Tampa Sailing Squadron

This is a nice little building for boaters of all types to come together and meet with each other for special events such as the Christmas light boat parade. I think there was 40 of us signed up for the December 2015 parade.
The best decorated and most voted type win Awards. And several of the boats were really decked out very nicely with tons of lights all over them.
This is where we held our boater safety meetings to go over how to safely maneuver our large group through the the canals. It is a great local place for boaters to gather and plan boating adventures, and just hang out and talk.
If you live in the Apollo Beach area I recommend stopping by sometime for a meeting and see if it’s something you would like to get involved with. As most of the houses in this area either have their own private boat docks or have boats docked at one of the marinas in the area.
