Dick’s Sporting Goods

I spent an entire day looking for a panther salute to service sweatshirt and most stores I contacted wouldn’t even look to see if they had stock but when I called this Dick’s in Apex the staff was beyond pleasant and helpful found my sweatshirt and held it till I could get someone there to pick it up!!! I called several times to arrange the pick up and each time my sales person, Chris Campoli was extremely pleasant and never seemed bothered by my calls or inquiries. When the sweatshirt was picked up the entire staff was courteous and pleasant and the store was very impressive. I have been to many Dicks Sporting Goods but this one surpasses the service and quality that I had received in any others!

Worse customer service experience at this store. Love to buy the sporting good at Dicks but sorry. Will not buy from this store.

You would think a big chain store would have better methods of return policy. I did not bring my receipt with me, but I had the Nike pants I wanted to get a size larger. The said they would give me ½ the value and would have to pay $ 30.00 more for the same exact Nike pants, with there tags on it. Really !!! I did bring in the receipt and exchanged them. Needless to say Dicks is off my list to purchase anything. I felt like I was getting the run around.

I’ve been very happy buying my kids bikes from Dicks. They offer a warranty that covers tune-​ups, so that’s worked out very well as the kids are pretty tough on their bikes.
For shoes, the prices honestly aren’t that good. I’ve gotten much better deals online, with just as wide of a selection. I do like to shop their clearance section, especially between summer and fall. If you’re have a frequent shopper card, they send you occasional coupons for $ 10/​$ 20/​sometimes $ 50 off, which helps keep the price down.

The staff is killing this store. Today I stopped in to see what was new and was greeted by the stores bouncer/​front door attendant. I said hi and he managed to only say «sir», not hi, not welcome to Dick’s Sporting Goods, not even let us know if we can help, just sir.
I let that pass and did my usual quick walk around to see the new stuff before I take a closer look and that walk around brought me back to the front of the store. As I look up before turning down the middle isle I am greeted once again by the store bouncer. He gives me a blank look that leans towards the negative side, looks at my pockets, I’m guess to see if they are stuff full of winter gear and asks me if I’m ok. Did I just get pulled over for speeding or am I shopping for outdoor gear. I told him I was fine and began looking at the sales clothes, but the back to back experiences with the front door clown left me in no mood to shop, so I decided to use my time I would have spent buying clothes to let the Unilocal world know what a great time I had.
Other stores carry the same stuff and I will be spending my money with them moving forward.

I still love Dick’s, but today when I went they did not have what we needed. They have every sport at dicks, but they do not have wrestling headgear. oh well!
