As far as efficiencies go, this one is a fine choice. You can see the building from Williams St., sitting back behind a drab-looking auto service business. It’s super close to Highway 1 and If you’re coming from Holly Springs, keep your eyes open after passing the McDonalds. The parking doesn’t look particularly plentiful, yet it seemed to do just fine. The lobby desk was accommodating, but unavailable each time I needed them. Luckily they have a phone up front for you to contact them, and they answered me immediately. There are amenities that were useless to me, like the 24 hour laundry and CD rental. They also sell bottled water at a buck each, so make sure to stop at the gas station across from the Waffle House(down the street) for a better deal. And since it’s an efficiency, stock up on a little food for the fridge. Williams St. is packed with businesses, but there’s one lone grocery store near the hotel, by the railroad overpass. There’s also a Walmart by this location, but finding it takes some ingenuity if you’re not familiar with the area. I thought the wifi was particularly weak and struggled with it. I was also not a fan of the TV lineup. I’ve been to hotels that had a much better On Demand assortment, but here you’ll just get bare bones cable and a cheap remote to surf it. And the toilet sucked. Since the toilet paper rod is literally BEHIND you while you sit, and jammed close into the ribs, using the john was a lame experience. Hopefully not all the rooms are like that. I’m still a fan of this spot because of the $ 80 price I paid for one night(spur of the moment), the ultra-clean presentation, the very friendly customer service, and the convenience to everything you might need. Most importantly, the bed was ridiculously comfortable. I hadn’t had such a relaxing night’s sleep in a long, long time. And that might be swaying my vote toward the 4-star range.

Convenient location of main road and Hwy 1. Everything was clean and seemed new. Rooms had full fridge, double burner cooktop, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Our door was so tight that my wife could barely open it. When you did open it, it made a loud metal scrapping sound. The next morning we went down to switch rooms. We have a baby that would be impossible for one of us to leave the room without waking him. So they said«No problem come down in a few hours». We did, them they said” the rooms not ready yet. We’re not sure if we can do it before 3″. We left and came back at 2. Then they weren’t sure if they could do it cause the cleaning crew was leaving, but they’d check. Which was nice since we were only ready since 8 am! So we got our new room and the door didn’t scrape. Nice enough place with under qualified staff.
