Tenders Tenders Tenders!!! so so good! Very good prices. The service is a little slow when they are busy, especially after church, but it’s worth the wait. We call this place Mama Lisa, because the little asian lady that is always there looks like her name is mama lisa LOL. This is our go to place for chicken instead of KFC, church’s, Canes. The chicken tenders are always great, juicy, super crispy and very flavorful! I would give it 5 stars, but it needs a little better atmosphere inside. Its stuck inbetween a whole in the wall and a chain restuarant place. Be unique and remodel, or be a full blown whole in the wall.

Never heard of them before moving to Arlington. They are sooooo good it’s like homemade fried chicken, catfish, shrimp and lots more it’s all good. Seasoned well and SUPERCHEAP! Been wasting money at chicken express and golden chick when I can get the same thing that taste better for a way cheaper price.

Do yourself a favor and drive a little further to Lucy’s chicken on New York. They are so much better to deal with customer service and food wise. Their food is so much better and is not bland like Lisa’s. You will wait longer at Lisa’s and deal with young girls who have big attitudes and a serious comprehension problem.

Better then Church’s, KFC, Popeyes. Blows them out of the water, chicken was great, mashed potatoes and gravy, perfect, and a great coleslaw. Gonna have to try the catfish next time from what the reviews say.

The price and food were both amazing! With some soul food places they over do it with the seasonings, but this food was perfectly seasoned! I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some good down home cooking!

If your looking for the best catfish in town, this is the place. Large crispy filets cooked to order. Tasty coleslaw and hot buns make a great meal.

Good place to grab a quick bite. I would recommend trying the fried catfish. All of their meal combos are under $ 6.

Went by there a lot but never went in-always had lots of cars there. Finally we ate there and we loved it! Biggest chicken I’ve ever seen and good too! Also my b/f got the huge catfish and it was divine! Had drinks in a cooler of all kinds to choose from and tea was made fresh. Employees pleasant and patient. Sides were ok but not a big deal when the food is this good and so very inexpensive($). We will be back!

I only ever get the catfish dinner plate. Their catfish is so good and cooked fresh while in the drive through. You pay the drive thru and then pull your car up and into a parking space to wait for the fresh catfish dinner to be walked outside to your car where you have parked. It is always great catfish and my dinner plate always gets the cole slaw and green beans. The name should say, Lisa’s Chicken and Catfish. Yummy.

It was okay. The chicken tenders were pretty good. The okra was very greasy, so I didn’t eat that much of it. :(

I’m always craving fried chicken, and this place never fails to satisfy. You can tell this place is family-owned and operated from the look of things; when you walk in, you immediately see crates filled with 2-Liter soda bottles, stacked all the way up to the ceiling. Also, the«managers» are all Vietnamese. Those are just minor observations that you’ll notice. Aside from that, the food here is pretty good. I usually get the dark chicken pieces, chicken tenders, or chicken wings. The pieces are HUGE, especially compared to the tiny pieces you get from Popeyes or KFC. Best of all, the prices won’t burn a hole through your wallet, you get much more than you pay for. However, the side items such as the«rolls» and mashed potatoes w/gravy are mediocre. If you have ever tasted«instant» mashed potatoes or «instant» gravy, then you’ll know what I’m talking about. It’s pretty clear that more attention was spent on the chicken/catfish, and less on the side items, which they most likely bought wholesale. All in all, I would highly recommend this place the next time you crave fried chicken. It’s usually packed during lunch/dinner time so make sure you get there early!

I’ve eaten at the Division location a couple of times, but I’ve just gotten the chicken fried steak and tenders there. Friend of mine tells me the other day this place had the best fried catfish he has had lately. I asked him if he preferred it or another local place we both like, and he said he liked Lisa’s better. So, I had to give it a try when I was over this way, at the Pioneer Parkway location. He was right, this is the best fried catfish I currently know of. Corn meal breading isn’t heavy, just right for me. Big thing I judge catfish on, is how much of a «slime factor» it has after cooking. Here, it was NONE. Not sure how to explain it, it tasted like catfish, but it wasn’t that heavy fishy taste you get at some places. I got two huge pieces of catfish filets, two sides, roll and drink for $ 6+. Broke a piece open, it looked perfect. Very good, for my tastes anyway. Frozen crinkle cut fries are the usual standard, fried okra was good, but I like mine cooked a little longer, but not an issue for me. If you don’t like the fried catfish here, then we have extreme variations on what kind of catfish is great.

Stop by around 4:30pm. This was my first time trying lisa’s chicken after I heard some good recommendation about this place. The place was busy. Ordered #1 combo & some chicken livers. They were fantastic. The food was delicious. I like it better than church’s. So juicey from the inside at the same time so crispy from the outside. I definately recommend to everyone. Even better if u have it with beer :)

If they could take their fries, w/Chicken Express’s chicken… That would be one HELL of a chicken place!
