Oh man. If you’re looking for a healthy joint, this is NOT it. This is food-coma-inducing, greasy goodness! I can’t believe it took me this long to try it. That beef barchetta is incredible! Roast beef, grilled onions on a bed of crispy french fries and garlic mayo spread complete with au jus. This was AMAZING! Comes with a side of regular or spicy fries and spicy means SPICY! It’s a very large sandwich that my husband couldn’t even finish. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside both in the sandwich and on the side. Fridge with bottled drinks, nothing fountain. Only downside is how oily and stuffy it was in house, but I see that most people tend to take their sandwiches to-go. I can’t wait to come back to try the other burgers/sandwiches on the menu!

3 stars for me, This was first time here for me. Very small place with counter only bar stool sitting. I noticed in some reviews saying no water for customers but they did have a water cooler in corner so maybe they put after they saw review. So a total of 14 people could sit inside, it is very small. Note it does have a sign that they prepare food fresh at order so no changes after order has been put in due to time it takes to make meal. That is kind of nice but if was packed it would take a while. We had 5 of is today and it did take a little bit of time to get food but was still good. I had a pastrami/burger, i did enjoy it but it did have a little to much salt on the patty, i would ask for leas salt preferably. Other than that it was good. Had some spicy fries and thought it was a good portion cuz there food is on the larger size so well balanced with burger and fries. There didn’t seem to be any combo so fries separate. No kids menu either. All jn all was good would like to try a couple other things too and see how they are. There was other stuff that looked good too. Enjoy

Food was good(got Chicken Little’s Brother) but service was slow, they didn’t have water available for customers, and servers weren’t that attentive to customer needs. Might go back but only for carry out.

Not what it used to be that’s for sure. Portions for fries a lot smaller. The amount of butter/mayo has increased. Service by staff has worsened. I asked for the check 10 times before anyone helped. Still a tasty burger but tbh was feeling a bit sick after. They also forgot a customer’s order when I was there…

Huge, juicy sandwiches with bold flavor and hilarious names. You can’t get any better than this for sandwiches.

Was pretty good, burger was decent, seasoned fries pretty much what you would expect. No complaints other than they always seem to be closed!

I loved this place’s sandwiches but today is different, I’ve been waiting for over 25 minutes and counting… turns out they took my order but didn’t actually start making my sandwich until now… food is 5 stars, waiting is minus zero, so average 2ish

Oh how this place has gone 180 since the change in ownership :( Food: The prices are roughly the same-about $ 9-$ 13 for a burger but the quality has definitely gone down. I ordered the Wacked Stack which was about $ 10 but the burger was not like I remembered it. I remember they used to make their own bread(it was nice and fluffy) but the bread I received tasted like someone forgot to close the bag… it was pretty tough. The bacon that came with the burger was way overcooked and dry. I saw the guy pull it out from underneath the grill so it was obviously pre-made. Lastly, the burger patty itself was dry and unseasoned. On the bright side, get the spicy fries. They are BOMB! Service: The best thing about this place now is the service. The guy who served me was very attentive and nice. After ordering he told me and my family to help ourselves to beverages in the fridge. Not sure if free drinks is a thing here now but thank you! Ambience: There are not tables here, only counter seating. AAAAAndddddd theres no AC. I was sweating balls in there and the spicy fries did not help. All in all, I don’t think I will be coming back here anytime soon. Oh they’re open on Mondays now too if anyone was wondering

Average sandwich joint. Way overpriced though. $ 8 for a turkey sandwich on plain white bread? Service is good as the workers are attentive. Small place, no a/c though so watch out on a hot day! Menu is so so and food is ok, nothing to write home about.

I really enjoy this place!!! I am not sure why people are complaining about the hole-in-the-wall ambience. If you woule like to go to a bougey restaurant and over pay for a sanwdhich then this is not the place for you. The service here is amazing! Marissa and chris are very sweet and attentive. The food does take some time so prepare to wait a little because they do make everything fresh! Their meat is very juicy and tender, they grill their onions, toast the bread and put on all the toppings with love. The standard burger is my go to but my dad tried the burger with the habenero chile inside and it was very tasy. I do not recommend for the light chile eaters. Their spicy fries are very good as well, althought the regular fries also come with a similar seasoning. I recommend this place for your next meal :)

Dang… This place actually got better with new owner. I have been coming here for a few years and I was concerned about ownership changes. Not too worry it’s all good in the hood of Arcadia. Try the agent orange and hold on. New owner is Chris and he’s super friendly. Will come back.

Three(3) stars for the food only. The ambiance … Well let me tell you. THEAMBIANCE: So this is a hole-in-the-wall, run down, no AC(yes, no AC) venue. You walk in and you wonder if you accidentally walked into the back of the house. White walls, one large bulletin naming the food, and a bar overlooking the cooking area. There are no tables and there is no public restroom. You can hear a loud fan but throughout your visit you start sweating. My legs were hot. There is a soda storing machine and that’s about it. It wasn’t even about how the place looked all that much to me more than the weird vibe I got from the staff. When I walked in two(2) parties were closing out and thereafter I was the only patron. I looked at the menu and an older, skinny Vietnamese man asked me if I was ready. I let him know I needed a couple more minutes. The girl working the area comes up to me and asks if I’m ready but I wasn’t because the man had just walked away. One(1) minute later the man comes over again to ask me if I’m ready… Like, really… I was annoyed to say the least. As I continued to scout the menu I was also observing the interactions between the man who at that point I figured to either be the manager or owner and the two(2) young people behind the counter making the food. There was an apparent disconnect. The girl would ask the man a question and the man would respond«yeah» or look away. The«yeah» wouldn’t even answer the question. The girl had an eye-rolling attitude towards the man. The guy who was the other«cook» also looked like he disliked his job. They both reminded me of and looked like teenagers who were just there to make a buck and get the hell out of there. The man felt pushy and like a micromanager. It was an uncomfortable environment AND I was hot. THEFOOD: I ordered the sandwich called the Beef Barchetta. It was the most popular one according to the girl and it had fries in it. The sandwich came out bigger than I had expected. It was huge! It reminded me of a French Dip or Philly Cheesesteak. The fries were on point. It was good! I was handed ketchup and spicy ketchup. The sandwich comes with a dipping broth. No complaints with the food. I enjoyed it. THETIPS: Wash your hands before you walk in. If you’re dining in I would recommend a cold sandwich if it’s a sunny day. Next time I’ll take my food to-go.

So I’ve probably been passing my place daily for half my life and I’ve only noticed it recently. It’s hidden around the corner from a busy street and it closes at 3:30, which made me wonder if anyone even still operated it. I finally stopped by and walked in. The layout is a giant L-shaped bar counter with the kitchen set right in front of you, so don’t worry germaphobes you can watch everything. The menu was separated by cold, hot, and weird sandwiches. A lot of the sandwiches already sounded unique(both in name and in ingredients) so it gave me the chance to try something wacky. I got the Rev Pablo Pastor which is chicken seasoned with 5 spices, pineapple, chipotle mayo, bacon on a bun. I was a bit surprised that they put«we use fresh chicken so it’ll take some time». Maybe some rude Unilocaler complained about the wait? It was about 3 hours before I could actually eat, and it was still delicious. The chipotle mayo with the spices of the chicken reminded me a bit of Ike’s dirty sauce. The chicken was moist and seasoned beautifully, while the spiciness mixed well with the slightly sweet pineapple. The sandwich was big and I was satisfied without ordering any sides. I wish I had eaten it piping hot. 4 stars, might upgrade to 5 on my next visit.

The first thing you do after a hike. EAT! My friends and I are pretty indecisive when it comes to food. While sitting in the car, we thought of a few places and one of my friend suggested stacked sandwich because she has been here before. We all agreed and we were on our way. Stacked Sandwich is a pretty small place that can probably seat 10 people. Majority of the people that I notice called in and picked up their orders and headed out. My friends and I were hungry, so we ate there. What we ordered: French Fries: They were good. Hot, crispy, and fresh. Whacked Stacked: I ordered this, it came with the burger patty w/cheese topped with pastrami, tomato, lettuce, grilled onions, and french fries. Not as great as I thought it would have been. I liked how they allowed me to request the fries on the side. Agent Orange: My friend ordered this and we split burgers, So i got to try this. I thought this one was better. This was a burger patty sitting on maybe pickled lettuce/cabbage/carrots? looks like it, I apologize if I’m wrong. Topped with grilled onions and habanero chili. It says it’s really spicy. I thought it was okay, but it did have a kick. The Standard: Didn’t get to try this but it looked simple. Just a burger patty sitting on lettuce and tomato topped with grilled onions. My friend says it was pretty bland. If the owner is reading this: maybe a suggestion with what you can do with the buns of your burgers & sandwiches. You can heat them up on the flat top grill. Parking — I think parking was in the back. We parked right in the back of this place and only saw 4 spaces. But if you go a bit further I think there was a parking lot.

Stacked has always been my goto place. Their sandwiches are soo goood. I always go for the five-o-special with french fries(extra crunchy) There’s two parking spots right outside and parking in the back too. I love coming here because of their hospitality, they’re all so nice and they treat everyone like family. It’s a very chill place but not many seats. Also if you order to go make sure to call in. The bread does get mushy if you don’t eat right away though.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Stacked is under new ownership and is a pitiful shade of what it once was. I remember when Stacked Sandwich first opened back when I was in high school — they put ads in the school newspaper, and slowly gained a loyal following with their massive burgers and sandwiches made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. My high school friends and I were regulars — many great memories were made while munching our way through enormous Wacked Stacked burgers. A few days ago, I visited Stacked again for the first time in a year or so, and when I walked in the door I immediately sensed that something was off. It was like an episode of the Twilight Zone — the place was the same, but there were small things out of place. The chalkboard that listed the fresh sandwich ingredients had some crossed out. The menu had all my old favorites, including the Wacked Stacked, but I’ve had it so many times that I noticed right away that it no longer listed grilled ortega peppers under the ingredients. I ordered the Wacked, and asked the guy at the grill, a middle-aged Asian dude, «The Wacked still comes with grilled peppers, right?» He looked at me blankly and said, «Um, no, it never has.» I knew 100% that he was wrong — I assumed he was a recently hired employee and asked him if he would let Mike(Herb, the old owner) know that his customers missed the old recipe with grilled peppers. The Asian dude replied that he was the owner of Stacked Sandwich. Suddenly everything clicked — all the weird changes now made sense. Still, I wasn’t going to write off the new Stacked right away. I was willing to give the new guys the benefit of the doubt, and hoped for something at least resembling the awesome burgers that I remembered. It was sadly not to be — the drastic decline in the quality of the food soon became apparent. Stacked burgers no longer feature the hearty half-pound beef patties that paired perfectly with their oversized buns. The new owner pulled out a stack of smaller, generic diner-looking patties and threw one on the grill. One burnt patty later, a grotesque mess that resembled a hamburger was placed in front of me. For reference, please look at this picture of a Wacked Stacked taken by Karsten P. back when Mike was the owner: large juicy patty, grilled peppers, bacon, piled high with pastrami Compare to the one I had this time: tiny burnt patty, no grilled peppers, few strips of pastrami The first is a masterpiece of burger-making, well worth the $ 10 that it cost. The second is a lousy imitation that wouldn’t meet the quality standards at a Carl’s Jr. My visit here was on Christmas Eve, and I held off on posting this review to avoid bad karma. The new owner, while inept and overly focused on cost-cutting, seems to be a fairly nice guy, and no business owner deserves to wake up to a critical review on Christmas. Experiencing difficulties in an ownership transition are not unreasonable, so here’s to hoping that the New Year brings back the Stacked that I used to know and love.

Small joint that does not have a lot of seating. In fact, there are no individual tables either, all they got is a L shaped table set up around the kitchen like a bar and stools for you to sit. There are about 15 stools, you can always order to go as well. Everything is cooked in order of placement, their menu is on the wall and they also have laminated menus as well. I ordered the Mucho Mushroom burger, and it was pretty massive, it had mushrooms(duh), ground patty, grilled onions, crispy bacon, lettuce and tomatoes, it was pretty bomb, i think probably should have also ordered the spicy fries as I saw a bunch of others ordering that as well. I will definitely be back to check out some of their sandwiches like the beef barchetta or their other great items. Only knock and I guess its a huge knock consider its the main ingredient of a burger is that the patty breaks apart way too easily, falling apart from everything else and it was sort of dry, but everything else about the burger(mainly the mushrooms and bacon) were great.

The bf was raving about this place, yet wouldn’t tell me the name to keep it a surprise. We decided to make it a sandwich weekend and stopped by Stacked on Saturday lunch after consuming hearty sandwiches at Market Grill the day before for dinner. Parking is behind the place, so look for a small driveway/alleyway to get there. Seating is pretty limited here. It’s counter seating so there’s room for probably 12 people total. If you’re with a large group, good luck finding seating together. But you can order to go though! We snagged a seat after 5 – 7 minutes of waiting(not bad!) and ordered one of their staples, the Beef Barchetta, and tried something new, Sweet Southern Swine. The Beef Barchetta is pretty much roast beef french dip with fries. While yummy and delicious with the au jus, I felt like something was missing in the sandwich. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I felt like it was missing a flavor. Definitely no greens in this sandwich for those looking for a well-rounded sandwich. I actually enjoyed the Sweet Southern Swine more. It had the right amount of smokey flavor from the pulled pork and the cole slaw worked out pretty well with the sandwich. Cards are accepted for those light on the bills.

Came by here last Saturday for lunch with my husband. I have had this place bookmarked for quite some time and since we were in the area, figured we would finally check this place out. We were lucky to grab a parking spot right on the street(there is a parking lot in the back though) and walked right into this place. This place is pretty small and is only counter seating(probably enough room for 10 or 11 people to sit, bar style). The seats go around the small open air kitchen(nice that you can smell and see your order cooking). When we first walked into this place, we were immediately greeted by the girl behind the register and plopped down 2 laminated menus for us to look at. We ended up ordering the Veggie Bomb(asked to have this served on a bun) & the Beef Barchetta. We waited maybe a total of 15 minutes(since this small team of 4 make your sandwich right when you order it, you have to be patient and give it some time to wait for your delicious meal. But you can always just call in ahead of time if you don’t want to wait). We decided to take our sandwiches to go(by the way, there are no restrooms available for customers here). The Veggie Bomb was well, pretty bombing. The garlic mayo really added just that much more to my consuming experience(nom, nom, nom). I loved the bell peppers and avocado in this sandwich and would order this again. Oh and this sandwich was pretty massive, definitely more than enough for 1 person to eat(or for 2 people to share for a lighter meal). The Beef Barchetta was DE-LICIOUS! It was a bit oily, but that is to be expected at a joint like this. It was quite surprising to have some fries in this sandwich. The sandwich tasted even better with an added amount of Sriracha. And this is a dipping sandwich(love dippable sandwiches), so the dipping sauce that came with this really gave the sandwich even more flavor. Overall, a pretty awesome place that deserves recognition for their excellent food at very fair and affordable prices. Would love to come back the next time I am craving a really filling & tasty sandwich(or burger).
