This review is only for the service since I wasn’t able to get as far as eating the food. I work in a neighboring establishment that is also inside the raleys shopping center. I called in an order for pickup, and ended up getting busy at work, therefore unable to leave to pick up my food. I called back and asked if it were at all possible that somebody walk over my food, and explained that I’m her neighbor and got busy etc etc. she stated that there was only her and one other person working, therefore unable to leave. Understandable. I asked if she can send it with the delivery driver, as she stated that they were just about to go for their deliveries. She said yes, and when I asked if I would be getting charged a delivery charge, she said yes. Lol, seriously? I’m literally like 10 stores away from you… And she said«yeah but it’s still a delivery». I don’t know, does 50 feet still count as a delivery? Lol Ok yeah, I get that«technically» it is still a delivery, but there is a certain kind of respect and service you provide for your neighboring business and establishments that I guess mountain Mikes doesn’t understand. Every establishment I’ve been to inside this center will provide discounts, hook ups, etc for the simple fact that I’m their«neighbor» and this works both ways. She had rather me cancel my order than just wave a measly $ 2 delivery service charge. Principle. I should be thanking her that I didn’t put that greasy garbage into my body anyway, after skimming through the rest of the reviews I think she did me a favor. Thanks chick! I’m sure your manager would be proud.

The pizza was ok at best, just your normal chain pizza place the service on the other hand is terrible. The people were not friendly but we’re not rude either. But my problem is with the way they handle the ordering of pizza and drinks you stand in line while the employees stand in front of you taking multiple phone orders before you are served. There is something call hold!!! If you are going to take people’s orders before mine at least do it some were where I don’t have to watch, it should be who ever was there or called first. Also after ordering a beer you have to stand and there for another 5 minutes before the person that can poor the beer is available just dumb!!!

I will never order from Mountain Mikes Pizza again. I am new to Antioch, and thought I would support a local business, rather than a franchise. I regret my decision. The pizza arrived cold even though I am less than a mile away from the location. One of the toppings was missing — which I had paid for, and they did not have the courtesy to call me to, let me know, or adjust the price accordingly. And the pizza was not cooked through. The Jalpeno Poppers were not coked enough either. The Garlic Bread was okay. Which was the only thing decent enough to to eat.

Woah… the pizza was very greasy, and not the yummy greasy kind. I also couldn’t finish one bite of the jalapeño poppers. Very disappointed. The service however was great!

I always loved going to this pizza place until now ! I have food industry experience and i enjoy giving service to my customers however a young lady that was working tonight didn’t seem like she did like giving good service. I was rushed into ordering my food and i asked for a mountain size pepperoni and add an extra topping on only half of the pizza and I ended getting a big pizza with only half of the extra topping I ordered last. I apologized for the miscommunication but she clearly said back to me that she repeated the pizza order and that I agreed to it being correct. She asked back on the topping I asked not the entire pizza so she clearly stated it was my fault and she suggested a smaller pepperoni pizza along with the one i had but didnt want to eat so I declined because it was going to be too much and last minute ended up redoing the pizza but then charge me 2 dollars extra for the topping i already asked for and for the little extra toppings on half of the pizza ! I imagine she would have charged me for the other pizza if i agreed to the smaller one and was not even notified before i agreed !!! So unprofessional !!! She was rushing me, talked way to fast, slammed my salad plate as well as cups and receipt /pen & charged me more for perrochini toppings on half of the pizza and they were not even a lot or well cooked !!! to me she didnt give good service at all and i ended up feeling so bad uncomfortable and sad !! I ended up feeling so uncomfortable and not even eating the dinner i bought my family. Money was not the issue but the service was horrible i will go back to find her name but she works nights on tuesdays for sure !!! I am not coming back here !!! Mikes lost many loyal customers today !!! So sad !!! Need to train these young woman much more about respect and ways to treat others !!! Its sad because i know if i was behind the counter it would be a whole different scene and i would never leave my customers unsatisfied

Ever since the new management took over, this place has excelled in customer service and the cleanliness of the establishment. You actually get greeted and thanked for your business. We can start coming back here again!

BARF! Wtf happened to this place. I heard new owners took over. Mountain Mikes used to be my favorite pizza! I don’t think they use all fresh ingredients for the toppings. My pizza looked horrible. I called to tell them I was disappointed that my pizza was cold and didn’t even smell right. The worker on the phone offered to remake and deliver another, I declined. So long Mountain Mikes.

Very good pizza, ok price! Delivery varies depending on time and what day of the week it is. Sometimes it’s supper fast, other times is a lil sluggish. But they always seem understaffed so not sure if that has something to do with it.

If i could give this place 0 stars I would! I never come here nor order from here, but today I thought what the heck it’s closer to home so I’ll just pick up a pizza for dinner. When I ordered by phone I told the cashier I had a coupon, a buy one large specialty pizza & get one medium one topping for free. As soon as I pull up the place already made me not want to step out my car. There was guys right in front smoking and drinking, while(I’m guessing their kids) were running around all over the place. When I walked in to get my order the cashier, didn’t catch her name but she was a middle aged short haired woman, was rude about my coupon. She said she thought it was a different one & she made my «free» one topping pizza a large when it should have been a medium so she couldn’t give it to me for free. I told her that was a mistake on her part & she told me it was a «Mis communication» between us. Umm. no homegirl! I had read to her what my coupon said. Either way she made me pay for the«free» pizza! Overall, I’m never coming here again.

Been here multiple times, always been pretty good. Went there tonight for dinner, it was terrible. It started at the counter when we asked if they could put the A’s game on a t.v. for us. The girl said they only had one working t.v. and she didn’t know. So we asked if she could ask someone else and she said no one else would know. She then proceeded to ask my husband to take the remote, and go ask the group of people sitting near the t.v. if he could change the channel. A little awkward. We still ordered and with remote in hand went to find the game. Of course what channel dont they get? pretty much most channels with baseball(which is why we tried to get an answer before we ordered). When we got our small gluten free pizza, it was burnt. You can only get a gluten free pizza in that size, and you pay extra for it, you could at least make it the right way. We didnt bother complaining because the girls working didn’t seem to care about anything. Maybe they have not been taught customer service skills. I know this is harsh, but I worked at a pizza place in high school and I actually cared about my job. We do not plan to go back.

no stars! the workers are very friendly but the delivery service is beyond slow, they lie about wait times, it’s such a hassle to use their coupons, I’ve never waiting less than 1hr &1ins for either take out or delivery, they do NOT follow your side requests for special orders

absolutely terrible establishment. there were only 3 girls working behind the counter on a friday night and they had no idea what they were doing nor did they care about the service they were providing. food took forever to get and the soda machine was out of multiple drinks and they were never refilled as requested. I will not be returning.

GREAT location! The lunch special is legit too. I like that I can get an all you can eat lunch for under $ 7. Jackpot! Salad bar is huge too. The banquet room in the back is also nice if you want to have an event there(which we do frequently).

:Update: They recently remodeled and it now has a very nice ambience to it. They replaced pretty much everything, and one whole side of booths has become those cool tall tables and chairs. They’ve added a big HDTV, and a party room in back. If you didn’t like the retro feel of it before, you should like it now. (The only con is they still have bright fluorescent lighting in addition to the new lamps. You should have one or the other, not both.) That’s a minor quibble though, Go Check it out! Friendly, family owned business, delicious pizza, they are about the price of Round Table for a single pizza, but have great specials which are drastically lower the price, even 50%, which keeps us going back. The amount of toppings(sauce, cheese, veggies) varies, but is still basically consistent. Sometimes we joke«this was the discount version», but it’s always above average. I pick it up early evening, and they always have a tv on which I believe is why there’s no music, there are always groups there, its a great party place, unlimited soda I think. I ate there at lunch once and they had a tv on then too, so, not sure about the guy who didn’t like the silence, if it really bothered him so much, there was a giant tv there, if it was off, he should’ve asked to have it turned on. it feels like he was keeping a list of reasons to hate this place. Look for coupons in the weekly mail, or penny saver.

Very good service. Very good food. But go on a Wednesday night you can only eat what the kitchen chooses to give you. Requested veggie pizza and never received.

Mountain Mikes is the best family environment. When you come in you are welcomed with a friendly greeting from one of the servers. It is self serve, offering all-you-can eat salad as well as free refills on soda. The pizza itself can be a bit pricey but look for coupons on line, in the mail, pennysaver, just about anywhere you would look for any kind of coupons. Also, Monday and Tuesday nights are 50% off any large pizza which could possibly be the best deal they have! All produce is cut daily meaning everything on the pizza and in the salad bar is fresh! Great little arcade for children as well as a well stocked toy counter for children to turn in tickets and win prizes. The lobby is well lit and has plenty of seating options as well as a large television with the best sports always on. Also, if you are looking for a good deal, Mountain Mikes has an all you can eat buffet daily from 11 – 2 as well as a dinner buffet on Wednesday nights from 5 – 8. Its a great deal, who wouldn’t want all the pizza and salad they can eat?!? I highly recommend that you go in and try their pizza!

Was there once in 2005 and decided today would be a good day to give them another try. So here we are, 2010, and things haven’t changed much. Got there around noon for the lunch buffet. Cashier greeted us, she was friendly and all. Rang us up and we headed for the salad bar. The salad bar is so-so in comparison to others. Some of the broccoli stems weren’t as fresh as they could be and the tomatoes didn’t have the fresh taste to them either. The pizza itself was not so bad, I just didn’t find it appealing how the tongs were placed on the counter w/o any way of ensuring customers would place them back to where they belong. In other words, there was no way of telling where they belong. Their pepperoni pizza was okay, the pepperoni’s were a bit too crusty for my liking. On to the ambiance: this, dear business owner, is CRUCIAL if you’re going to have customers come in and SIT in your restaurant. For one, where is the music? It was awkwardly quiet in this restaurant, there was another party of 3 at the other end of the restaurant and they were chatting quietly but you could sill hear them across the room. A lady sat in the booth behind us and we’re sure she could hear us, too. The guy in the kitchen was super creepy, kept cracking the kitchen door to check on the pizza instead of walking to the buffet line to actually see for himself what was going on. In addition, he was dragging his feet LOUDLY on the floor, which was distracting me from my conversation. Again, MUSIC can help hinder all these nuisances from your business. As I said before, I was there in 2005 and at the time one of the managers/owners(female) was on the phone arguing with one of her suppliers, right at the counter as I was eating, and after 5 years I figured perhaps they made some improvements but they have a bit work to do.

I ordered a small vegetarian(Mt. Veggiemore I think) which had olives, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, onion, green bell pepper and slices of tomatoes. It was cheesy and loaded with toppings like pizza should be. They have an all-you-can-eat pizza and salad lunch buffet from 11 — 2. I would suggest getting there right when it starts for the freshest pizza. I was there around 1:30 and it looked like the same pizza had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. The restaurant is very family friendly with lots of large tables and booths and a huge arcade area.
