The best biryani I’ve had on the west coast! Try the kheema biryani and you won’t be disappointed. Bezwada biryani is also amazing. Excellent service and friendly associates!

I love their bejawada biriyani. Their biriyani is not like normal dum biriyani. They have a base biriyani rice with spices and tip it with boneless chicken curry. The best biriyani you find in artesia. The cashier and waiters are all very friendly. They always make good conversation. The cashier usually suggests us good specials of the day, we always take up his suggestion and we’re disappointed.

I’m writing this from the shop itself. Worst ever experience I had with them. After 3 times ordered and waited for one hour they messed up everything. Reconsider before you make an order or visit!

I used to visit this place often but now i really dont want to be here any more. My last 2 visits were horrible experience. Hyderabadi Biriyani was a total waste of your money. Especially on weekend when they get more orders i have felt this difference. They just put some steamed white rice with no actually curry. They could better rename it to Hyderabadi Rice. We have to come from long distance to taste their white rice. :(. Guys wake up, you definitely need to improve a lot.

I used to love their place a lot. These days all we get is plain rice and chicken for biriyani. Their goat biryani is good(one star for it), has flavor and richness. Sometimes we get stale food. Biriyani is overpriced for the quality. But we keep going back because we are indian and we dont have that many Indian restaurants around. Paradise used to be bad, now they have improved a lot compared to these guys. I hope they serve fresh food to keep us coming back. Naan is very hard and looks frozen. Dont call this place, they have some stupid call center guys take your call. Its better go to the store, order, wait for 10 – 15 min and take your order.

best birayani in town. I get the boneless chicken birayani which is ideal for 2 meals. Good place to check it out. South Indian based food. Curries and other are ok.

Worst service ever! I ordered online through seamless and they took my money. When I went to the restaurant to pick up food they said they never got the order and tried charging me again. Supposedly they’re not affiliated with seamless… Then why the heck did they take me to order through them? Anyways I had to call my bank and stay in the phone for over thirty mins and cancel the previous order and pay again. Obviously never going back again.

This place is a hotspot in Artesia for Biriyani. Often very crowded and the staff trying hard to cater to so many guests. I have had mixed experiences here. The Bezawada are Nizam biriyanis are to die for. I keep coming back at least once in two weeks just for these. On the other hand the egg biriyani is just rice and egg curry mixed together. They should totally scratch that.

I have had food from Biryani factory at Woodland Hills and just absolutely loved their bezawada chicken and hyderabadi dum chicken biryani. Over here it was bit disappointing. Menu is simple and couple of their items like their combos, appetizers(lollypop chicken) are not available anymore. The menu was not even updated and very disappointing when you request for that order and they say not available. Bummer. So I got their bezawada chicken and dum biryani. Portion size was extremely small compared to what I got from Woodland Hills location. Lots of rice and very little meat. Side dish — raita and curry was terrible. Curry was watered down and tasteless. I definitely had great experience at their other location. I would recommend dining there than at Artesia location. It is a great deal of drive for me but certain places are worth the drive for and this one is NOT it. Parking is free, limited and it is to the back of the restaurant.

Really worst. Ordered chicken 65. I think it was an old chicken. They just fried it and given. I said the guy it was not good. He not even mind what I said. This is my first and last visit to this place.

Not a good place. I had Veg. Biryani and naan. Biryani tastes good but not worth for the price. Regarding naan, it is very bad. I am very sure that naan is a frozen/prepared that they are just warming and severing. Water is not good, place is not hygienic. I personally don’t recommend this place.

Biriyani Factory is a cozy shop right on Pioneer Blvd. The décor is very Indian Fast Casual. Don’t expect the Taj Mahal. However the food is good and the place has a locals feel to it. As from the name, they specialize in biriyani and the style sways south indian. The place is competitive with the other indian restaurants in the area.

I haven’t been to India so I can’t judge this place for authenticity. I can say the flavors our dishes were bright, complex and yummy! The goatmeat curry was excellent.

My husband and I were enjoying a nice evening walking down Pioneer Blvd. We worked up an appetite and decided to try out this restaurant. We were excited to see that the menu offered a variety of biryani. We made our selections and were looking forward to our meal. Our waiter was quick to bring us water. The water was warm so I asked him for ice. To our surprise the restaurant does not have ice. That was strange but we didn’t think much of it. The waiter came to take our order. The first appetizer we order had run out. We had to pick the chicken lollypop. The first entrée we ordered was no longer available for the day. The second choice was no longer available. We had to pick a third option. At this point we were just hungry and looking forward to eating our choice of biryani. Our chicken lollypop came out first. It looked burnt. It tasted stale and dry. We regretted ordering this appetizer. Our chicken biryani came out and that looked good. We were optimistic about this choice. We both took our first bite and it was not good. We forced ourselves to take a second bite. It was very disappointing. The biryani tasted as if it had been reheated more than a few times. The high bill did not reflect the quality of the food. The experience overall made us realize that we are better off just cooking at home.

Biryani comes in countless number of styles, there are many regional variations of this elegant rice dish. My favorite biryani is the traditional Hyderabadi dum version, with all the ingredients slow-cooked together in a sealed pot in order to absorb the flavors of the spices. When perfected, it has an irresistible aroma and mouth-watering taste. This type of biryani is available at Biryiani Factory, where it’s done reasonably well. It was served in an individual pot with a small portion of raita and shorba given on the side. I’ve ordered the vegetable dum biryani and bezawada/vijayawada biryani from Biriyani Factory before. I prefer the Hyderabadi dum biryani a little more, since the rice was fluffy and the grains were not sticky. Moreover, the choice of vegetables(melon, capsicum, cauliflower, carrot) were cooked in steam and did not appear to be the type that’s from a frozen package. The biryani was neither oily nor heavy, and therefore easy to digest. It came with some mirchi salan, a savory gravy that tasted like a blend of peanut, tamarind, and roasted bell pepper. The bezawada was more rich in spices and fiery hot compared to the Hyderabadi biryani. Although it’s the signature dish at Biriyani Factory, I probably wouldn’t order it again since the rice and chili-marinated boneless fried chicken had a rough and dry texture, like almost fully boiled. I did appreciate the accompanying peanut salan though, it’s very bright and bold. I think that this restaurant makes the best tasting side of gravy for biryani in LA, second to Paradise Pointe. While waiting for my food to be cooked, I noticed many Indian customers walk in to ask about the different types of biryani on the menu. I overheard the manager tell them that the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani is the more Americanized type, so get the nizam or bezawada or nattu kozhi instead, which leads me to believe this restaurant is Andhra-owned. Regardless, Biriyani Factory is a place I will return for take-out when I’m craving for dum biryani in this area of town.

We were in LA for the game at Dodgers and decided to explore Artesia for it’s Indian flavor. Decided to lunch at this place and thanks to Lord. What a place to have your lunch. Great Biriyani and snacks.

Spicy !! Delicious biriyani. I always get the egg biriyani to go from this place and love it. It can be a little bit spicy for some but I like spicy food and use yogurt if I feel the spice level is more than I can take. But it should not be a deal breaker for people who do not eat spicy food, you can get more yogurt and ask the owner to be light on spices. I always call ahead and it takes them 20 mins to get the biriyani ready, the best idea if you are in a rush and want a ‘to go’. One funny observation is that whenever I have been to this place, I have always felt something sticking to the bottom of my shoes, the floor feels so sticky. I am not sure why but I guess they should mop the place more often. Parking is no problem since there is a paid parking area right behind this place.

5 stars for the food. I always call in before I go to this place to make sure they have Bezawada Biryani… most of the times they run out of it as it is their best selling biryani. I wouldn’t suggest dine-in as the ambience is not that great. I would rather starve than try biryani at any other place in Artesia.
