The Leg Lamp Lodge

Nice bar with good atmosphere and music. The bartenders are attractive and dressed nice. Like the Leg Lamp logo, the female bartenders are wearing fishnet stockings, which adds a subtle sexiness to their classy dress.

Best bar in town! I little of everything for every type of person. Dancing, foosball, good music, pool, comfortable seating, shuffleboard, and decent drinks. A must hit bar for every downtown evening.

What can be more fun than combining the Wisconsin Northwoods and the Leg Lamp from A Christmas Story? In Appleton, not much!
An open, one flight of stairs up from the street place the Leg Lamp Lodge is a hoot! The space has tables, foosball tables, dart boards and couches for lounging. The bartneders are friendly and wear fishnet stockings just like the leg lamp. Drink prices are reasonable and the music is pure 80’s MTV. An all around fun spot to spend an hour or four!

This place is a welcome change from the sports bars that line College Ave. Kitschy, campy, hilarious. Wicker furniture, leg lamps, weird taxidermy, wood paneling… campy-​ugly décor. Dart boards, a pool table, small dance floor. Booths and tables, and a section with couches.
The female bartenders dress like prostitutes, but I think it’s a uniform since they all were dressed pretty much the same.
Relatively cheap drinks, nothing fancy or special here. It’s the atmosphere that sucks people in and keeps them there. A fun place to go for drinks that is never super-​crowded and isn’t full of annoying jocks.
