Holiday Inn Express Apex-Raleigh

Would never stay here again. Horrible customer service. I called because they over charged me for my stay and the staff redirected me to the lady in charge of fees. It went to voice mail, i left a message explaining what was wrong with my bill and she never called back. Don’t stay here unless you want your money stolen.

Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

We stayed here this last weekend, and it was wonderful. We had a room on the fourth floor that was spacious enough for a rollaway bed to be brought up and still have tons of room. I always love that there are several options of firmness for pillows, my son loved the soft pillow so much, he went and asked the front desk how he could buy one.
The breakfast they served was def above average (don’t miss out on those cinnamon rolls!!) with the option of turkey sausage. During the afternoon, I snagged cookies that were in the lobby (and yum!). My son enjoyed the outdoor pool.
It’s a short ride to Raleigh and the employees here are amazing! The friendliness (even the wonderful desk attendant who brought the rollaway bed to our room at 12 on Friday night!) was great.
The only complaint I have, which isn’t even that serious, is that we would love to see some weights in the work out room. There were only a couple cardio machines and that to me, isn’t enough to be considered a «fitness room». But, over all, the service here was wonderful, breakfast delicious, and the rooms were spacious and clean!

Clean Rooms. Place seems fairly new. Giant refrigerator. Microwave. Free wifi. Check out is 12PM! I usually don’t review hotels, but I had a great experience here and highly recommend this place to others. Only about 15 minutes from Lake Jordan!

I’ve stayed at this HI Express several times when visiting family in the area. The service here is good, and the rooms and the amenities are always good. A decent fitness room is convenient, too.
Unfortunately, this HI Express continues the tradition of having absolutely terrible breakfast food, just like the other HI Expresses I’ve stayed at over the past few years.
Do HI Express managers ever taste this stuff? I doubt it. Look, I don’t expect gourmet food at a motel breakfast bar, ok? But if you’re going to offer it and charge me for it, at least make it edible. Or simply don’t serve it and lower my price, because I’m going to be going out for breakfast every single time.

Clean as a whistle, surprisingly good breakfast options (including hot cheesy omelets on the weekends), wonderful staff. My sister came down with Influenza A halfway through our stay, and they provided extra blankets, extra pillows, directions to the 24-​hour Walgreens, and a really late checkout to get her back to the airport… and as we were leaving the maid was ready with a cart full of industrial cleaners to sanitize the room and linens. Well handled and professional.
