Schlotzskys Delicatessen

Not the best sandwich I ever had but it certainly acceptable. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and at the end of the day I had good sandwich.
It’s more of a chain like subway than a «deli», the food is pretty good and it isn’t too expensive. I thought they had some interesting sandwiches on the menu.
I don’t know if I would say my sandwich was exceptional, but I would come again. Basically it’s a safe bet for lunch and there will be something here for most people.

Forgetabouit if you’re looking for a new York style deli. It’s a fast food chain. I was like disappointed and I won’t be back. Sorry, Mr Schlotsky. You probably had a good idea once long ago but it didn’t work out.

I’ve been a fan of Schlotzsky’s for years and years. The best soup and sandwich place EVER! Period. I miss the one near the airport. This is one of the last locations in the area. Highly recommended.

It takes me 45mins to get to Schlotzskys, but for me it’s well worth it!
I only go every couple of months now so it’s definitely like a treat. I always get the medium Pastrami and Swiss exactly how it comes with Jalapeño chips and a Raspberry Sweet Tea Lemonade mash-​up. Sorry for no picture, but I got excited and devoured my food then thought about taking one.
If are close to this place enjoy it on the regular for us folks who are farthe. If you’re passing buy this is a great place to make a pit stop.

The sourdough bread is what stands out here. It is unique and scrumptious. I got the angus roast beef & cheese. The first half of the sandwich tasted good but I got sick of the roast beef by the second half. It was not very flavorful and I am not used to eating warm mayo and lettuce. I did continue eating the bread though. I think all their sandwiches come warmed. My rating would be a 3.5. I do really like the bread and can understand why people come here.

Had the pastrami on homemade sourdough bread. It was great with a lot of meet. Better than Subway that only puts on two pieces of meat for the same price. The bag of chips though was ½ full.

The Original was a little slice of heaven. There aren’t very many Schlotskys left… I truly enjoyed my sandwich. I am going back tomorrow. Yum!

BOO! No pets, even outside. Too bad since we like Schlotsky’s and the chain seems to be struggling, but we’ll go elsewhere. Also: No jalapeño bread, which I learned via a fierce pointing finger as I was interrupted while ordering. Then they made the wrong pizza and asked if we «wanted the right one».

So from what I understand I am one of the few real Schlotzskys fans left out there. When I was living in Charlotte there was only one Schlotzskys left and it was 30min away in Gastonia man oh man I couldn’t wait till I had a shoot out that way so I could get me fix.
This Scholotzskys on 64 I believe is now the only one in this area and It’s my go to on the run «healthy» fast food. I only order one thing when I go to Schlotzskys and it’s been this way for well over ten years now… the veggie sandwich. This veggie sandwich is like crack to me I just love it and when I get a craving for it I just have to have it.
Understand that you will always wait longer at this drive-​thru then other fast food places I assume it takes a little longer to make those yummy sammies. I can’t really review anything other than that sandwich they use to have a Thai chicken pizza that was pretty good as well but the drive-​thru menu here is really limited I bet if my lazy butt went inside to order i would see all that they had to offer.
Oh let me not leave out that they have one of my favorite hot sauces. I eat hot sauce at every meal on every thing and this sauce just makes the sandwich it’s not to spicy but very tasty. You can buy some to take home with you as well.
