Yummy food. Best tasting salsa around. I love to mix the hot and mild. Ordered the grande tostada with shredded beef. Normally get the chica size but the price went up– it just seemed I should get this bigger one for not that much more. I suggest using chips with this salad and making your own sauces. Huge huge huge portion.

This place used to be good… went there today. and it’s been 3 years. and I try to order al pastor… and they ran out… order lengua. and they don’t have it… order a shrimp burrito. and they don’t make it. how the hell are u going to run out of food at 5pm on a Saturday night… also took a long ass time for the lady to even acknowledge me and take my order… so had to drive to La Costa to get what I wanted. smh…I’ll never eat at this place!

This place is so good! My favorite thing is the asada super burrito. And the chips and salsa are to die for! Definitely recommend this place. I have only dined in one time, otherwise I get it to go. The portions sizes are big. All the employees are nice too!

No comprehensive review needed. They provide high quality service at a reasonable price(the typical Carne Asada Super Burrito with no onions and extra cheese is less than $ 10.00) for food that tastes great. Their enchiladas and crispy tacos are quite good as well. They have dedicated parking, indoor/outdoor seating, very quick service and a good attitude. They are also located right off the freeway near Kaiser on Somersville. It doesn’t get much better than this. Congratz to a well established restaurant. Definitely a 5 star place.

Their burritos are delicious and it’s my favorite spot, But I was there yesterday and I was paying with my debit card. When the lady was swiping my card she kept saying it wouldn’t go through, I asked if she could do manually she said she didn’t know how but did not try to ask anyone for help. I called my husband to bring me cash and then I see a waitress swipe a credit card and so I asked the lady helping me to try swiping my card again then I notice she had been swiping it the wrong way!!! I was not happy and she was so embarrassed all she said was oh sorry!!! Not cool I don’t know if I will go back now!

As a Taqueria snob… this place hits the spot! Since I’m new to the area, this will be our family’s new favorite place!

Worst service I’ve ever had. We came here because it appeared to not be too busy on a Saturday morning. They took our order and never served our food. After waiting more than twenty minutes they served three other parties and not once did anyone come check on our table to see if we needed anything. When I went to inquire what was going on they ALL appeared to be dumbfounded and lost and no one knew where the order was. Mind you there were no more 6 people in the whole restaurant when we arrived. The lady gave me an attitude because I was upset and just basically said do you want them to make it or not? Idiot. We left to say the least.

Had the tampiqueno. Grilled thin steak with rice and grilled hot peppers. One stuffed with cheese, one really hot, and one in a bowl with frijoles(bean soup) de la hills. ½ avocado on the side. Plenty of tortillas. A dining experience to remember.

Intimate seating, cool music, food was a B-, wait time was under 5 minutes! Collectively, a solid weekend brunch.

Best Mexican joint in antioch. The Wet burrito is to die for. You get salsa and chips if you dine in. Not sure why they don’t give chips with togo orders. Food is still delicious regardless.

The Gorditas are to die for, well at least they were the first time I came. The second visit which was yesterday the masa was overcooked the carne asada was on point though. My chips were not fresh like they were on my first visit and I assumed there was a free refill on the chips and sodas and sadly I learned they were not so that killed it a bit for me. I also ordered the flour flautas they were yummy but missing something in flavor perhaps some cheese or seasoning would have helped a great deal. My hubby is over it this was both our second time coming not sure there will be a third and I thought I had just found my favorite restaurant after the first time.

Me gusta su comida pero el servicio es un poco tardado, la comida es buena no me puedo quejar, si se esmeran e la atención al cliente podría subir una estrella

Another 5 star taco. I got a pastor taco. The meat was good, but not as tasty as the pastor at Dulce’s Antojitos. However, they grilled the tortillas(yay!), the salsa was MUCH better, plus they had pickled jalepenos, yay!, in addition to 3 salsas, limes, and radishes at the salsa bar. However, the taco was more expensive, $ 2.75. But still, it’s a good deal. The other menu items looked delicious too. However, I’m sampling all the pastor tacos first on my taco tasting tour :-)

Look, I’ve been coming here for the last 6 years… But something has changed as of late. You’re charging for chips? And chip refills? And carne asada is an extra dollar? Don’t make signs, update your menu board. And why does the fried foods taste acidy? Change the oil? The chicken tastes old, too. And the walls are dirty. Please fix this stuff. I really like coming here.

So I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years. I always thought it was one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh. But on my latest visit, I was drastically disappointed. 1) the quality of the meat has downgraded in resistible. What once was fresh, is not very fatty. I couldn’t even finish it. It was gross. Plus they are charging $ 1 extra for carne asada. More money less quality. 2) they are charging for chips now! Not cool, it is standard that all Mexican restaurants provide these. It’s a tradition. You eat chips and salsa while you wait. That’s just the way it goes. But now they are charging for chips without refill!!! Plus the chips are always stale. 3) expensive!!! Everything is soooo expensive now. I was shocked at how much the prices have increased. It’s not really worth it anymore and my family and I are not planning to return.

Yum-o! This was my second time I had dinner here. Good Mexican food for a fair price. Today we got the nachos and they let us have half steak and half chicken because I couldn’t make up my mind. And we also ordered a wet carnitas burrito. Both were 18 bucks, not bad. I love the spicy green salsa, great with everything. The lady at the register was very nice and helpful. It didn’t take long for the food to come out. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shredded chicken had great flavor. The nachos alone could feed two people. Comes with a heaping pile of beans and cheese. The wet burrito was good as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. Just don’t come here on Sunday’s because they are closed. Even though taqueria salsa isn’t in the safest neighborhood, I would still come back.

I’ve come here on 2 separate visits and I was pleased with both! The first thing I ever ordered was the crispy taco combo plate with an horchata. It was delicious. The second visit I ordered the Mojado Burrito with carne asada meat and everything on it. The burrito is huge and has just the right amount of mole sauce. I also appreciate the fact that each order comes with a basket of chips. There are plenty of seats in the restaurant. All in all, I had an excellent dining experience, and I plan to return to this restaurant on several occasions.
