Lucky Chen is our goto place for delivery Chinese. The food is great and the service has always been spot on. Reasonable delivery time and the food always shows up hot and the way we ordered it. They seem to use quality ingredients and don’t skimp on the portions. One of our particular favorites is their War Wonton Soup. Another is the Beef Chow Fun.

Went here for the first time today, my wife and I both got the lunch specials. The food was very good. We will definitely be coming back.

The food took over 1 ½ hours for delivery. Once delivered I told the driver that I wanted to make sure the food was hot. He stated«you can heat up» and left. When I went through the food it was ice cold. It took them an hour to come pick ip their food and return my money. The driver was extremely rude. He would not give me my money until he inspected every box to make sure all the food was there. I will never order from here again!

So while I was not a fan of the BBQ pork fried rice, I was a fan of their prawn egg foo young I can not explain to you all the high complexity nature of the proper preparedness of this dish. I’ve tried almost all of the Chinese restaurants in this area and none of them can get it right except for Lucky Chen and for that I am grateful and will be a return customer. The prawns in black bean sauce were very yummy! The orange chicken was dry to me, and so was the fried rice. No biggie I’ll just try other items ;) the shrimp stuffed bell pepper dim sum was on point! Very yummy and moist as it should be I am impressed with their flavors!

The lady is typical Asian that doesn’t smile, greet, or care about customer service. That’s not why I gave them 1 Star. My biggest issue with the place is the ant infestation and cockroaches in the dining area. Before I can finish my soup during the lunch hour, I saw two or three trails of ants as well as cockroaches chilling in the corner of the dining area. The food here has been decent in the past but needles to say, I won’t be back.

I ordered for take out and he told me 10 minutes I got there in about 7 and it was bagged and ready. The price was great. Portions ample, Service was friendly, food was delicious and hot still when I got home… the only issue I have with the place was the facility looks like it needs a facelift. I would eat it again. My wife enjoyed it too and she tends to be pretty finicky.

I ordered delivery; and I also ordered vegan. Veggie everything! This means no animal products; no butter, no eggs, no fish oils, no meat — and they accommodated well. The food came out pretty good. The Sesame tofu and the vegetable fried rice was good for sure. The delivery did not take long, as well as the food still being very hot when sitting down to eat.

Absolutely our favorite Chinese place! Lucky is very kind and so is the rest of his family who works there. The food is wonderful and decently priced, although a bit more pricey than some, you get what you pay for. The restaurant itself is pretty lackluster but things are clean.

Truly a hidden gem. Great chinese food and dim sum as well. The sweet and sour fish is amazing!

My family and I come here regularly. Service has always been great. It’s the only place nearby that has decent dim sum. Not the best dim sum, but definitely good enough. Otherwise we have to trek all the way to Concord or further. Their a la carte dishes are good too, especially for the price. Love their crispy flounder and many other dishes. Haven’t been disappointed yet.

While we were eating the hostess/waitress started clipping her nails loudly from the front desk causing us to lose our appetites. She also handled our food and money without washing her hands. The food was on the greasy side, the fried rice was over fried, the wonton soup was lacking veggies, but the chow mien and sweet and sour pork were good.

Ordered delivery from grub hub quick delivery, but a bug(beetle, roach, something) was cooked into the fried rice. Called in, they asked us to bring the food back and gave us our money back including delivery charge. Very disappointing

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. My daughter is extremely picky and she eats everything here. So does my husband and he’s pretty picky himself. Hands down this place has the BESTEVER sizzling rice soup. Oh and their lunch specials are such a great value and they have the specials on the weekends too. I love that their food is not greasy or over salted.

Had some last minute unexpected guest and the food I got from Rice Bowl wasn’t enough. I figured I might as well try Lucky Chen for a change(and they have delivery). I ordered online at 7:10 and the food arrived about 30 minutes later. I think their food is equal to Rice Bowl; this place has it’s pluses and not everything is good. Their hot and sour soup was perfect for a cold night, but was more tilted towards the hot side; I prefer it to be evenly balanced. It had good quantity of tofu and other accessories with the soup so it wasn’t all liquid and slurping. Their shrimp fried rice was a bit of a miss and disappointment; particularly the shrimp wasn’t up to par; it had a slight mushy/slime taste which is a good indication the shrimp is in stage 4(but the shrimp was of nice 1-inch size diameter. I didn’t notice a heavy presence of MSG which is always a good thing. Their Rice Noodle was nothing out of the ordinary(in this case, it’s good); it had flavorful chicken and a nice handful of onions and green onions. Taste and temperature was good. For their vegetable chow mein, they use the thicker noodles(Shanghai thick noodles). Although it doesn’t look like there’s much in a box, it can be deceiving as these noodles can fill you up quickly. The order had lots of noodles and outnumbered the vegetables 4 to 1; I’d prefer a 2 to 1 ratio. We also tried the ½ Peking Duck; I don’t think they made the duck there but nonetheless, the duck was surprisingly good(it taste just as good New Gold Medal in Oakland). It had a right balance of taste and unlike other places, it wasn’t over powering with five spice powder or star anise. They also skinned the duck and left it on top of the meat which made it easy to eat. They did include a small ½ ounce of hoisin sauce which was plenty for six servings, but traditionally it should have some scallions(or green onion strips) which they didn’t include. One disappointment was that two of the buns(the bottom of them) was refrigerator cold; not sure how this could’ve happened as the other four were warm. Overall it was not a bad experience and I think I’ll try some of their other dishes when other unexpected guest show up.

Decent diamond in the rough. I had no idea this place existed until my mom and a friend told me about it. So far I’ve been here a good handful of times now. Nice staff. Pretty good food and they have dim sum. They make it from scratch so it does take some time, but well worth it. They have a good amount of seating and seem to pick up during lunch time and dinner. But it’s never really packed. They do a lot of take out and delivery. Yes, they deliver. But I still live a bit too far for delivery. I normally have to head to Oakland or such for some dim sum, but glad I now have this place to go to.

DONOTORDERFROMHERE! I ordered from Lucky Chen for the first and LAST time. As I was mixing my MuShoo Chicken I found a roach cooked in it. I am beyond pissed. On top of that when I called to complain the staff and manager are rude! He was being very sarcastic like he did not understand what I was saying. He gave me the run around for 10 mins to tell me I have to contact the delivery company to cancel. DONOTEATHEREUNLESSYOUWANTBUGSFORDINNER! PS.I give this place NOSTARS. I had to put 1 to post.
