If you are looking for outstanding quality, superb service and professionalism do try Clarks optical.
I have been trading with them since 1998. I have continued to trade with them for the last nine years living out-​of-​state. I have had several instances where I had an emergency at a meeting and fashionable glasses were made and sent to me via next day delivery. I then sent my good glasses to be repaired and paid a modest price.
They match competitors’ price and perform master repairs.

Do not go here for any eye glass repair. Unfortunately I found out the hard way. I did not buy my glasses there so I can’t hold them accountable for ruining a pair of $ 220 frames. Yes the repair was complicated which is why I was taking it to an optical shop. But the repair guy didn’t come discuss what he was going to do before boring out the original screw hole and then grinding the matte finish (which is now shiny and does not match the other side).

Another year has passed requiring another visit to Clarke’s. Always a great visit from the greeting upon entry, an exam by a knowledgable and pleasant Dr. Patel. Quality frames and lenses and the service they require provided by Clarke and David. With over 50 years of wearing eyeglasses I have been to many Dr. s and many optical Stores and I believe I have finally found one to stay with.

With relatively high myopia and significance astigmatism, I have a great amount of experience with vision care specialists. I have worn glasses for over 50 years and take my vision and it’s care very seriously.
Until Clarke’s Hunt Optical, I had been told that I would have to accept glasses that didn’t correct my vision (my vision was just too bad) and frames that wouldn’t fit my face (my nose is too narrow, my face is too broad and my ears are too sensitive).
My glasses from Clarke’s are amazing! I can see, I can drive at night without complete fear, I didn’t get migraines when I first put them on, they fit my face and don’t slip down my nose, etc. I can not say enough about how wonderful they are-​David is absolutely an artist, Clarke is witty and personable, the office is extremely professional with attentive and personalized customer service in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
You all have a customer for life.

Total Jerks! The owner talks down to you thinking he’s Mr. Funny guy while trying to up sell you on lenses. Terrible customer service, made me come in to get an exam in order to get a refill on my contact lenses because my annual was due, that’s fine, but when I tell them I have a 2 week old baby, they wouldn’t make any exception! Um, do they not know that pregnancy and being post partum temporarily changes your vision?! AND when I did order contacts, I went to pick them up and they were way too expensive (no price notification over the phone when I ordered) so when I only wanted to take 2 of the 3 boxes I ordered they were going to charge me a $ 10 return fee for the one box. So I left, and needless to say, I will never go back. Who’s laughing now mr funny guy?

My wife went there to get an eye exam and the owner, Clarke made my wife cry. He was rude, and aggressive to her. He got angry with her because she wanted to order glasses online with the prescription she got there from the Dr. They charge a lot for the glasses and will not give you the information you need to get glasses unless you buy glasses from them. V
Not a professional place at all. Stay clear!
