Excellent burgers and you gotta get the onion rings and milk shake. Burgers are big so unless you have a big appetite the smaller burgers would suffice. Very casual and near the Centennial bike trail.

It was a very hot Saturday so we were looking for a place to eat where we could sit outside with our dog when we discovered this place. We had a chicken burger with fries. It was excellent! We will be back for sure!

Cool concept for a restaurant, staff are good food is below average. The fries looked ike they had been recooked a dozen times, not sure what kind of cheese they used, but it looked like cheese wizz.disgusting. Only thing decent was the milkshake. I’d probably stop here just for that after my favorite espresso stand closed

We heared about this place from my in-laws. When we pulled up, I thought it was a garage and not a burger place. When we walked inside, we were in for a surprise. The décor was outstanding. What I mean by it is that it was decorated with car stuff(hats, license plates, old gas pumps, a old car etc). It felt like I was eating in a garage but it was a great twist. The burgers are outstanding. It takes about 15 minutes for the burgers to be cooked so you know they cook it fresh. I highly recommend the onion rings because they are soaked in a beer batter(they were gone in seconds). They don’t know military discounts but that’s ok. They are extremely friendly and the service is awesome. If your looking for a great place to snack on, go to the junkyard grill. We will be coming here again and again.

We have tried this place a couple of time… the food is VERY greasy. I had a hamburger and my husband had a Rueban.

Awesome food. Love the décor. Definitely go when 8th nice out and they have the place opened up. Parking really sucks though. But it’s worth the trouble.

Incredible food. The burgers are fantastic and well made. The fries are superb. The ambiance is absurd and wonderful. Confusing menu, but who cares. I really like how clean the whole place is. It’s the cleanest garage you’ll ever see. Employees aren’t exactly friendly and don’t seem to care that you’re there, but they don’t have to be nice when the food is that good. Seriously, the chubby young woman that worked the counter made fun of our order(she admitted she was wrong when she brought the food out, said they tried it themselves and it was actually good – hence why I ordered it, eh?) and was staring at the door the whole time we ordered. And I mean zero eye contact. I couldn’t pay her to look at me. Was she waiting for a friend? A hotter customer? I am fairly ugly so I understand. Completely ruined the first experience and made me want to leave. But damn the food was so good I forgot all about it. Note to other restaurants: if you are going to hire people that treat customers like crap, your food better be this good!

Just like I remember from the 60s, burgers and shakes. Really great thick shakes start with spoon wait few minutes to be able to pull the great taste through the straw. Burgers taste great but one observation I would have preferred — the house hand made patty should remain thick patty not flattened out spread out as much as possible — I love my burgers dripping with juice not flat & dry — these were really good flavor but most of juice squeezed out, better than most restaurants but not quite perfect. Still loved it. Fries great flavor potato seemed little soft maybe but tasted great – Fantastic atmosphere — — love the gas pumps and old truck. One negative — front counter person taking order seemed totally disinterested in taking order — constant starring off in another direction, answered questions with WTF attitude — couldn’t tell if it was just a typical millennial persons attitude towards us older folk or just because it’s her way to everyone –

This place is a keeper! The antique motif creates a pretty fantastic restaurant. Built in what was once a farmers market, the restaurant has open windows and an open front. Comfortable chairs and tables surrounded by antique cars and gasoline pumps makes this a neat conversation starter. The hamburgers are hand pressed and I suggest the 1⁄3 of a pound over the ½ pound because 1⁄3 is really all you need haha. The shakes are $ 4.50 but worth every penny! The strawberry shake is made with fresh strawberries and cream and the expresso shake was so delicious and I added whipped cream. The fries are ala carte but order only one order and split as they are a large order. I think we would split a 1⁄3 or ½ next time(and it comes with bacon) the bacon is cooked to perfection and quite good! After eating we went out front and sat on the chairs watching the cars go by and soaking up the sun. There are picnic tables with umbrellas outside. This place is clean, employees are friendly and everything is made from scratch even the fries! Highly recommend this place for burgers and milk shakes!!!

I went there today after hiking and it was really good. Nice good hearty hamburger with fries and a milkshake really hits the spot!!! Can’t wait to go again. Service was alright. But it was a nice setting and felt like you were In a real junkyard almost. It was clean. And just awesome.

Ok, this place is seriously cool. The décor is very unique — my husband and I loved coming to eat here for a relaxing Sunday lunch. Service is fairly fast, portions are HUGE, and the prices are reasonable. I got a chicken burger and it was delicious, it was messy, but I was ok with that because of the high quality of the food. My husband got a strawberry shake and burger, and he said that both were excellent also. We came on a rainy day, so we’re looking forward to coming back during the summer when it’s nice and the garage doors are open :)

We just stopped in again last Saturday, April 2. The hamburgers were still good, but boy was the service awful! I’ve talked to the owner before and he seems like a nice guy so I’m pretty sure he’d like to know how rude the girl working the counter is to people. I guess we didn’t whip out the credit card quickly enough for her so she said, «We do expect payment now» to my wife. We were shocked. When I picked up the food she shoved the bag at me and didn’t say«thank you» or anything else. The girl working the counter looked like she was in her 20s, short, large, kind of bug-eyed, medium-length wavy brown hair. Basically a troglodyte who took our order with her sagging udders resting on the counter. Disgusting.

I am not sure why there are so many ppl giving this place 4 stars and not 5. I love a sloppy burger with great flavor and this is the place to get that. Hand cut fries are great. Deep fried mushrooms are hand battered– very good. We go in as often as we can and make the 10 mile drive to eat here. Probably one of our top places to eat and my favorite food is pizza and they don’t have pizza. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Super tasty burgers, fresh and flavorful! The beef definitely had more flavor in the meat than the chicken that I had last time. All of the veggies were crisp on the burger. The onion rings were to die for, even without sauce. The fries were pretty good, but lacked salt or seasonings. The various sauce choices were great! The shakes were tasty, too! This place is awesome and worth getting off the freeway.

Every small town should have a place like this. It’s fantastic that they’re here, but it’s almost a bit of a shame that it seems like such a one of a kind type joint. It would be fantastic if every fast food joint were this serious and this capable, and had this much personality. We need more of them! It’s an old auto garage on the intersection of a couple of busy roads. They’ve kept the garage architecture, and they’ve kept the automotive theme. They could probably double their parking lot on busy summer evenings and still fill it with no trouble. You pull in to a wedge-shaped lot that fills up every spot and fills up all along the curbs, too. The roll-up doors from garage days still open; the whole front wall lets air in, and side windows keep the draft moving. There are tons and tons of signs everywhere advertising sports cars, high-performance products, and other rodding and racing memorabilia from the 50s to the present day. It’s not a nostalgia thing – these guys have just always loved cars from every year, then to now. There’s even an old Ford delivery truck from the 20s, with its flatbed turned into a dining table. There are picnic tables, old wooden barrels turned into tables, and probably a couple other kinds of tables scattered around, with seating ranging from benches to chairs to stools. You almost(but not quite) wonder whether girls on roller skates might bring your burgers out to your car. The kitchen is in back, along with all the other stuff that has to be fixed in place – soda fountain, condiment bar, restrooms, and an office back through some more doors. There are big menus over the ordering counter, and special boards off to the left with a couple interesting burgers and a milkshake or two that aren’t always available. This weekend’s milkshake special was honeydew. The burgers are serious; they range from $ 6-$ 10 and they’re worth it – pub buns, pretzels rolls, real bacon, real blue cheese, nice thin patties pressed from fresh ground chuck. There are chicken sandwiches as well, but make no mistake: this place is here as an indulgence, there are no healthful options other than the water. The fries looked and smelled good, but the onion rings are where it’s at. They’re thinly coated with crisp and flavorful beer batter, and they’re cut thick enough that you can bite of a mouthful without tearing the whole thing apart. They’re amazing. The milkshakes are thick and goopy cups full of ice cream, basically. You can hardly get enough through the straw to get a mouthful. If your mouth sometimes dries out while eating, this might leave you parched – get a cup of water, too. The shakes are insanely delicious. Two burgers, two onion rings, a milkshake and a pop were $ 30. It’s all totally worth it, but there’s no tip line on the credit card receipt. You have to have a couple bucks in your bucket if you want to tip. Even at $ 15 a plate, this place is not just easy to recommend – it’s a no-brainer. But you can probably be thoughtful about your serving size. I’m a big dude, and I couldn’t finish my onion rings halfway, and I only had a sip of milkshake. Just a burger and a pop filled me up completely for the rest of the day. Judging by the moans and groans coming from the passenger seat of my truck for the rest of the evening, though, if you try to take down the whole burger-rings-shake trifecta, your stomach will punish you for hours afterward. It’s hubris! If you’re here with others, split an order of rings and share a shake. You can always order more if it doesn’t fill you up. And don’t even try to take this food to go for eating in the car – you need to sit down and eat this stuff. It’s way too sumptuous(i.e., messy as hell) to eat and drive.
