What a horrid experience! I must say that the woman that works at the location (and I forget her name) was absolutely great. From scheduling over the phone to her customer service, she did a nice job. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service or concern for one’s time was so poor as far as the doctor was concerned that it completely diminished all that she did.
I made a same-​day appointment. I showed up about ten minutes early. The doctor was advised that I was there at the time of my arrival. I waited forty minutes with no one else in the office. Twice the office manager advised the doctor that I was waiting. There was no contact nor did I ever see him. Unfortunately, after forty minutes I decided to leave.
I’ll definitely be reporting to my eye insurance and also not recommending this location to anyone! Very unfortunate.

I was never a fan of the optical dept located in this store until recently.
I work in the area often, so this is the most convenient JC Penny’s for me.
There has been a change in management, and the new person is very professional
and accommodating. The previous manager seemed less interested in helping people.
The new manager greeted me immediately and asks how she could help.
I had a new prescription and needed updated frames.
I don’t need anything fancy, and she didn’t try to push extras on me.
Although there were several other customers looking around, I felt that I was her number 1
priority. I am glad for the change and look forward to future purchases…
