So delicious and finally a place that provides a good amount of food in a breakfast wrap! My favorite was the avocado breakfast sandwich. Wish I had gotten another!

I can only speak to one item on the menu that I get each and every time — the chicken hummus veggie pita — why mess with perfection? The hummus they make on site is so good, bit more of a smokey flavor, really unique and creamy — they also sell it in half pound containers and is a real crowd pleaser. Fresh veggies, healthy lunchtime sandwich, service is prompt and friendly. When I get my hair done nearby or have errands in the area, always try and fit in a visit to this place.

There are only 2 reasons why you should ever come to AllSpice for lunch. 1) If you work right next to the place and are feeling too lazy to go anywhere else and 2) because the people who work there are really great and friendly. Unfortunately, the food is poor to mediocre at best. I got the special sandwich of the day which sounded amazing — chicken breast marinated in cilantro marinade, pepperjack cheese, jalapeño spread, lettuce and tomato. Unfortunately, what I got was a super dry piece of chicken with absolutely no hint of cilantro and the«jalapeño spread» was mayonnaise with red pepper flakes mixed in. WHAT?! In short, come here for a mediocre salad when you don’t want to walk over to Chop’t or grab a bagel in the morning. Avoid sandwiches!

This place is my go-to in the rosslyn area for breakfast and lunch. Brie and the guy with the beard are super helpful and friendly. My favorites are the avocado hoagie, the deli salad with tuna/egg salad and sweet ginger dressing, and the sunrise breakfast wrap.

Found these folks to be very friendly when I went in. A couple of the guys there explained to me how the salad system works. Think chopt but $ 3 – 4 bucks cheaper per salad. You can do customized salads or pre selected. I tried the chicken Cobb special salad today. Ingredients very fresh, huge portions(at least as big as chopt as well if not larger) This will be my go to place for salads going forward. I haven’t tried the wraps or sandwiches yet but will in the future and update accordingly. Contrary to what the name implies, this is not a Indian restaurant. It’s a deli /salad shop with a good amount of seating.

I suppose I am a glutton for punishment. I keep going back even though the food is average(and sometimes overdone) and I’ve never seen anyone behind the counter crack a smirk or smile. Today is the final straw — a lightly toasted bagel turned out to be a stale rock with enough cream cheese to choke a horse. Done. The only reason it got a second star is for location. Convenience is, well, was king.

We got two breakfast sandwiches. They were unimpressive, especially for the price. Coffee was decent but they mostly had that terrible coffee mate creamer, no soy or almond milk.

The food is nothing you can’t make better at home and the service is uninviting. No one was particularly rude, but they weren’t friendly either.

What’s not to love? Friendly service, fresh ingredients and good prices. Seating is both indoors or on a nice elevated patio that plays music in the summer time. For $ 8.00, I got a tasty warm wrap, drink and a bag of chips. Did I mention the service is fast as well? The menu offers great variety; sandwiches, wraps and salads, with a generous selection for all those picky eaters,(I’m a vegetarian), out there. I’ve also used their catering services and would highly recommend this small establishment to anyone.

Coffee and food are fine, but I’ve never really felt welcome or appreciated in the year I’ve been coming here. The staff seems averse to ever saying hello. This morning in particular, the only words spoken at me were«name?» and«want a receipt?». I’ve also noticed that breakfast sandwiches are made in the microwave, which doesn’t exude freshness. Lastly, it’s not at all uncommon for the cashier to wear the gloves used for food prep to accept your payment, then go right back to making food. I’ve started going to the Gallery Market around the corner more often. It’s more of a walk, but worth it if you like being greeted with a smile.

I’ve been going here for years. Their black bean burger is the only vegie burger in Northern Virginia that I actually enjoy. And there’s always plenty of quiet, spacious seating. But now they have made-to-order salads and special salads that are oh-so-delish. I used to walk across the river to Sweetgreen in Georgetown, which is quite a bit more expensive. No more! This is better. Thank you, AllSpice, for giving Rosslyn worker bees the much needed fast, healthy, affordable, and tasty lunch option!

I wont be back. Its an OK place but Sunrise Wrap I tried was completely bland and all I could taste was fat. it didnt have a spec of salt, black pepper or spice, which is counterintuitive given the name of the place. Positives were that coffee was good and I didn’t have to wait long at all, but the lady upfront wasn’t very friendly. There are many places around that are better like Jefferson Café across the street.

Great food and even better prices. Breakfast and drinks for family of 5 for under 30 bucks. Everything made fresh to order so you need to sit down but that isn’t a bad thing.

OK, so I’m stuck in the same office building with this place… here for training. Saw this place then wandered across the hall to give it a try. Here’s what I’ve discovered, excellent breakfast sandwiches offered on a wide variety of fresh bread, same at lunch time only those are lunch sandwiches. Lots of fresh ingredients-you can get em on a sandwich or a wrap. Wonderful, healthy salads as well as soul-warming soup selections. I recommend the chili and the seafood chowder. I also recommend the ham on 9-grain. The bacon, egg & cheese on wheat is excellent and enough to share with a friend. So here’s an interesting factoid about this lovely little café located in this nondescript office building in Rosslyn VA, it sits atop the parking garage where the Deputy Director of the FBI met in secret with journalists from the Washington Post. Yep, kiddies, the infamous ‘deep throat’ and I ain’t talking Linda Lovelace here. The action that brought down Richard Nixon’s presidency… spying on the DNCHQ at the Watergate Hotel, 18 minutes of missing oval office voice recordings, wow! Delicious food and American history, what? Stop in for a sandwich & salad, stay for the parking garage tour.

Love this place. I was in Arlington for 3 weeks and came here everyday for lunch. The salads are absolutely wonderful — full flavored, fresh, filled with delicious and healthy ingredients.

This place is fantastic. They catered my company’s lunch and people were raving. The owner Rich is a stand-up guy and he even called me to ask how the food was after. Can’t give these guys enough props. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a great place to cater your company lunch.

Since discovering this place, I eat there for lunch at least 2 days weeks. Chicken hummus veggie is my favorite(I saw other people love it too). Also love that they chop the salad up like they do at Chop’t. Has just about anything you could want for lunch and I think the prices are pretty reasonable. I hear their catering is good but I’ve never actually had it.

Not a bad little sandwich shop. The prices are good, the food is fresh, and they use quality ingredients. Some may pass it by on appearance alone but you should give hit a shot. If you are looking to be wowed with gourmet sandwiches then you may need to look further down the road. This is just a good ol’ fashioned deli. Dont get me wrong, they do have some creative options. Just nothing stuffy or strange like goose foot pâté or earth worm bisque… that would be weird.

A solid 4 stars. Fresh ingredients, fair prices, attentive staff, diverse menu. Great lunch place, especially in an area in Rosslyn with VERY limited options! I really don’t dig their cafeteria like ambiance. My only suggestion to them would be to redecorate, rebrand, and become a little more spunky. Both time I came here, I enjoyed my chicken hummus pita and make your own salad. All of the ingredients are very fresh and you can tell that their prepared ingredients are made in their kitchens. I will be back to try their hot meal options, specials, and soups. I’ll also be recommending them as a caterer for my company’s lunch meetings. Also, freshly baked cookies! Yum!

We have been coming here for a long time. It has switched management a few times but the food is awesome. The service is also great! We have used them for catering our events and they work with you on larger orders and discounted if you are a repeat customer. Ask for Richard and you are sure to get great service on catering. Food is fresh– they seem to make all their food right there and pretty quick too. Prices are comparable to others, if not cheaper. A gem of a place in Rosslyn. Will continue to come back for breakfast, lunch and catering our corp events.
