Good was good. Service was very poor. Décor is not good. Owner should improve the management.

We had to have vegetarian so we had the vegetarian curry, spinach and cheese curry and garlic naan. I had a Sweet Lassi drink a little on the sweet side then tasted good. I like the vegetarian curry and the garlic naan better. The spinach and cheese curry would be good for someone who really likes Indian food. This place is more of a café then the food taste a little better than actual café food. The parking lot has some tight parking spaces and it seems to be a busy shopping center with mostly small restaurants.

I don’t know why they have such a poor rating and such bad reviews! We had an awesome experience here! We went here for a late night dinner… exactly on closing time. Though the closing time is 11pm, there were people coming in upto 11.15pm. We stayed upto 12am. Staff members are very polite and soft. They patiently waited while we were dining even when we went on closing time. Coming to food, everything we ordered was very very good.

Typical example of how much a Chef matters for a restaurant to be successful. Change in chef and the taste and quality of food goes down the drain. A big thumbs down.

The food quality ranges from excellent to horrible. It is a perfect synonym for hit and miss. As long as you are willing to play the roulette you should be fine

Not sure if this is the same place that others reviewed so please read and eat accordingly. This place is located on ground floor, a couple stores down from Bhimas vegetarian and next to ice cream shop. I think it’s related to the veg place. Anyways now for the food critique. Goat meat was all bones, biryani was not made as expected. Basically it was white rice, mixed with some meat, sauce, and served. Other dishes are very ordinary, just some meat or tofu etc slathered in sauce. Don’t waste your money.

we visited last Saturday with big group. Oh my God. it is one of worst service in this restaurant. All customers are looking everybody face and getting frustration with service. they are 12 tables(approximately 60 customers) and 2 students are trying to do everything. our food is completely messed up and appetizers served after 45 – 60 mins. Some items completely missed it I am giving 1 star for two items are prepared good but rest of items failed the expectation. Customers are coming to your place to enjoy food with family. we don’t want to serve water our self, wait for bill 45 mins and mess up our evening time. There is no apologize from owner visited at that time. it looks like he don’t care about customers at all All customers are showing frustration on poor students working at that time. i feel very bad about them.

I hope this goes to the correct location. They have apparently moved again. So I went here for the first time with my fiancé’s family(Indian) and I have been back twice since. This place seriously has some of the best Indian food I have ever had. The portions are very plentiful. Everything I have tried here is delish! I don’t generally like lamb, but the lamb kabob is wonderful and just spicy enough. The standouts for me are the chicken tikka, naan and the biryani’s. The tikka is so tender and juicy and spicy, just how it should be. No watered down food here! My fiancé’s mom even said the biryani here is better than hers and hers is damn good. I usually order an extra tikka to take home for later, it is that good. I think I am going to have to get there again sooner rather than later.

The store at this address is now closed. They moved across the parking lot to 18740 Pioneer Blvd. There is no longer a lunch buffet. However, I thought that the food was good. We had chicken biryani, goat biryani, butter chicken, and goat kurma. The biryanis were very good, and came with a sauce to spice it up, and a yoghurt sauce to cool it down. The butter chicken and goat kurma were excellent. Service is so-so. Atmosphere could be better.

Kabob Corner– ObviO that Miracles Exist A miracle is an event that appears inexplicable by the laws of nature and so is held to be supernatural in origin or an act of God. When My roommates and I went to Kebob Corner for a Sunday Brunch, our lives changed forever. What you are about to read will astonish you… Kabob Corner is a miracle maker… ROOMIE #1, lamb sheesh kabob: Immediately after placing the first piece of the lamb sheesh kabob in his mouth, my roommate was able to levitate his body to float above the table and remain hovering indefinitely. In fact you can visit the restaurant at anytime and he will be found floating above table 2 on the left. ROOMIE #2, Chicken lollipops: Here the miracle wasn’t immediately as apparent as it was for roomie #1. It wasn’t until after we got back to our car that roomie #2’s MIND was detectable as a Bluetooth device in our car. He was able to then control all of the songs in the radio by just thinking about them. In addition, he was able to communicate to any nearby Bluetooth devices with his MIND. ROOMIE #3, Chole Chana w/Spicy Cheese Naan: First of all I need to preface this miracle with a little background on roomie #3. He is a vegetarian… Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, but I’ve never seen an opinion as wrong as this. Vegetarians, or as I like to call them, Pussies, deprive themselves of the delicious food we call meat. ObviO, Any intelligent person knows that Meat = Testosterone, and without testosterone a man will turn into a blubbering vagina. His muscles will shrink, his hair will grow long and gross, and before you know it he will be wearing tie-dye clothes and singing in drum circles… Anyway I think roomie #3 is basically the dumbest person I know, and here is where the Kabob corner miracle kicks in. He ordered the chole chana and the spicy cheese naan… I don’t know which of the two caused this– but after eating them, he gained Super Human Intelligence developed in the following areas: *Super learning and eidetic memory: he is now able to learn things very quickly and never forget anything anymore– a miracle because he used to stop to think, and forget to start again *He May also have Photographic Memory since he can’t seem to erase a certain disturbing PDF from his mind *Advanced reasoning with Bat Deduction(using few and«unrelated» facts to reach a correct conclusion) since while watching House, he knew the diagnosis and treatment of every patient wayyyyy before House knew *Improbable Aiming Skills– when we dared him to, he was able to fire a spitball made of his spicy cheese naan at a little girl sitting all the way across the restaurant directly into her left eyeball ROOMIE # 4, spicy shrimp curry + Rose Milk: It turns out that if you rub and massage the spicy shrimp curry’s sauce deeply into your scalp for 30 minutes, followed by a cooling Rose Milk conditioning rinse, you will find true love. In this case, roomie #4 ‘s life long dream of marrying a Samurai has become a reality. Lastly– I recommend the Ice Bowl. Wow. It is now almost 24 hours later, and I had to return to update my review for 2 reasons. 1. Roomie #4’s miracles have not yet stopped. Due to color processing her hair, it had become extremely dry, brittle, and unhealthy. However upon waking this morning, it is miraculously full of life, shine, and vitality. Not only is the hair on her head transformed, she now has eye lashes as full and as long as Katy Perry! 2. Another vegetarian had also joined us halfway through our meal, and reported miracles, but I hate vegetarians so I won’t waste my time documenting her experience, but just wanted to make you all aware of this. #Roomie#1, #Roomie#2, #Roomie#3, #Roomie#4, #PDF, #icebowl, #kabobcorner, #samurai, #JasminDreams, #ObviO, #Spitballstotheface

friends, These guys have weekend lunch buffet which is $ 16.99. They have lot of variety to make sense for the price but the quality is too bad. Most of the item is not fresh and also not hot(whatever time you go) Only good thing is Egg Omelet is good as they prepared after we order :) Just my help to our friends to escape from it :)

Dear Kabob Corner, Please do us all a favor and shut down already. We ordered a malai chicken kabob and paneer tikka kabob to go at 8pm. We were asked to pick it up in 20 mins. We got there on time but our food wasn’t ready and all patrons there were complaining about lack of service, and a few tables actually walked out. After waiting for 40 mins our to-go order was finally ready at 9pm. I’m thinking now that it was probably worth the wait and looked forward to delicious succulent kabobs… Only to face major disappointment. The paneer kabob wasn’t cooked and you could taste the raw paneer inside. Only the outside was seared. Same with the chicken, rubbery and tough with no marinade reaching beyond the skin. See attached pics and avoid this place.

was here last weekend and was food poisoned. There were just 2 other families along with my husband and i and we were surprised at the head count. However, started eating food and none of the vegetarian options were good to eat. They were serving the so called«on the spot«appam+korma and pav bhaji. The korma supposed to be eaten with the appam was stale and the bhaji for pav was just OK. i did add lil bit of salt and pepper to make it up and the biriyani was stale and oily. none of the curries were edible and so was the roti/naan. they would serve at your table only if you ask for it. otherwise, you need to eat those half rotten naan’s they serve at the buffett. Since I couldn’t eat that stale food, i tried to order another appam and the chef made 3 – 4 appams only to take those inside while I was waiting on him. AMUSING!!! Ended up paying 36 $+tax only to be food poisoned. needless to say, would never again visit this place again!

The food was ok and the service was worst. The only reason I went to eat buffet was one of my friend told me this place has decent Hyderabadi food and I love the authentic taste of that cuisine but I would never go to this place again. It lacks on cleanliness and service a lot. Also i would say food is not that great that I can give a try again. There was plain naan(bread) with the buffet and it was so hard and chewy that i wasn’t able to break it to eat. I would prefer Tangy Tomato instead of eating at this place again for quality & taste of food as well as service and cleanliness.

This is the non-vegetarian counterpart of Tirupathi Bhimas. It moved upstairs after Shan Mahal took its place downstairs. The only reason why I came was because my dining companion only eats meat and I was craving Indian. A restaurant named«Kabob Corner» should meet both requirements, right? I called ahead and asked if there was a non-veg tiffin available because I recalled seeing a photo of it on the other Kabob Corner listing. The woman who answered the phone indicated ‘yes we do’ and told me it was $ 8.99, so we drove over. When I arrived, there were no other customers at the restaurant. Either the food is bad or it’s too much work to drive towards this end of the strip and walk up a flight of stairs. I sat down and did not see any thali or tiffins on the menu. I complained to the misleading Hispanic server who had probably answered the phone earlier. She was confused and clueless. She pointed me to the buffet sign and said $ 8.99… Since lunch hour is short and the chefs appeared to be Indian, I reluctantly remained with my colleague to try the buffet. The spread was very similar to the generic Indian buffet varieties with slight emphasis on south Indian dishes — spicy dal, chole masala, potato poriyal, chicken dum biryani, masala idli, kadai paneer, Andhra chicken, chicken curry, and taramind rice. However, naan is given by default, which is strange for an Andhra-style restaurant. The dal and chana masala were creamy and spicier than usual. Masala idli is typical tiffin fare that was sloppily prepared. The spices were not close to evenly distributed on each piece and the idli were not even crunchy. Kadai paneer was very oily. Taramind rice which is rarely found in local buffets was actually tasty and acceptable. Andhra chicken was the most interesting because it was not chicken thighs and legs coated in a spicy gravy that I’ve seen in the past. What I got were dry pieces of chicken tikka rubbed in masala spices. The only standouts in the entire meal were the taramind rice and the semi-sweet moong dal poriyal. Kabob Corner would be decent for buffet standards outside of Little India, but in all likelihood, there’s no way I’d return if I were in the Artesia area. For the same price as the buffet, I can get a platter of fresh food anywhere else on the Pioneer strip.

The food is decent The service is A Ok The 007 chicken is spicy, too spicy for some. I did enjoy the aloo gobi and the palaak. The food here is very spicy and may not be suitable for those who like mild flavor. Overall a decent Indian joint

The travelling circus moves upstairs — Kabob Corner the restaurant that was present on the ground level has opened a buffet on the second level. Last year my company had one of our yearly meetings in their banquet section and as it was an utter disaster(as this review is not about their banquet center I’ll leave the details for another review) so I was not too keen on coming to eat here when we found out that had opened a buffet. Anyway my friend wanted to try it out so we came for lunch a couple of days ago. Parking is not a problem as it is in a plaza with sufficient parking. At the prime lunch hour the place was practically empty with only a handful of customers so I guess word is still getting out. The buffet here is $ 9.99 + tax(which is about a dollar more than Ashoka the great) and the choices on offer are not as extensive as Ashoka, but the food was excellent. Lot of standard items that you will find in an Indian buffet so I won’t go into each in detail but point out the ones that stood out. Malai Chicken(grilled chicken marinated in a cream based sauce) was soft as silk, the biryani would give the biryani at Paradise a run for its money, plain rice was hot and nicely cooked, butter chicken was creamy. Sweet dishes were great(which means most people are going to find them to be way too sweet but works for me). A selection of fruits would have been great but that is understandable. It turned out to be a great meal. My gut feeling is that the food tasted so good as they have just opened and they still don’t have the lunch time hoards attacking them and as that starts the quality of food will start to drop exponentially. So get in here while the food is still good. On my part I’ll return once in a couple of weeks till the food quality drops off at which time I’ll update my review.

Have been here many many times on weekends. Have tried their Andhra Thalis at lunch lot of food and guess what it was fresh too. Consistency in taste and freshness is on their side. Today we decided to try their Chinese food Indian style and surprisingly it was good. It was just as we would have in Chennai(south India). We had chicken manchurian, chicken noodles, and chicken fried rice. The rice was above average but their noodles and manchurian was excellent. We had quiet a portion that we brought left overs to our home for dinner. Try it and you won’t regret. Priced reasonable.
