Old Chicago

That was the 2^nd best Mac N Cheese I have ever had. All 5 of us has something different. Pizza, stomboli, calzone and a burger. Definitely will go again when in the area.
We were here again! Wonderful food again. I had the Mediterranean pizza and my daughter had a calzone and pretzel bits.

Always friendly staff, we always get Chicago 7 consistently spot on! Outstanding selection of Beers!

Super Bowl Sunday. It must not have been on the Old Chicago calendar. Waiting 45 minutes for drinks and that was because our party is full of servers and one of them served our drinks.
Never again.

Came here the other day. Service was extremely subpar, took forever to take our order and when I received my food it was wrong.
Was here again today, ordered the same thing– exact same instructions for the buffalo pizza rolls, no celery– and it was still wrong. My boyfriend had to ask for a water twice and before she brought it to us, went and took someone else’s order before getting it to him right away. Slow, bad service.

The food and beer selections are great! Woth that being said, pizza is pizza and the service was not that great. We were seated at a dirty table which they came to clean after we were sitting. We waited for a good ten to fifteen before we were asked what we wanted to drink, and waited some more. After waiting again we finally got our order in… and then waited some more. We got our pizza to go and just ate our appetizer there. Great food. not so great service.

I have been to Old Chicago a couple times now. The amazing food brings me back each time! I’ve had pizza and pasta which is clearly handcrafted and fresh every time! The spicy fried pickles are my favorite and a must have for me every time. Good service. Cool mellow atmosphere with tons of appetizer/​food choices. Love love it!

Sadly mistaken tonight…
Not the usual amazing food or even adequate service…
And immediately after arriving home — after eating my small ~ droopy — aged Mediterranean Tomato Salad…
I clearly had some form of extremely low grade old vegetables or food poisoning.
Happy hour = 3 small slices of rotting tomatoes and 2.5 bits of (not so fresh) Mozzarella.
Very disappointing.
(But the manager —or the guy acting like one– was carrying the place — very attentive to every table — more so than anyone else)

Great food, great customer service. Pizza isn’t quite like Chicago but close enough that I’ll be returning.

ITALIAN NACHOS!!! Girlfriend had to have them since we don’t have Old Chi in California after moving there 3 years ago. We also ordered Sicilian Pepperoni rolls to share, and I ordered a custom mac n cheese. Everything was excellent, including our service.

I’m actually very sad to be writing this. I certainly hope my experience today was a fluke and not a usual thing for visits in the future. This Old Chicago was one of my favorites to visit when the family and I went out. Service is normally great. Their thin crust pizza is my favorite of all the places in the South Metro.
Today, I went for lunch with my daughter and a friend. We did not order from the lunch menu, but instead wanted items from the dinner menu. I ordered iced tea to drink. Sweetener they brought me had obviously been doused in liquid as there were brown stains all over all the packets in the little container they all were in. Packets were also crinkly as if they were wet, and now were dry.
On a normal day, I would have expected someone to come with our food in about 15 minutes. So I would just tell the server about the issue then. Hm… no one came by for quite a while. Finally, someone drops by and I can tell them of the issue. I am given a plate of «new from the box» packets. I use one. I notice that one of the new packets is still crinkly and has brown stains. How does that happen twice?
Food finally came somewhere in the 30 – 45 minutes timeframe. I noticed that even for most of the other tables, the manager was having to deliver the food. When ours came, it was lukewarm. It had obviously been sitting there waiting to be delivered to the table. My guess would be an understaffing problem.
The thing is, no matter what, considering the length of time it took to get our food… no one ever said anything. No, «sorry for the wait» or anything like that.
So, a pepperoni pizza, 3 drinks and two dinner dishes. How much do you think that would be? $ 60 for all of this (including the tip). I would’ve enjoyed the local pizza joint just as much… and I can get a entrée salad and pizza for one for about $ 11. Old Chicago, if you want me to come back, I need a much better overall experience and excellent food for the price.

Atmosphere is always upbeat at OC tonight e sat in the dining room waiter was friendly and attentive during our stay I ordered the chopped salad and Stu had the meat me calzone the app we chose was the pepperoni rolls they were delicious the salad was crisp and flavorful
The only downside was the timing the app wool longer than usual and was quickly follows by our entrée certainly manageable

Clean place, chain type food nothing too risky. Taste like a Pizza Hut or Pappa johns. Very nice waitress and extra helpful.

Great beer selection, good pizza and a pretty chill atmosphere. The late night happy hour is very good for both beer and food. If you are expecting the best pizza of your life, go somewhere else. If you are looking to hang out, grab some beer and hang out with some friends, this is a great place.

This is our go-​to place when visiting my sister in Apple Valley. Outstanding craft beer selection for this beer snob, and the World Beer Tour is a nice perk. I highly recommend hitting up happy hour. The happy hour food menu is great! There are a lot of things to choose from, and the prices are impressive. I suggest the personal pub pizza and the Greek salad. Service is always friendly. Kids menu is impressive, too. It gets busy during home games, do plan ahead. Bathrooms are always clean and I like the simple décor. My hubby and I usual avoid chains to support small business, but we make an exception here!

This is my first time stopping here for Happy Hour. The ambiance is good for essentially a sports bar and about an average number if customers for this time of the day. Happy hour beers are well-​priced as are the appetizers. The jalapeño cheese pretzels are incredible. I’ll definitely be back to try something else. Then again these are so good, I might have to have them again.

My Fiancé and I just got done eating there, and we loved it! We were outside on the patio, so we didn’t get to experience the actual atmosphere inside. The staff was friendly and quick. The food was great! My fiancé had the Bacon Cheeseburger (Medium Rare) and it was cooked PERFECTLY! I had the Traditional Club Stromboli and it was great! We started off with the Sicilian Pepperoni Rolls and since my Fiancé works in pepperoni he is VERY picky and he really liked them. All in all 5 stars! Would have been 4.5 since we didn’t eat inside but it looked nice and we chose to eat outside.

Maybe it’s because we came late around 10 pm but service was very slow for us. The spaghetti was excellent and filled my boyfriends cravings. The food was yummy except when it came to dessert.
When I order a cookie I expect a yummy moist chocolate chip cookie but my cookie was crumbling and dry. The only thing moist was the chocolate chips. I expect it to be because we were the last customers. It was hard to get a hold of our waitress. I am hoping that when we come during Theodore of the evening next time experience would be much better. No complaints about food otherwise.

And now, after more than a year, I find they are apparently using white bread dough instead if pizza dough. Undercooked, falling apart, nit crispy bread dough. And the inside if this Meat Me Calzone? Warming, congealed, watery (not greasy/​oily).
Need to find a new place for calzones.

Not bad !! This is always a favorite when we can’t decide. We love the tour and the foods always great. Except the artichoke dip. :/​pizza, beer and wings are super great. I would always recommend this place
