It’s your typical Peruvian chicken joint, nothing special, but also didn’t disappoint. They had all the staples, plus they also had some burgers and subs for those not looking for chicken. You get what you expect. It’s close to my office, so I will continue to go.

Pretty good chicken here. I got the ¼ chicken with spinach and lentils. The chicken was good, but nothing spectacular. The spinach has a great taste, although it was rather salty. The lentils were somewhat boring, but I put the spicy green sauce in it to dress it up. But be careful with that sauce. It’s good but VERY spicy. Overall, good meal.

Don’t be afraid of the fact that you’re the only English speaker. This place is delicious the chicken and salmon are both delectable. The french fries spinach and rice are also delicious. It’s also pretty inexpensive for how big of a portion you get. Everything tends to be very greasy so be aware of that. Also, if You are ordering the salmon you will have to wait a while.

I have been a regular customer of Super Pollo during the 4 years that I have resided in Arlington despite periodic hit or miss quality Peruvian chicken, however, today was the final straw after having discovered numerous tiny flecks of aluminium foil in the remaining portion of my spinach side order. Never returning.

Peruvian chicken is just mediocre everywhere I try it. I don’t get the hype here except maybe for the numerous sides and moderate prices for large portions. But when I arrived for dinner the sides did not look fresh and they ran out of plantains. Service was unfriendly too. The pro was that the line moved fast. I guess in general it’s better than fast food chains.

Good food for a good price. Moist chicken and flavorful spinach side. Other than the chicken and the spinach I’m not sure whether or not anything else is good, but it’s pretty cheap and open late!

It’s good chicken. I can’t deny them that. But, it’s no El Pollo Rico just up the street. The flavor isn’t as intense as I’d like it to be, but the chicken size is huge! Makes me think what they are feeding them. They also offer way more sides than Rico and I partially liked the coleslaw. All in all, it good, not great.

Wow this place is amazing! I had the chicken and careen asada you get 2 sides with that. The food was so good and filling, they also have inca kola! Which I got with my meal, it felt as an authentic Peruvian place. It is more of a fast food, overall great place and highly recommended

I love this place. It’s pretty straight forward. Go for the food not the ambiance. Prices are affordable for a decent portion sized plate I usually get the ¼ dark chicken with 2 sides(fried yucca and lettuce). Always cures the craving. :)

Really great for a late night meal! Their horchata and yuka fries are pretty good. And they have so much selection!

Prices are reasonable for a whole meal. I’ve had better at other places though. It’s possible they were just having an off day. Fries came out kind of cold like they had been sitting out all day. Rice wasn’t completely cooked. Chicken was a little on the dry side. Wouldn’t be my 1st choice but I’d be willing to give them another try on another day. Hopefully it will be a better experience.

Chicken is great and always juicy Sides are always given in generous portions Pretty clean Accommodating staff. I told them I only want dark meat, they give me only dark meat. One of my friends wanted no potatoes in his spinach, they gave him no potatoes. I mean, what else do you want from a chicken place?

Chicken was ok. Nothing impressive about it. Good stuff but I didn’t feel like they went above and beyond to prove their quality. Service was ok

Delicious, fast, clean and good service. I came in here on a weeknight, place was pretty dead but I just wanted to do a quick take out order. I was surprised to see how well kept and clean it was inside. The service was quick and fast. I asked for extra yellow sauce, they gave it to me, no extra charge. I ordered a quarter chicken with a side salad and chick peas. The chick peas had to have been middle eastern, in fact I think the restaurant must be owned by a middle eastern because they also had kabobs in the other side(which I must try next time). The food tasted great, the chicken was juicy and the salad was yummy. I will definitely go back.

Absolutely love this place. Super Pollo is my go-to spot for Peruvian chicken in Arlington. I always get the quarter chicken, white meat, to go and have never been disappointed. Besides getting plenty of chicken every time, they really pile on the sides. I go for the white rice(because I like to eat it with the chicken and sauces all together) and the plantains. There’s an extra charge for plantains, but it’s definitely worth it — they are so delicious! My friends swear by the chick peas and the potato salad, too. Bottom line is you get a ton of delicious food for a really reasonable price. I could eat here way more often than is socially acceptable. Definitely recommend!

My favorite Peruvian/Pollo a la brasa style restaurant in the area. It’s effectively a carryout place, but there are seats and tables available if you want to sit down to watch the soccer games and telenovelas that are always on. All I’ve ever had here is the chicken, which is always incredibly moist. Any sort of grocery store rotisserie style chicken is almost inedible by comparison. My preference is dark meat and I will normally order a whole chicken’s worth. Since they sell half and quarter chickens, they can give you four quarters of dark or white meat as your whole chicken. If you go a little bit later during the day(maybe 8:00pm or after) and ask for a whole chicken of dark meat(or «solo piernas» aka legs only) they’ll often hook you up with 5 dark meat quarters for the price of 4. My favorite sides are the spinach and the plantains. I highly doubt the plantains are a traditional family recipe and am fairly confident they are coated in sugar or some kind of syrupy sweetner, but they are delicious. You’ll be in and out in less than 5 minutes with a ton of food to boot. Tough to beat for a fast, filling, tasty and affordable meal.

Super Pollo provides high quality Peruvian chicken. How so? Well their chicken is fairly sized and not skimpy. The flavor is evenly spiced. And with the various combo meals, you’ll be able to feed a family of 3 to 4 for under $ 18. I always purchase the whole chicken with two sides meal. Typically Yucca is my preferred side as Super Pollo fries a nice crispy Peruvian Potato. But if available, I’ll always order CHUFA(Peruvian Fried Rice). The service is fast as I’m in and out in 5 minutes. For all of these reasons, its no surprise Super Pollo lives up to its name!

Super Pollo used to be walking distance to my home. As a poor college student, it was a miracle. The food is no frills, just all flavor and value. For $ 5.00 you can get a quarter chicken and heapings of various sides that they provide. I would usually get the beans and plantains as my sides, and it was all delicious. The yellow sauce that they include with the chicken is made of magic, because it’s so delicious and there never seems to be enough of it. My family used to also gather here, and it would be inexpensive to feed our entire family with one of their chickens and a variety of sides. The place is easy to get to, just look past the McDonalds since it can be hidden behind it. Also, prepare to get your hands dirty picking all the delicious chicken off the bone!

I love super pollo. However, I think the quincy location is a little better than this one(hence the four stars). –chicken is just as good –spinach was more watery, not as good –yuca was less crispy, could be that it was sitting for a while –green sauce a little spicier –yellow sauce better This location also serves kabobs? Anyway, this is a good backup if the other location is closed for some reason(closed at 7 the other night). Still better than EPR just because of the side selection

This may become my go-to place when I want to eat out. Delicious Peruvian chicken, wide selection of side dishes, and fast service — all for a low price? My kind of place! I went here with my roommates and we quickly all decided to order the chicken with two sides. I got a quarter chicken, white meat, with lentils and spinach. The chicken itself is great; there’s a reason this place is known for its chicken. I loved the flavor of the skin, and the meat was juicy as far as white meat goes. My favorite part was definitely the green sauce though — it’s a little spicy and complements the chicken amazingly! The sides were decent too. Nothing mindblowing but rounded out the menu nicely. Super pollo — I’ll be back!
