I went here often as I work very close to try different items hoping to find a gem but now I just go if I need something that is pre-packaged(their redbull is delicious). The meat quality is terrible(especially considering the prices). They have weird condiment choices for their wraps and sandwiches. In their breakfast sandwiches, I have had undercooked egg multiple times. This seems odd since it looks like they just bake a whole tray of fake eggs and cut them into squares. I swear they leave the hardboiled eggs that they sell out for days. I only say this because on a Monday they are usually great(sometimes I still would get an undercooked egg) and by Wednesday or Thursday there is runny water in the shell, the yolks are discolored and there is a funky taste. Maybe the eggs are just old… I gave them two stars because the couple that runs it seem very very kind and have great service… I just can’t get past the sub-par food.

I needed an afternoon snack or cold beverage. I stumbled upon Coffee Express and saw they had a variety of coffee beverages and then I saw, the creamsicle… think Flintstones orange push pop or a really good orange Julius. This drink didn’t leave me wanting water later but instead quenched my thirst and it was a nice afternoon snack. Oh and they also sell cold sandwiches which I don’t really care for.

Not sure why or how this place exists? It’s dirty inside, they only take cash, and their food is very bad. I got a chicken wrap and it was on a flour tortilla with old vegetables and chicken. I honestly only came here because I thought it was Rosslyn Coffee and Deli, which was recommended to me by a friend, and left the place very confused.

Food is terrible. Tuna seems like it was mixed in a blender and had been made with the lowest quality tuna several days ago. Mealy tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, on wonderbread-like wheat bread. Yuck!

Primarily a spot for local business types rushing in for morning coffee or mid-day meal, this small establishment right kitty-corner from the Rosslyn Metro station is bright, welcoming, and makes a simple yet tasty breakfast sandwich. The proprietors were super nice and a regular customer who came in for her coffee chatted us up a bit and handed out some great suggestions for when we got over to The Mall to do some sightseeing.
