Our first take out order and it was yummy! Chicken Chow Mein, General Chicken and Pot Stickers! We will def. be ordering again.

The mongolian beef was like beef strips with ketchup and not a glazed flavored sauce. But worse yet, we asked for a spoon(for the baby), straw and water refill. We got for 3 people, 8 straws and no spoon, no water. I had to go get a spoon after 7 minutes and also found the water jugs to drink by the bathroom entrance(yikes!). But I got my own water too. Not very friendly and if you ask, the older lady seems quite upset if you ask for anything(owner? manager?) Then, get the bill and there was an extra charge of $ 3.00($ 1.50 per plate) because of «high cost of meat» when there was not even more than ¼ of a cup of meat with room left over. They never posted it on the menus, they never mentioned it and only on a piece of paper tagged at a 90 degree angle that you have to search for, you can see a hand written note stating such. They charge w/o telling you, what else are they putting in their food? I don’t trust this place and never again. Too bad…

Have gone to panda many times, the quality has slipped a bit. The sweet and sour pork sauce was different, a little on the bitter side. They are using a lesser cut of pork too.

Seaweed egg drop soup is fantastic! If you want something fresh, healthy and love the taste of ginger, this is the soup for you. Tried a few more dishes(sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef, mushu chicken and veggies and tofu dish) and everything was delicious and seasoned well. Service was above average even during a busy night(Friday).

Consistently outstanding. They don’t miss a beat from telephone reservations to seating, drinks, ordering, and serving. Fresh, hot, quality food. We enjoyed pot stickers, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and chicken chow mien. Presentation and taste are unequaled. Excellent value as well.

This is the best Chinese cuisine I have eaten thus far. The lemon chicken was perfect not too much batter and the sauce was well balanced. The combination fried rice and chow mien compliment our entrée well. I recommend the next time you craze Chinese food to give this place a go and you will not disappoint especially with the Super Bowl approaching.

This is definitely our new go to Chinese spot. The combination fried rice was our favorite. The chowmein was fresh and the lemon chicken was delicious. It was quiet and the service was a bit slow, but definitely worth it. The quality of the food is exceptional.

My family and I have been eating at panda inn, for 25 years. We have loved there food and the service they have provided all through these years. I have to write this because I am in complete disbelief of the experience we just went through with them. We ordered the war wanton soup, fried wanton’s, lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork and chow main. Shortly after wet picked up and started to eat the food we notice that the meat in the wanton’s in the soup was not right, and the sweet and sour sauce tasted like banana, the egg rolls were two different types and did not taste right either, we had sweet and sour sauce on the lemon chicken. Basically this was not the standard we were used to nor was the meet ok at all. We called to let them know and they tried to tell us they did the banana flavor as a special treat(not joking at all here), the were extremely defensive and rude. After 10 mins, on the phone they said to bring food back in and get refund. We asked for it after their behavior on the phone to us. When my husband walked in the woman behind the desk told him that we are being put on the BAD name list and she circled our name and number. There was no sorry for the issue, what can we do, nothing but absolute rude behavior. She told my husband the food now had to be thrown away and it was our fault. She was even refusing to give my husband the rest of his change. Her husband also said that there was a new cook, which his wife then lied about saying no its the same as it has always been. We are so upset that the same people that have served us for all these years, which by the way privously we have had nothing negative happen, we’re treating us like this. A bad name list. If you even have one of those that should tell you something as a business owner. I understand if people were returning food constantly but we again in 25 years have had nothing happen. I am so upset that we have supported a business that would treat there long, consistent, loyal customers in this manner. We will not be returning to panda inn.

I’ve been coming to Panda since I was a kid and everything is still as good as it always was. I wish we had a Chinese place this good in San Diego but at least I get to eat here when I come back to visit. My faves are the shrimp sizzling rice soup and the shredded beef szechwan style. Everything is awesome though so you really can’t go wrong!

Tried the eggplant with Peking sauce and the vegetarian chow fun. Never was able to get the spicy condiments that I repeatedly requested.(Stomp)

So good! Staff is very friendly, professional, and polite. Awesome Gong bao chicken and chow mein! In waiting for my pick up order it seems as though at least 5 regular customers came in, in which the woman at the front counter knew all of their names. Will definitely be going back again soon!

Waitress very polite and attentive. The location is clean and conveniently located between Bank of America and CVS in Aptos, CA. As I described in the picture(for my Unilocal Tip) this is a quiet and peaceful location and the setting with hanging privacy beads lends to the library like quiet zone. Found the decorations very much like a Japanese sushi restaurant, but the food and waitress were very Chinese, so other than the decorations, this is not an Asian fusion place which I really dislike; nope it’s a Chinese restaurant. The food is good. Especially the potstickers. I found the potstickers very good and one of the best I have had in the area. The hot and sour soup was their weak link and the reason I am not going 5-stars. The soup was overdone with some kind of starch making it almost gelatinous. I also ordered the Generals’ Chicken and found it only slightly above average and the accompanying egg rolls very poor. But overall, the potstickers, atmosphere, abundant parking in the shared private lot, and attentive staff win the day for just a 4-star rating. Fix the soup, and the vegetable spring rolls and this can be a 5-star rating for sure. Thank you Panda Inn.

Great take out. Fast service on take out. We ordered generals chicken. The best part is they put the sauce separate, it kept the chicken nice and fresh. The egg fu young BBQ pork was also yummy. The veggie fried rice was my kids favorite. The hot an sour was good but not like the normal hot and sour.

Check your to-go orders. I ordered three different items. I got home to discover I had a carton of one, two cartons of another, and none of third. Food is pretty good otherwise.

Huge portion sizes and delicious food! My buddy and I stopped here for dinner after a long day, we were starving. We ended up ordering the General’s chicken, Peking style sweet & sour pork, veggie chow mein and veggie egg fu yung. He also got hot & sour soup and some rice. It was all absolutely amazing. Each dish was bursting with flavor and there was a beautiful crunch to the chicken and pork that so many chinese food places lack. We ate way more than we expected, finished off all of it except some of the chow mein and the rice, but what we ordered could have EASILY fed a family of four and it was under $ 50(not including tip)! Great service as well, friendly staff who were very attentive to our needs and actually held a conversation with us for a bit while we waited on our food. Awesome place to eat. If you’re ever in or around Aptos stop in here, it’s well worth it!

Solid Chinese food. My family and I come here every now and then and are rarely disappointed. It is actually one of the better Chinese places in Santa Cruz county and deserves at minimum 4 stars. As for the few bad reviews panda has received let’s all be real… every restaurant makes mistakes now and again so it’s unfortunate they went on one of the very few off days they have or they were just rude customers and got what they deserve.
