If you are looking for indo-Chinese food in Artesia, definitely try this place. First visit went for dinner. Tried their Hakka noodles, sweet corn soup and Chicken manchurian(dry). It was real good. Second visit went for the buffet. Buffet had real wide variety. Indo-Chinese and North Indian food. They had Veggies on the Tava, reshmi kabob, soup, noodles, veg Biriyani, mutton curry etc. I tried little of most items on the buffet and everything tasted so good that now it has become one of my favorite restaurants to go in Artesia. I would recommend to anybody.

I take my boyfriend here for Indian food and he loves it. I’m Indian and he’s half white and half Filipino, but the food is great. I totally recommend their Chinese bhel, chicken tikka masala, and jerra rice!

Never had Indo-Chinese food before, I’ve driven past this place many times and it had always sparked my curiosity. Mom came over to visit and decided to give this place a try with the family. Would have to say, best decision I’ve made today lol. Great service, water is refilled constantly without flagging anyone down. And the buffet was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. And for the price for AYCE, can’t beat it! Will be back here when I’m craving good Indo-Chinese food.

We had our New Year’s Eve Bash there with a group of close to 50 – 100 and the staff and owner at Nanking were absolutely fabulous! The service was great and very accommodating. The food was superb and everyone was just amazing. Highly recommend if you are looking for good food and great environment!

Excellent food! Excellent service! Went there for a New Years Eve party. They were adequately staffed and all were polite. The paneer was cooked perfectly. Chicken superb. My favorite dishes were the paneer, one of the spicy chicken dishes(sorry forgot the name), and the mango mouse/soufflé… which was absolutely decadent. Thank you for the fantastic experience Nanking! Class act!!!

This place is awesome in terms of food taste, food quality, and customer service. My family and I come here often — it is our staple restaurant for Indian food. I am not the biggest fan of Indian sweets but their kulfi is beyond delicious!

You want Indo-Chinese-Nepalese food, go no where else! This is as good as it gets .For starters we had the MO-MO Chicken and chinese bhel and for the main course we had the RAHRAHCHICKEN with Naan and Noodles. Only draw back is I love my Indian beer and they are still waiting on thier beer and wine licence .But over all when it comes to food and service this place deserves all the stars!

1÷3÷16 *UPDATE* After having a bad experience we turned to Unilocal to vent our frustration. However, Dinesh, the manager, was kind and professional enough to invite us back once again and kept true to his offer. He sincerely apologized for our dissatisfaction at the previous dining experience and we tried the Kashmiri Malai Koftey and Mutton Masala from the Indian cuisine as well as Chicken Sekuwa from the Nepali cuisine. The Kashmiri Malai koftey were a delight with well-balanced flavors. The Mutton masala has a traditional flavor and has room for improvement. The best was the Chicken Sekuwa and is a must-try for any food lover! It impressed us with the tender chunks of chicken cooked to perfection and paired brilliantly with a spicy sauce. We recommend trying this all with their garlic butter and chilli garlic naan! The food was surprisingly light and not at all oily like other Indian restaurants. Don’t forget to top it all off with their mango lassi and their fun paan kulfi. We’ll definitely be returning to Nanking with family and friends! :) 12÷19÷15 Tried their Chinese food. It was unreasonably expensive and was not good at all. Too spicy and garlicy.

We came here on a rainy Sunday night after doing some shopping in Little India. My first impression of the place is that its a large withdecent decorations of artwork and statues from India, China, and even Nepal. Makes sense as the cuisine here consists of all three of those great Asian nations. The staff is friendly but our waiter, it might have been his first month on the job, was cluless about the menu except for the food he is offered to eat for free by his boss. We got a Chicken Biryani, that was cooked inside a pie crust, and it was very good. Good use of Indian spices and good portion of chicken. Overall, very flavorful as the method used to cook it helped make keep strengthen the flavors and it was delicious! We also got the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was also delicious. Also got some spicy garlic naan, and no complaints on that as well from our table. In addition, we paired that with some paneer, and that was decent. Finally, we also got a Chinese/Nepali dish called Mutton Momo, which is a dumpling filled with mutton, and this was very different for an Indian restaurant to offer, it was not bad. Overall, the staff was friendly and attentive, but some of them just had no clue about the food being served. Also they did not ask the level of spiciness we wanted, so we were served mainly low to mild spiciness, and we all preferred very spicy! I do recommend this place, as its different from the rest of restaurants in Little India in Artesia, CA. I will be back someday, and wish them well as they are a brand new business.

Was little skeptical with change of name. But they have become better than before. Love the food. Their Indo-Chinese is one of the best ever I have ever tasted in this neighborhood. Definitely worth going again :)

One of the best restaurants in Artesia, with variety of food options Indian, Chinese n Nepali. I often go there for dinner, my favorite is ‘chicken MO: MO’(like dumplings), ‘veg chowmin’(noodles) and ‘chicken sekwa’(grilled chicken). They said they use minimal food colors n food tests fresh. I wanna try their buffet during weekend, i heard they have many items. n yeh, the pan kulfee will literally knock you off your feet. it would be nice if they have pictures on their menu for new comers. i highly recommend others, n definitely going back.

The best and the only good indo-chinese restaurant around LA. Formerly called as tangy tomato… The owner Dinesh is awesome person. Very kind and friendly. Chicken chilly, schezwan fried rice, chicken seqwa and lunch buffets are the best item… Chicken lollipop is the best.

This was my worst experience with Indian food in LA. I and my friend went there for dinner on a Wednesday night, as we got attracted to the name nanking. Nanking is one of the best Indo-Chinese restaurant in Hyderabad. I was expecting something similar. To start, the service was worst. First a server came and tried taking our order. He had no clue about the menu or the quantity they serve. He then called the owner. We ordered schezwan chicken vegetable momos and chow mien. I was having a headache so I ordered a cup of tea We first got our chicken appetizer. We thought it was schezwan chicken and started eating. Suddenly our server comes and places another chicken appetizer and said this is chicken schezwan and took away the other appetizer while we were eating and halfway through it. Then we got our chow mien. I requested them for tea again. We got our vegetable momos which were bitter. It had paneer in it and was stale. I went and told the owner that the momos are stale and he said they were frozen so they could not be stale. I didn’t have to argue more after that statement. He offered to get it replaced with veg Manchuria and he did. I requested for my tea again. My friend also made a couple of requests. Finally, another young server tried to help us with our food. He got us everything we wanted and also got me my tea. But we already waited too long and were no longer hungry. Food wise the chicken appetizers and chicken biryani was good. But rest all was disappointing. The owner tried to help us as much as he could but he is short staffed so was not able to address everyone. The restaurant was just half filled when we were there. I am pretty sure it would be more chaotic if it gets full. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - I am changing my rating to three as the owner contacted me. I feel it is a great gesture from him to address customer’s concerns. I am hoping to visit this place next time for a good experience
