If I could leave NO stars I would!!! The other night my friends and I went into Bistro 30 for karaōke. The bar was pretty empty and only a handful of people were going up to do karaōke numorously. Well, we were there for about 1 ½ hours. At 12:30, we were abruptly told by the bartender that karaōke was over(1 hour early). He rudely grabbed the karaōke book out of my friend’s hands, as she was looking at it!!! We didn’t even get to do the last songs we had in with the dj… but we didn’t blame him for that. On top of that, our beverages were not done yet. The bartender came back around again and told us to leave. I asked if we could finish our drinks and he said«hurry up»!!! My friends and I left very unsatisfied with how we were treated.

I’m very disappointed in the direction this once-lively and enjoyable establishment has taken since changing from Yeats Pub to Bistro 30. Since«the change,» the quality of service and fun atmosphere has diminished significantly. The food is meh. The drinks are meh. But that’s all tolerable, especially for our purposes, which is karaōke on Saturday nights. Once full houses have been reduced to a smattering of people like us, who hold onto hope that the good ol’ Yeats days will return. It is clear they won’t. The turning point that made me never want to step foot in the door again was when I asked for water for some folks in our group who were driving. We got measley glasses when several other folks had bottled. The female bartender told me we had to spend a certain amount of money to get bottled water for free. What? Sayonara Bistro 30.

I love this place, the food is always great. The owner Joe always says hello and makes his guests feel welcome. The atmosphere is very comforting, a fantastic neighborhood restaurant(and well equipped bar!) that goes too often overlooked. They have a large selection of bottled beer and the ribs and wings are a super tasty game day staple. If you’re looking for a nice family place to eat and enjoy a few beers check it out! Their happy hour specials will at the very least make your wallet smile if you’re not in the mood to smile yourself :)

Definitely not the happiest place in the world. I came here with my boyfriend, not having heard or read anything about it. Although the rain may have had something to do with it, we were one of only two occupied tables in the whole restaurant during prime dining hours. Despite the emptiness, service was still really slow. We had to flag our waitress down several times. The food was just alright. I ordered the French Dip Sandwich; he ordered the Meatball Sub. Nothing special. I think the problem with this place is just that it’s ridiculously average. At least their bar selection is pretty impressive – maybe we’ll come back for Happy Hour.

This place had all the makings of a good meal. It is set up was of an Irish Pub and very nice, the Staff was friendly, the menu looked upscale and there was even a «specials» sheet. We ordered shrimp cocktail and received another shrimp appetizer(tasted very poor). For $ 10, we got 3 shrimp in a cream sauce on what looked like squashed a McDonald’s hash brown. We also both ordered meatloaf. We received a stack of poorly cooked slices of bread meatloaf(that the server said looked like a stack of pancakes) with some sort of black sauce next to it. This was surrounded by a spoonful of steamed broccoli and mashed garlic potatoes. The veggies were fine. Everything was hot. We each ate about ½ of a slice of the meatloaf and all the veggies. The shrimp cocktail showed up in the middle of the meal so we shared that. The server asked about the meal and we both told her it was poor. She said she was sorry to hear that… huh? That’s it!!! I hope you have a better experience than we.

It’s a reliable go-to place for me, hubby and our daughter. The food is always good, though we each have our favorites. Fish & chips, hamburger, BBQ beef, salads, beer on tap. Reasonably priced and predictably good.

Great neighborhood bar/restaurant. I love the name change and have always loved the ambience. Owner Joe and Chef Greg are cordial and are committed to providing great service. Cake cakes are awesome. This is an Ardmore treasure not to be missed. Nancy Gold

Overall very disappointing. Couldn’t get check right after 4 tries. Slow service. Ribs were mediocre at best jumbalaya was pretty good. This place was empty 12:30 pm Friday, now I understand why.

The food is great and the service is very friendly and they know the menu. The burgers are a must. They grind filets and cook it to perfection. It’s also a good place to take kids. It’s very much a neighborhood joint. The staff knows the regulars and if you’re there a second time, they remember who you are.

I come to Bistro 30 every Wednesday night with my knitting friends. We come at 6:30 and stay until about 9:30. They are so accommodating. Steve, our waiter, has our drinks ready when we walk through the door. We eat in dribs and drabs, some when they come in, some later in the evening. Steve just keep coming around and takes our orders when we want to eat. He gives us separate checks, doesn’t complain when some of the ladies are whiney and annoying. People come in and can’t believe there are knitters sitting in the window. Even my husband come in for dinner, watches whatever game is on.

This is my first time at Bistro 30. Although I am not a big seafood eater, I was able to find the sirloin burger and fries quite delectable. And had it not been for our wonderful waiter, I think I would have scarfed down the plate and silverware. Our waiter was great — wonderful personality and enthusiastic about his job. The one star that I left out was for the over abundance of seafood that I noticed on the menu. I realize that everybody likes fish/seafood, I am not a fan and I know that many people are allergic. Other than that, it would have been a 5 start experience. I hope to go back to try more of their non-seafood entrees. Great time; great experience.

Dearest Husband, Darling Son and I went back to Yeats… er…Bistro 30 for dinner on a Wednesday night. It was decently busy. The server arrived promptly and got drink orders. Every single special had seafood in it. *sigh* Well, no specials for us. I am allergic to seafood. I have noticed for a Pub/Tavern/Bistro they offer quite a few different seafood entrees across the board from salad to entrees to pastas with seafood. Much of it is mixed grill type stuff rather than straight fish. They seem to be going for a Louisiana style vibe. I started with the Wedge again — still not as good as the Chelsea Prime’s, missing that zing! that makes the Wedge unique. We got the Raymond’s Roasted Pig, Bistro 30 burger and Mac & Cheese. The burger is as excellent as it usually is but holy schmalzy $ 10.99 for a burger? Raymond’s Roast Pig was declared«fine», nothing amazing, nothing objectionable. The mac & cheese was probably the strongest and, at $ 5 kids meal, the most well priced dish with real cheese sauce made from more than Velveeta, a healthy portion and choice of pasta — son loved that. Fries are still those pre-battered foodservice kind, nothing to write home about, just adequate. Service was adequate, slightly off timing, drinks went dry. The server seemed to have a trainee with her — could not have been an expediter because he didn’t expedite anything. We’ll be back only because it’s super convenient(like a block from our house) but mostly for the burger and mostly I think for lunch when the burger’s not $ 10.99.

Same atmosphere as previous name… Yeats. Same menu basically. Some changes here and there but basically the same. I have had lunches here before when i lived in Pa. their roast beef with aujus(extra) is good, beef is tasty, with the roll. The fries are good, not that over cooked in oil thats been sitting there for a week taste. when i do come back and visit the parents i do want to give their somewhat newer menu a try. Came in for a halfer(harp and guinness) and it was dark and dead, maybe at most 5 customers, that and maybe cause its a tuesday night. Bartender was cool with me, gave me a perfect combo. just the right amount of guiness and harp. Man was a veteran at this, patient and he let the two beers do its thing. I must say i enjoyed this pint, but not enjoying the game i/we were watching(Flyers getting owned by the rangers. AGAIN) That is like the perfect bartender. gets involved with the customer, reflects his anger with the team as i did. Its in a tough spot to get alot of business cause of the other bars in the surrounding area. Has a little more class we might say compaired to a Brownies or an Erins(been to both plenty of times) More for the surrounding locals who want to just relax and get a pint, or drink of choice, not worry about the youngins. At my age i prefer this i guess, i did all that nonsense and now i just want to enjoy a beer, or a whiskey. maybe a bourban. or all of the above without some idiot bumping into me. Other than it being a little dark inside, because again it was a tuesday and closing time is 10 pm. The place is clean and Its located next to the Napa parts store, so parking at times could be tricky My review/rating will change once i hit up their happy hour. want to try their pulled chicken spring rolls, or prime rib quesadilla, plus a dollar off draught beers… soo get that guiness ready. Happy Hour is M-F 5 to 7 3.5 stars

We’ve been satisfied customers of Yeats(now called Bistro Thirty) over the years. They have a good selection of beer on tap, the dining area is comfortable and the service is fast and friendly. The food has always been pretty decent overall though nothing amazing. However, Yeats now has a new chef and a new concept(New Orleans style food) and we looked forward to trying the new menu. I had the crawfish jambalaya which was a generous portion with lots of flavorful sausage. The crawfish were a little disappointing as I was expecting something larger– they seemed like tiny frozen shrimp to me. However, the overall dish was good and satisfying, with just enough spice but not an overwhelming amount. There were leftovers for lunch. My husband had the Raymonds Grilled Pig sandwich which I tried and it was truly delicious! I’d highly recommend this menu item. The sandwich was also a large portion, but it was so good we finished it all with no leftovers! The meal was washed down with a glass of Rogue Yellow Snow IPA that was a special on tap(it was very good). Overall, we were satisfied customers and will be back to try more of the new menu. I would highly recommend that locals come and try out the new menu!
