the meals are different than Wing Stop’s. At Wing Stop, if you asked what they recommended, you might get a «whatever you like» or something to that effect. Here, they very politely explained the menu’s offerings. That alone would make me want to come back. While waiting for the food(it is a long wait — but I prefer to know my food is fresh), they provide you with your soft drinks(if you ordered them) and are more than happy to refill them while you wait. We took our order to go, and with just a short drive home, the food was still piping hot when we got home. The chicken wings were really good, about what you’d expect from a place that specializes in chicken wings and the fish was really good. I was even generous and gave a small piece to my cats and they gave it two paws up. The fries were really good. They reminded me of the kind my parents used to make when they would make«fish ‘n chips.» This is definitely a place I would like to see succeed, so I will be back when I get a hankering for wings and fish again.

This place reminds me of a cross between JJ’s Fish & Chicken, minus the delinquent crowds, and Wing Stop, without the yeast rolls and stoners. They have catfish, snapper, cod, and orange roughly on the menu. These are stand alones or you can get them in a wing combo. They have about 8 wing seasonings. They’ve also started carrying cakes from Spirit of Jazz, a local biz. This is where Wing Stop used to be in Antelope, so its not out of the way for anyone that used to come here for wings. With the additions to the menu, I’ll probably find myself mire often than I should.

Service was awesome! Wings didn’t quite sit well with me though. Not sure if I was just having an off day or something. I’ll be giving them another shot because I have been here before and was very satisfied.

You want bang for your buck, check out MAADWINGZ. Had the Orange Roughy meal, fries were hella bomb and the fish was well seasoned and flakey, only complaint was that there was no tarter sauce until half way done with meal, other then that great stuff

WINGS, FRIES, and the FISH are SUPERB! Kinda like Wing Stop but BETTER. Wish the service was a little more friendly/inviting but all in all. This place is a must go to if you live in the area. I feel it’s better than other spots because of the fish.

Yummy food! I think that the selection is great and food is seasoned well. It’s pretty clean and the people are the same from when it was Wing Stop. I ordered and the food is cooked well and quickly. My only qualm about this place is that they cook fish and meat in the same oil. Some may be allergic, like myself, and it can be severe. Other than that it’s pretty good!

Just stopped in here with my daughter for a quick bite. I’m a big wing fanatic so I have to try all wing joints at least once. We ordered the Lemon Pepper, Hot Buffalo, and Bar-b-que flavors. They were all quite good and the food was ready fast. I will be going back to try more flavors soon. Thanks guys.

Boy o boy, i do love me some chicken wings. When i saw wing stop was closing down, i almost had a panic attack. Then, i realized they were building a new wing shop and all was okay again. I went here the second day it was open, and never looked back. I was scared it wouldn’t live up to the deliciousness of the original Wing Stop there, but it was just as great. The employees are super friendly and work fast, and i love how you can call ahead and order before you come.
