Asked for asada, paid 5 bucks not worth it at all. Meat tasted strange. Love the horchata overall it was ok

First of all let me say wtf! Their Horchata is the worst Horchata I’ve ever had. Sorry not Sorry. I have never had an Horchata beverage that was not good. They show really consider getting the fountain drink«aguas». In the words of my bf «it taste like a ham & cheese sandwich»… Now for their tacos. Edible, not the worst but not the best. Would not recommend!

Another Mexican restaurant in my area that I’ve been avoiding all these years. I decided to try this place out while I took my lunch break at my last job, since it was pretty close and the fact that I also live less than 5 minutes away from here was a no brainer. Located at the Osborne /Nordhoff fork, it predominately sticks out among the donuts shop and liquor store that share the same parking lot with it. I remember when this building used to be a Taco Bell back in the 90s into the early 2000s before it became Que Rico. The exterior and interior looks about the same as it did back when it was a Taco Bell, but with new signage outside and with a darker look and a flat screen TV in the corner inside. Most times I’ve been here, its been either completely empty or only a couple of people eating in there. But on the bright side, the foods comes out pretty quickly and the staff here seem pretty nice. Although there is a mention about a salsa bar, there actually isn’t one or at least every time I’ve been there. The area that looks like it should have the salsas just has a potted plant. The cashier had to ask if I wanted any and then gave me a couple of small containers. Burrito — Filled with rice, meat, onions, cilantro and refried beans. Not a very big burrito, but filling. For some reason, I felt like the carne asada that comes in the burrito tastes better than the carne asada in the tacos. The first couple of times I ate here, it seemed like the meat to rice and beans ratio was pretty balanced, though my last burrito was more rice than steak =\ Quesadilla — Smaller than most quesadillas I’ve had at other taco trucks and taquerias. Filled with cheese and meat(carne asada in my case), served with a small salad covered in some sort of mayo or sour cream sauce. The quesadilla wasn’t bad overall but could have used more cheese. Taco — Filled with meat, cilantro and onions. I’ve tried them with carne asada, chorizo and carnitas, but carne asada was the clear winner among them. They aren’t mind blowing, but still are pretty good. Salsa Roja — The one time I tried it, I felt like it was just a watery sauce with red food dye in it. I definitely think the food is fine without the salsa from here. Overall, its not too bad, especially for a small chain, if you need a fix for Mexican food, but there are plenty of local Mexican taco trucks and taquerias in the area that offer better quality food for the same price or even less. I recommend this place if you really need your taco or burrito fix and you are in a hurry.

What a rip off! Ordered a burrito $ 5.49 with no rice and bean and they charge me $ 3 extra for extra meat and $ 1 each for the tomato and lettuce. WTF!!!

Great prices and the portion size isn’t bad either. Have to say the parking in the plaza can be a headache but the food here is what making me come back.

This used to be a Taco bell. Yea just another taco shop. Nothing really different then other locations though out the San Fernando valley. Small little place. Store was very clean and a nice Salsa Bar. The Horchata home made and not from a Machine.

Stop by to gets some tacos 3 min standing their until some one took my order. The cook was out side on the cell phone took him a while to start my order. After a while my order was ready the tortillas where not cook all the way. Meat did not have no flavor. Their was no cups for hot sauce and no one to ask for one. Worst service ever. Never will stop to eat their again

I came Que Rico because I was told that they had al pastor on a spit. They didn’t. Que Rico appears to be just another chain taco shop with nothing particularly special. That said, the workers were really nice and the place was clean. They also give you plastic plates for dine-in and have a decent salsa bar. I got a 3 taco combo($ 4.99) and large horchata for $ 7.81. Tacos are $ 1.35 a la carte. Carne Asada — tender but not very flavorful Al Pastor — flavorful Carnitas — a bit on the salty side but not bad Horchata tasted fresh and good. I also ordered a revuelta pupusa for $ 1.25. The pupusa tasted a bit dry — I’m not sure if they pre-prepared a bunch ahead of time, but I wouldn’t get it next time. Overall, if you’re driving by it and want a quick taco fix this place will do, but I wouldn’t otherwise go out of my way to eat here.
