Excellent fajitas, the service is a little slow and the waiters dont speak english, but that adds to the authentic mexican experience and lets you practice your spanish. The food was fresh and plentiful, and overall a good experience.

If i could give zero stars I would… I don’t even know how I can describe the service at this place. I came here with my husband after a long day at work. I ordered one fish taco and one shrimp taco. The waitress asked if I was ok with the tarter sauce in the taco. I specifically stated that I wanted it on the side because I really didn’t know what to expect when it came to their tarter sauce. When she came back the tarter sauce was mixed in with the letuce in the taco… I explained to the waitress that I specifically wanted the tarter sauce on the side. Once I said that she said maybe you can just take it off and proceeded to take my fork, into my plate and open up the taco. She started scraping off the letuce that was drenched in tarter sauce… At that point I was speechless… Like who the hell feels that comfortable to put a fork in a paying customers plate… She is so lucky I didn’t get all ghetto on her I think it was because I just couldn’t believe what had just happened. At that point I told her you know what just take it back I don’t want it… She gave me a very unpleasant look and took them back. As she walked into the kitchen I went over to let her know just to please cancel the order and she refused because they were already making them for me. Two seconds later she comes back with the tacos pushing them on me. The tacos just sat at the table as I watched my poor husband finishing up his fish soup. Call me picky but I think it’s completely unacceptable for a waitress to put a fork into your food. I will never be coming back here. Beware of the waitress with the bleached blond hair.

Last time I came here was about 6 years ago. My daughter wanted octopus tostadas so we pulled up. Mommy and daughter time. Its a cold night and I wanted something to warm me up. She ordered a octopus tostada with an horchata and I ordered a shrimp and octopus soup with a wonderful classic coke. The waitress suggested they had a new soup for the sane price but it had lots more. So I gave it a whril. She cane back a few minutes later with chips, salsa, lemons and our drinks. My daughter loves lemon so she was a happy camper with her lemon and tortilla chips. Not long after she came with the food. the tostada was big however; my daughter likes her octopus not so chopped up and in bigger chunks. Sometimes she picks out the onion and tomato but the octopus was really tender and it didn’t stop her from eating it. My soup was HUGE! Enough for 2 definately. It has whole shrimp, octopus, 3 huge clams, 2 huge oysters, and lots of fish. I added a heaping spoon full of cilantro and onions, lemon juice and lots of hot sauce. The soup itself had lots of spicy peppers but it wasn’t spicy enough for me. I ate tons of it and still had a lot left. All in all I would come back.

We gave this place a couple of tries when we first moved to the neighborhood, the food was good but the service was pretty horrible. I swear I sat down and waited over 10 minutes and no one even came by to try to take our order! They even walked by us and didn’t even attempt to serve us. This place would be great if it had better management and better servers. The ladies there are just spaced out and getting paid just to stand around.

Okay, I’m normally looking for the good in every aspect of a business I visit. I was greeted when we walked into the establishment which is good to me and for that alone I give it one star. Now, there were literally 5 people already sitting down dining and or waiting for their meals. It took us literally 15 minutes to get sitted at our table. Once in our table, we didn’t see our waiter for another 10 – 15 minutes. Good thing they offered water, chips and salsa but after 10 minutes. I ordered a dozen Oysters as an appetizer and it took 20 – 25 minutes to get them. Now, while waiting on the oysters we got our order taken. Camarones ala diabla and a shrimp cocktail couldn’t do any justice to their horrible service. We got our oysters the same time as our food which can only mean they only threw the shrimp in the microwave. Anyways, the food was good but not the best I’ve had. The service was absolute terrible. We didn’t even were checked upon us once, NOT once! Not even offered water or even if our meals were good. The place was too dark for my own taste but my second star comes simply because the oysters were fresh. It saddens me that I had to leave this review to an establishment that looks very appealing from the inside. A whole 360 turn around on their service would do them better. I consider myself a good tipper when great service and attentiveness is given but this time I was extremely disappointed. I hope that for the sake of seafood and people out there who wants to enjoy the seas/oceans best plates the service and even the food get better.

I’m sorry, but the food here was disgusting. I had a craving for shrimp tacos like the ones I get at El Siete Mares in Silverlake. I didn’t realize the names of the restaurants were different and was thinking maybe this restaurant was part of a chain affiliated with the Silverlake restaurant. It is not. Not even close. But still, it’s a seafood restaurant, so I was expecting some real shrimps, at least. What I got was some chopped up, heavily breaded, formerly deep frozen, unrecognizable fish product stuffed sadly in some barely pliable flour tortillas with thick jarred tarter sauce accompanying it. I honestly could get better shrimp tacos from Pollo Loco, and for less money too. The service was good, the waitress was very nice, and there was mariachi walking around and novellas on the TVs, but this«food» was nasty. No wonder the place was empty.

Went there with my kids over the weekend not very happy with the food… the beans must of been refried a few do dozen times and the rice was horrible. The chicken tasted like it was washed with soap. Some thing was not right with this restaurant. The server seemed like a very nice person and was very patient with us the order made it to our table on time. Maybe they have other items on the menu that are tasty I have to be brave and go back and try one day.

Great food, my husband had a shrimp cocktail and grilled garlic shrimp with beans and rice and I had the carne asada plate. We also had a couple of micholadas that were great but they cost $ 7.25 each! A little pricey but you get a lot and it’s good!

The first time I had real ceviche was here and I’ve been back on and off since. They haven’t always been perfect(sometimes the tostadas are a little off) but I can always get a good meal and a fresh lemonade.

I love sea food. Its low in calories and full of Omega 3 and protein. This place is really close to my house so my mom and I decided to go have lunch there. It was around 2 pm on a weekday and it was completely empty. They had the tvs on to some novelas which was totally fine since I enjoy watching them. Our waitress was nice and she was alone so she was able to fulfill our needs. I had the Camarones Haugados which is like Agua Chiles. They were spicy but not super spicy how I like them. They also had very little shrimp so that was disappointing. My mom has the camarones a la plancha. She said they weren’t very great and claimed that the salad was bad. We spent close to $ 50 on food we didn’t really enjoy.

I am a skeptic when it comes to Mexican restaurants with Spanish names. I understand Seven Sisters, but what does that have to do with seafood? Confused… My mom and sis frequent the salon next door and we decided to try this place out since it has an A rating and packed with locals. The menu has decent prices for seafood dishes. We shared the shrimp and octopus civeche as an appetizer, which was yummy. The octopus was nice and tender, not chewy at all. Mom and I had the chicken mole because we had seafood the day before and we were burnt out on it. My sister had the fried tilapia. Mom did not like the mole because it was too rich for her and I thought it was missing a little something because I can only compare it to my friend’s mom’s mole, which was …but then who orders chicken mole in a seafood restaurant? hehe Décor was very festive and they also have a mariachi band walking around taking requests from tables. They did not look at us at all. LOL Although our waitress could hardly speak English, she was attentive and her service was good. I mean, I get it, it is a neighborhood restaurant and catered for the local Mexicans. I would come back for some more civeche and try something new. No complaints. Check it out!

Horrible experience. My bf used to go often for the ceviche tostadas, but we are now looking for a new place to go to. We went to have our usual and they happen to have draft beer specials so we were happy. We ordered 2 modelo’s they took 10 minutes to come back to say they no longer had modelo. I asked what other beers they had on special and I cant remember what they suggested, but we agreed to have it. The waitress came back with our tostadas and the beer, but it was room temperature. It took about 10 more minutes to flag the waitress down and when I told her about the warm beer she let me know that it was because I just let it sit the. The manager came over and I told her that we no longer wanted the beer and instead preferred glasses of water. So we started our timer again…10++ MORE minutes went back before we lost patience and just got up to go pay. The manager quickly ran over to the register and was extremely nice and hoping that our experience was pleasurable. We just paid and got out of there as fast as we could. Will NOT return.
