Fantastic vegetarian food. Flautas were fantastic, burrito was yummy, veggie side did some magic with greens(usually hate them), and service was great. Good craft beer on tap too. In town on business, almost makes the cold weather tolerable. Yummmmmm.

Mediocre and overpriced. There’s really nothing to get excited about, Nice and attractive atmosphere however.

Chose this restaurant somewhat based on reviews but also on curiosity about the fusion part and Latin mystique. So we headed out to celebrate my wife’s B-day, day after Christmas there. The big ceilings make the place boomy and reverberate perhaps a bit much and it has a Mex-horns feel I think more than a Latin Samba, flamingo, guitar music ambiance that I expected. But although those could have added a significant layer for the immersive impact, the food was the hit for us to be sure. We had a house specialty and a more typical dish: the Filet Osorio and the grilled Mahi fish tacos. After a fruity moscato and blood orange martini that were a perfect prelude with crisp chips and a mild tasty salsa, the order came out timely. The tacos were ample and flavorful and the Mahi, moist and flakey. The Filet I ordered med-rare was –perfectly done; the crab-Nopalitos /cream sauce really, so outstandingly savory, yikes, when merged with each tender-petite filet forkful, did that eye-roll back in my head-thing, I’ve got to admit. The Latin-rice side and saluted vegetables enhanced it even more! We finished up with a for-2 fried ice cream dessert that was just enough for us. All in all, a memorable meal– and perhaps — a sooner return on a curious quest for more!

As a picky food snob, I’m willing to endorse this place with five stars. The flavors and freshness are blowing my minddddddd… It’s a lovely place to take family and friends for a special treat. The dishes are very generous, so come hungry. I highly recommend the tortilla soup and mango guac!

Wow. Just wow! The chef obviously knows flavors and combines his knowledge of food with seasonings! Talk about original food, flavor, and deliciousness!!! 5 stars doesn’t even express the«awesome-ness» of our meal! Seafood nachos– to die for! Lobster enchiladas was fantastic, my mom had the seafood burrito(after the nachos, we wanted more seafood!!) she absolutely loved it! Well worth the trip, and definitely will be back during our next visit in the area!(Oh, btw, our service was excellent too! She was great, made suggestions, and was patient with our indecisiveness) thanks for the 10 star experience ;)

OMG! The flavors tickled my taste buds! I had the Osorio filet with red potatoes and their vegetable medley. Generous crab meat over a superb filet mignon. My first visit to the area and Unilocal helped me pick a winner. The chips and salsa are a cut above as well. Go there! You will find something new and delicious. Great service as well.

My current favorite dinner spot in Appleton! We’ve consistently had very good experiences at Osorio’s — kids, husband and I all always enjoy our selection. The drinks and chips/salsa are addictive, so beware. My omnivore husband’s favorite dish is the chicken poblano — it beckons him to return. As a vegan, my options are more limited but they are very accommodating to make vegetarian dishes vegan-friendly. My favorite is the veggie fajita. Theirs is the best in the area, as they go beyond the typical veggies and include a flavorful mix including black beans and spinach.

There were some interesting combinations and fusion is certainly the name of the game here. It was not tapas(as several websites had tagged it) so be aware of that if you are looking for it. The service was very polite and was quick. I ordered several of the appetizers and drinks because I was not very hungry. The queso Blanco was very good, but nothing special. Actually, that’s about how I felt with most of the things I ordered. I would eat here again, but would not go out of my way to do so.

Polite and efficient service, fresh quality ingredients, and I recommend getting the poblano rice as a side — really good!

Very good Latin fusion. Went there the other night and had their delicious Pollo Parado and some loaded queso dip. I would definitely recommend this place.

HAYQUERICO!!! Osorio’s delivers a most delicious combination of flavors, never too much, with just enough kick to keep you coming back! The fish tacos were well made, soft, juicy, and to die for! Oh btw, the wrap with Tequila sauce is bad ass. The tortilla soup was also quite succulent with a crispy toping of fresh fried tortilla. I would be more than delighted to come back to this place any time and recommend it to my friends. I was born and raised in Latin America, and I have eaten Mexican food in the mother land. This is one of the few times outside of Mexico I have had Mexican food that tasted as if I were in the home of a friend eating good food. **Praises to the chef for knowing his stuff, making this a most delightful meal, and to Shae being such a sweetheart as our server.**

Chose Osario’s for a special dinner with our daughter and her fiancé. After providing our food preferences, the Chef prepared a delightful four course meal with wine pairings. We we not disappointed. Our table was in an alcove for privacy and we were very pleased with the service and our overall experience. I highly recommend Osarios.

We really like this place. Owners and staff are friendly and engaging. My wife likes the cucumber chile margarita. The fish tacos are good. The tortilla soup with chicken is awesome, and stays crispy while eating since the sauce is added to the ingredients at your table. Chicken nachos are tasty as well; I get without chili on them. Happy hour has some decent options.

We did a birthday dinner here. My mom called ahead to do a wine pairing — chef’s choice on the menu. The four course meal we had was delicious and the wine fabulous. They paid attention to detail and explained each wine to us, and the chef visited our table to explain each course. The meal definitely had a Latin spice to it. Would visit again to do the wine pairing!

Great place with excellent Latin food and friendly, attentive service. The signature margarita is amazing and they are not shy on their pours. The food is always good and the serving size is good. Now they are talking about having a mariachi band in once a month. I highly recommend coming here for dinner.

Inside out burrito and a lot of local Wisconsin brews on tap. Good solid place that is clean and the owner who is frequently there very cool. Good stuff.

First off, the food was really good. If I was rating only on food quality, this would get at least a 4. I had the JambaLatin. I love Jambalaya and this was a nice take on it. It was excellent. Our server was very nice, extremely laid back. He was attentive, but that was probably because nobody else was there at 7PM on a Saturday night. The food took longer than it should have to come out as did the first martinis(since literally two other tables were there) but it was worth the wait. There are issues with the décor and feel of the place. Carpet should not be in any restaurant, it was basically just one big empty room, and did not have a cozy feel. These are all attainable changes. Perhaps get vinyl flooring and then add a few things to break up the space in the middle of the restaurant(Fountain, short wall with cool latin colors and design, etc). This place has so much potential since the food is really good(and the logo is really cool). With a few minor tweeks to the décor and feel of the place, this could be a very attractive restaurant to go to when you want unique food with a latin twist. Here’s to hoping Osorio’s Latin Fusion focuses on what they can improve to become the restaurant they are capable of becoming!

My last service here was disappointing. the food remained top notch but our server was sub-par. She rarely checked on us(a large party of 6) and was half hearted at best. This was extremely disappointing as we had chosen this restaurant as host/ess pay res I am happy to support local, pay reasonable price for good food but service is integral to the experience. It may be a lack of training or an apathetic waitress, either way it dampened the evening. A pleasure to experience! The staff on top of their game, the food is tip top. Fresh, flavorful and unique. Great care was taken with my partners gluten free vegetarian food. (He has Celiacs Sprue and Gluten is dangerous to him.) Our picky 12 year old niece was happy with everything. The Basil Cucumber Martini is Delicious!

Too bad other reviews are not as positive. I really did enjoy the food at Osorio’s. It has a different twist on other Latin food. I really liked the appetizer we had — Ceviche. Also, the black and white whitefish was excellent, with the vegetables and Parmesan potatoes. Also, had a fantastic«spicy» martini — give it a try(has jalapeño but cooled with a mulling of cucumber — very nice mix!). The only feedback I would have is the ambiance — nice overall, but the middle of the restaurant is too open and«loud.» They need to find a way to make the overall feel more cozy and not as open — match what they are trying to deliver.
