Ophelia’s Nail’s & Day Spa

Hands down the worst nail shop experience EVER. I went in for a simple fill that was not done right. I decided to let it go anyways but then my nail broke right in half! Called the shop to see if the would fix it and she said yes. Okay, so I went in to get it fixed. But when I told the man it broke my real nail to he just agreed and continued to glue what I had left on my natural nail. I thanked him anyways again.
Sure enough the day after I got the nail fixed it broke AGAIN! So I went in and told them I wanted everything fixed. Then they instead talked crap about me the WHOLE TIME I sat in the shop. The lady who was fixing my nail this time was rude, rough and messed the shape up completely. It was shorter and skinnier then my others.
Needles to say I will never ever go back to this shop. I have been having my nails done for 3years plus and never had so many problems. And I’m a reasonable person but this place was a total waste of my time, energy, and of course money. Should change the name to trash nails.

The inside of the place is very pretty and big. There’s massage/​pedicure chairs on the side and in the middle are tables for manicures. I think it’s more fancy than other nail salons!
Me and my friend entered and were welcomed right away. We had a reservation for two but it wasn’t very busy. We chose our colors and were started on right away. I got a gel manicure with a design on the ring finger. It cost $ 25 which isn’t bad. My friend got the gel manicure and a pedicure for $ 50. I really liked the work that was done! I don’t get my nails done very often but when I do I love looking at my nails! Lol they did a good job!
The workers were very nice! Talked to me while they did my nails. Offered to let me sit on the massage chair while my friend got her pedicure. Awesome! Haha
I would definitely come back to this place and I recommend coming here!

They were awesome ! I got off work and went straight there. The lady doing my full set was kind and very nice. I am definitely coming back.

I used to come here frequently and loved the service. Last time I came here I received awful service, but it was a rainy day and thought it looks slow. I will see if I can get a gel manicure. When I walked in no one was getting pedicures. Score. Only the lady who asked how she could help me was rude and acted like i was interrupting her.
It really just got worse from there. They were unprofessional. They barely rubbed my feet. Honestly its the worst gel manicure I have ever had. 2 days later and its chipped, uneven, and you can see my nail all the way around. i will never go here again.

So disappointing. I don’t understand why the reviews are so great for this place since my service was below basic standard. My mom and I came here for pedicures. With an 11:15 apt, we got started 20 minutes later on a slow Thursday late morning. We ended up choosing the paradise pedicure, which was already overpriced, but we wanted a little more luxury. We pretty much paid for overuse of product to be lightly rubbed into our legs for 30 minutes. The service was supposed to be 40 – 45 minutes long and I’m still sitting here, almost two hours later, finally waiting on my toes to dry. Not to mention the simple spider web design I asked for (with a picture example) looks like the generic burst with sparkles I didn’t want. A waste of $ 80 dollars.

I walked in and signed the sign in sheet, picked a color and sat down. Ten minutes later I was still waiting and hadn’t been helped. I found a staff member and asked. She’s told me I’d have to come back another time. Terrible customer service.

Such incredible service w a beautiful manicure and pedicure each time. All the extras like massaging pedicure chairs, recliners w calf massage while your toe polish dries, sugar scrubs, paraffin dips, you dream it, they have the service.

What can I possibly say about this place? I have been back in town for two months and have tried 3 different places for eyebrows, pedicures, manicures. Unhappy with all of them… until now. So, I guess FOURTH time’s a charm! This is a beautiful spa. It’s clean, it’s inviting, the ambiance is so incredible. You walk in and get such a good vibe from the people there. You are greeted right away. The owner did my eyebrows. What a doll she is. And she takes her time. Prices are no more than anywhere else and you get so much more. I have an appointment for a pedi next week. I am so looking forward to it!

Diana did a really great job doing my nails! I did have to come back a second time to have them redone. But I’m really happy with how she did them. Next time I come I’ll have to ask for her :)

This place could be great but has unreliable service. This last time the girl doing my pedi left a total of 6 times, forgot to wash off the scrub and was constantly yelling to the nail guy across the room. How is this relaxing??? Sometimes it is a good experience and other times horrid. I made an appt for Lynn to do my pedi and they completely ignored my appt.

Been living in Sacramento for almost 6 months and could never find a place that could do my nails the way I wanted. I did a walk-​in and got Tin. He did a amazing job! I will be coming back and having him to my nails. He asked me exactly how I was Them and did everything right. Made a appointment for 2 weeks to get a full. I can’t wait!

Just want to put it out there to make sure you don’t walk in on a busy day because you will get looked over and have to wait for the «paying customer»!!!
And make sure you watch your person giving you the service when they walk away because they don’t use steril utensils and they take used buffers out of the garbage canisters and use them on you!

Worse service here with kids mom and daughter and It was a full house as soon as all customers finish they start on the two girls. Leaving me in front Russian couple comes in and they are seated promptly and serviced. The owner asked «you want mani and pedi right I said yes 20 more min go by and still no service they than seat me and I wait another 20 min as I sit here still no service as I type this. I spend at least $ 200.00 here every two weeks getting myself and my kids nails done and this is just crappy service. Just because you act like you don’t speak English dose not make it ok to give poor service like this. I will never come back after this visit period.

This Is starting to become a regular place for me! Today I was with Tin he is new and did an amazing job on my gel manicure (i highly recommend him). I enjoy that the place is so clean and the décor is cute. With a place like this I feel like I should be paying more. I’m always pleased.

They get rid of my ingrown and do good feet/​leg massages price goes from cheap to moderate depending what mani pedi you choose to have done. This is my regular spot now.

I’ve been to Ophelia’s a few times prior to today’s visit. I felt like treating myself so I came for a mani/​pedi. I’ve been to numerous nail salons, and I thought I’d give Ophelia’s a try again. I am very happy I did! They have many options for both manicures and pedicures, they are reasonably priced and I think it is worth the money.
They were busy, but had plenty of staff so I did not feel like they rushed through my service at all. I am very pleased and going to make this my regular go-​to nail salon.
Update: my manicure only lasted 3 days. :(

Updating my review… First off we have been going there for more than 4 years and never a problem. But this time Me and my mom were in there a few weeks ago and my mom got a bad pedicure. The lady didn’t even cut her toe cuticles. And my mom went back the next day and complained and the owner (which knows us) she said there’s nothing she can do but she can pay to get another pedicure. Wow couldn’t believe she told her that. After 4 years of our service your going to say that. We’ll now they lost our service and many of my friends as we’ll.

I was really impressed with the service today. This time I decided to have a girl time get together. I called ahead to make an appt for three girls and I told them one was running late. They took two of us at a time and the other two of us were welcome to sit in chairs near our friends to continue our conversations.
They did such a great job with all four of us. They were able to accommodate four of our pedi’s and one manicure. It was a great experience like always! And for a very good price!
