Lowe’s home improvement is a weekly stop for us as it is most homeowners. They usually have what we need in stock without having to order it. I recently purchased a new frig, washer & dryer, all of which quit working a week apart. Yuck! Why does that always happen? You think your having a bad week until your washer/dryer blows up. Then a few days later when your out of clean underwear BOOM your frig blows up. All while your car is in the shop ANDANDAND, your entertainment system blows up! Yep. I’m burning sage in my house every day. That is some bad ju ju :( On a happier note their service & delivery was top notch! They will even give you a 10% discount if you use your Lowe’s credit card with a purchase of $ 399 or more. Last year I bought my John Deer mower from here. The lady even filled out the warranty & mailed it for me. I haven’t had one problem with it. I LOVE my John Deer! :)) We are constantly updating something at the lake-house. As spring sprung we needed a sliding door, new kitchen window, new exterior lights, ceiling fan, dining room chandelier, all of which they had in stock. The staff is usually extremely friendly, helpful & on hand to help us when we need it, except on weekends :( Saturday & Sunday mornings its like a ghost town. Hubby needed plumbing supplies to hook up the new digs & he sat patiently on the«fake» toilet drinking his coffee but no one ever came to lend a helping hand or inquire if we needed any support. I guess when it comes to the plumbing department don’t make a stink, self help only ;) I do love the garden center in the spring. They carry tons of beautiful flowers, plants & shrubs. However, I found that their mulch, plants & garden supplies are more expensive than Home Depot so I usually shop Home Depot for my garden supplies. However, the pool supplies at Lowe’s are way better than what Home Depot carries. Hubby also recently purchased a giant chainsaw & weed eater that he loves. We have had no problems or issues with those items either. Hurray for that! :)) I also love the paint department at Lowe’s. Valspar has become my paint of choice. They have your colors in the computer or can match your color easily. Touching up your paint & trim is now a no-brainer when you are doing updates around your house. No need to re-paint everything. My hubby is also now very impressed with the paint center. After much debate & a paint showdown he now realizes what a huge difference there is between Queen Ann’s lace & basic White. Thank you Lowe’s! That’s what I call home AND hubby improvement ;)
