I had to just moved to Sacramento County. At the time Mapquest was popular and iphones and smartphones were growing popularity. I was in this Metro corporate store and I didn’t have a smartphone and I was having problems accessing Mapquest at the time. I asked the Metro employees for direction to a location and they were very helpful. Every time I go in to pay my bill(by check and money order) at this store they are always friendly.

My mother is set up with Metro PCS. Thank goodness I don’t have to use Metro, especially at this store. Metro needs to get with the times and should be able have choices on how to make a payment without being charged. I was told you have to make a payment by check and it has to put in the drop box in order to make a payment without being charged. Yet they have about 6 people working there standing around??? Metro is a joke. I get it’s cheap but with the amount of customers they have who are they can afford to offer good customer service. Just because people are consider low income doesn’t mean that they don’t matter. These are the people who are keeping Metro PCS in business. To sum it up what a Joke!!!

Lets be honest– I use Metro cause they are the cheapest service around. Are they the best? Hell no but Im poor! The guy and his wife who work this store are always friendly. Super fast service too. Theres a Metro store right by my house but I by-pass that one just to stop in here. Iv’e bought a used phone from them for $ 90 and they bought it back from me a year later for $ 50. SCORE! Not all Metro stores have good customer service but this one is GREAT!

I have been dropping of my payments for the past two years without any hassals until yesterday. I dropped off payment as usual two days ago, that same day some chick left me a voicemail msg(no name or phone number to call her back) informing me that I could call or come back in to provide my driver license number in order for her to process my payment. I tried 3 times to speak to a person at the phone number on my phone to only be in phone tree hell!!! then I tried the phone number that is listed in the phone book to be directed t the same phone hell as the other number. Since my time is valuable and the lives I save daily a nurse depend on me to be timely, I decided to go back to the store on Elverta road on my lunch break which by the way will take up my entire break round trip. When I got there, I informed the employee(no name badge) that I rec’d the call etc etc and wonder why aft 2 yrs the policy changed. His abrupt response«I’ve been here 6 yrs and its been posted all this time for you to include license number». He asked why didn’t I call. REALLY!!! He then got up to do what I thought was get my check; but he felt compelled to hold me up by looking up the fact that I added another line to my plan and that any payment over $ 50 requires DL number. REALLY? again, my bill has always been over $ 50 and this was first I’m hearing about this. I asked if my check was still here because I am taking my lunch time to do this — his response«there’s a togo’s next door» and not in a helping tone. I had to pray to God to hold my tongue. I just hope he’s never a patient of mine, then again I would, so can kill him with kindness so he will know what customer service is. Now I know why metro is called ghettro!

I have to say that I HATE Metro! I know hate is a strong word but they are horrible… customer service over the phone that is. I have sprint however I refuse to pay a kazillion dollars for my children to have sprint so the best thing would be is to put them on Metro. I have to say this is the ONLY Metro store that I have had a good exp with. I am not sure of her name but there is this Russian chick that works at this store and she is AWESOME! She knows her stuff and whenever I go in here if she isn’t working I will leave and come back when she is. She is quick and friendly and I give HER2 thumbs up! Give that girl a raise!
