I have been seeing (no pun intended) Dr. Kajikawa for over two decades. He is the most honest and professional eye care specialist I have ever known. He has taken excellent care of my whole family, including my elderly mother before she passed away last year. Dr. Kajikawa is thorough in his exams and answers all my questions with honesty and sincerity. He never tries to oversell me on frames. Indeed, he often suggests using my older frames at the risk of losing a sale for some new ones. He always has my best interest at heart. I drive over 60 miles to visit him annually and will continue to do so. I cannot recommend him any higher.

Before I started seeing Dr. Kajikawa, I had some very negative experiences with optometrists, and I was at the point when I avoided scheduling my annual eye exams. That all changed the first time I entered Dr. Kajikawa’s office. Dr. K. is the perfect balance of professional and personable. He and his staff always do a thorough examination of my eyes, explain everything to me, answer all my questions, and make recommendations on frames and lenses with my best interests (and budget) in mind. I have been going to Dr. Kajikawa for almost two decades now and would not consider going elsewhere. He is the best, and I highly recommend him!

Not good enough, To earn my business, dr is just ok the staff is really unfriendly bottom line rude, the office is old, everything is old at this arcadia office.
They definitely DO NOT make you feel welcomed. Still looking for a good eye dr.

First time visit, staff was very pleasant and helpful. Dr Kajikawa was very thorough and took the time to explain what he was doing and answered all of my questions.
At the end of the appointment, I was not pressured to purchase glasses there (even though they seem to have large selection of frames). This was most appreciated as my previous optometrist soaked me for $ 300 for glasses (which is why I switched in the first place). Very pleasant experience, I will definitely return for future appointments.

Dr. Kajikawa has been my OD for about a decade now and I would never go anywhere else! He and his staff are always smiling, always welcoming, and always professional. I had major contact lens issues a few years ago, and he so patiently helped figure it all out even though it took a few months and varying solutions. He is attentive and thorough.

I have been a patient of Dr Kajikawa’s for over 16 years. He has a wonderful staff, kind, courteous and knowledgable.
Dr. Kajikawa is so efficient, thorough and works through my eye issues (my eyes are complicated, I have astigmatism in each eye as well as keratoconus). I know my vision issue can be challenging to treat. He is able to provide me with amazingly sharp sight for my ever changing vision. I have other eye docs available to me, but choose to stay with him because I know he will do everything he can do give me the best sight possible. I couldn’t ask for a better OD. I would give him 10 stars if I could!

I was recommended to Dr. Kajikawa by a doctor who retired and that was 15 years ago and I will continue to see Dr. Kijikawa as my eye doctor. He really has the best interest of his patients in mind and provide a thoroughly professional and pleasurable experience. As a patient of advanced myopia, I know how much work it is to an eye doctor. But Dr. Kijikawa could solve all my problems and make me feel at home in his office. He is the best! I recommend him highly.

Dr. Kajikawa has been my eye doctor for about 20 years. He takes the time to understand your situation and what you need from your glasses. I have several pairs of glasses for different purposes. They range from reading glasses, progressive focus for computer use, bi-​focal safety glasses for work in the garage and glasses designed for 20⁄20 vision when I am driving race cars. In each case, Dr. Kajikawa fine-​tuned the prescriptions so that my glasses were perfect for the situation. I highly recommend Dr. Kajikawa for his professional manner and creativity in solving vision problems.

Dr. Kajikawa spends a great deal of time with his patients to ensure that you get a thorough eye exam. He has a friendly and professional manner and communicates well. He recently saw my Mom after her physician was unable to properly diagnose her eye problem. Dr. Kajikawa diagnosed her properly and provided a treatment plan that provided her immediate relief and she is 100% improved. I recommend Dr. Kajikawa without any reservation.

I was dragged to see Dr. Kajikawa by my wife 3 yrs ago and as an almost 40 yr old man I hate going to do stuff like seeing an eye doctor… or any other doctor for that matter.
Anyhow I’m writing this review because today was my annual exam and as usual it was a very convenient and pleasurable experience.
I’ve only been to 3 – 4 different O. D’s in my life but by far he is the most thorough and uses hi-​tech equipment to check your eyes.
The staff is professional and attentive and I would highly recommend his office to anyone who needs a good O.D.

Staff had attitude from the very start of my call. Sorry, but how am I supposed to know that this doctor works in two locations. I called the Arcadia location and she seemed to have a problem with me calling this location while the doctor was at the Alhambra location. Anyways, I decided not to schedule an appointment.

Dr. K has been my optometrist for probably 20 years. He was also my husband’s optometrist. Dr. K’s office helped me tremendously when I had a detached retina some years ago. His staff immediately arranged for me to see a specialist and were instrumental in saving the sight in my eye. On occasion, I have walked in the office without an appointment and have always been tended to. He’s competent and very patient especially since I’m so touchy about having drops put in my eyes, He and his staff were very caring when they learned of my husband’s passing. So, I was recommended to Kajikawa by my wife. He works out of two offices, the this one and one in Alhambra near the In-​N-​Out. My wife’s family have been going to him for years.
Only within the last 3 years did I start going to him. He is unbelievable. The first time I went to him he gave me the most thorough exam in my life. I spent over just over an hour in his office.
Very easy to speak to, he explains things to you so you can understand, and the best thing I’ve found so far, «Asian fit» glasses. Yes you can now get glasses that can fit right on our flat Asian noises.
