MSG has been a challenge in finding restaurants that don’t use this ingredient and that largely eliminates phở for her. The bánh mì they relayed to us did not use MSG seasoning in the preparation. Our first time in we picked up the bánh mì pork and beef sandwiches. Those were very enjoyable and satisfying. Next visit in was the seafood phở and pork bún for her along with some pork spring rolls. Enjoyable again The taste tends for some dishes tends bit sweeter though pretty typical for the style. The phở is good and middle ground. I really like the slightly sweeter southern style but depends on my mood. Portions are above average so we leave pretty satisfied for the $ paid. She likes the coffee and takes it straight-black. If wanting that caffeine fix, this will definitely bring it. Very earthy, dark and would probably be great poured over vanilla ice cream like an affogato. I’m getting off track though. The accompanying service has been pleasant when dining in or ordering take out. The place is pretty spacious and turn over of diners quick that waiting isn’t tiresome. The parking lot at peak is another story, suffice it does become crowded and spaces are tight. We’ll be back to eat more. Food quality –4 Taste– 4 Service– 4 Value– 4.5

Super cheap phở with a very flavorful broth. I would definitely come back just for the phở, very large portions as well. Skip the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I’ve had it better at other places, Phở Little Saigon made theirs a bit watered down and I could barely taste the coffee.

Food was great. Had the pad Thai chicken and tofu. Service is great and quick. Parking in a packed plaza one star lost that’s it.

I have been coming to this place for at least a year now and I have to say the phở is delicious! I had tried phở at other places and did not like it, too plain. The phở here has great flavors that taste homemade. It is not greasy and salty or plain. Service is always awesome. Love #12, spring rolls, and thai tea. Favorite phở place.

I’ve been coming here a few years now. My favorite go to spot for a variety of Vietnamese dishes and extras. Broth in the phở is tasty and aromatic. Dishes are fresh and tasty. Place is nice and clean. They’re not skimpy with their meat either. Tried a ton of places in our area. This spot is my favorite.

First timer! Much needed on this gloomy day. I will say that this is one of the best Phở’ places I’ve been to in LA County, I typically got to Phở places in SD. Awesome Hospitality, cleanliness and food! Definitely the key ingredients for a successful restaurant!

I’ve been coming here for quite some time now, and I’m just now getting around to writing a review. This place has become a go-to either when I want phở, or just when I want something delicious and satisfying. The prices here are unbeatable and the service is ALWAYS great. The guys that run the restaurant are so friendly and always wear a smile. I am not Vietnamese, and therefore cannot assure you that everything on this menu is traditionally made, or that the flavors are«the way it’s supposed to be», as pointed out in some Unilocal complaints. All I know is that of ALL the phở places I’ve tried, the food here is excellent, which is why I keep coming back. The phở with beef ball is my favorite, or sometimes, the Bun bo Hue is much more satisfying. The Korean BBQ short ribs are always on point, and so is the fried tofu.

I really enjoy the seafood combo rice noodle and the spring rolls. They are so tasty and the service is fast. The waiters are not too talkative or suggest plates but I have figured it’s a culture thing because most Vietnamese places it’s the same type of treatment. I am sad about them removing the taro cakes off the menu. It’s mainly the reason I don’t go as often anymore but when I crave phở it’s this place.

I am only honest and unbiased in my reviews being solely on my experiences. The first time I came here, I was pretty good with the service from a gentlemen seem to be in his late 20s kind man. My soup tasted good but there wasnt a lot of meat. I went again the next day with a different guy who looked in his 40s and his service was awful! Had an attitude with my questions asking for the brisket to be rare/on a plate and saying it cannot be rare. I took the soup home and I inspected the meat and it has colors a meat shouldnt have. The meat was terrible and disgusting. It was the first time I didn’t tip somebody because he didnt refill my water or checked on my dine in, and the soup is skimpy on meat and the meat was bad. The fried wontons with meat tasted very dull and the meat wasnt enjoyable. And it was $ 7 or 8.95 Wont be coming back here again.

Post meal workout after a cold January. Ambiance Parking: This plaza gets pretty packed so good luck with parking. Seating: is all inside and connected. It’s very group setting friendly but still able to accommodate small groups or individuals for a total of 50 people. Feels: The place is decorated with paintings of the motherland. Top 40 music and 2 tvs with basic cable. Pretty spacious, well lit, and generally warm feeling. Fairly clean and generally friendly. If you have the urge for a diverse menu of Vietnamese food then this place has the options for you. Whether you’re here for a group hang out or just catching with a friend, it’s a pretty good place. Food: Fish fillet noodle and fish cake(Recommend) Fish fillet, fish cake, noodles, and fried garlic. The fish was well cooked and noodles were pretty fresh. If you’re in the mood for something fishy, then this is a good delight. Customer Service: Like the other reviews, the service could have been better. Overall: 4 stars. My experience here was pretty solid. Price was about rice 8 – 12 for soup, portions were reasonable, and the ambiance was pretty good. Not the MUST place to be but a good place for proximal place for phở. TL;DR Tips: * Come during unconventional hours for parking.

Stick to the phở! I figured I’d try something different and ordered the Beef Chow Fun and I did not like it at ALL… Tasted bland, watered down… noodles were not even peeled! It was in chunks. I kept trying to peel it with my fork… very disappointing. It was like eating blocks of rice paper… never again!

Upon walking in very empty, and clean. We ordered spring rolls maybe i should of said fried spring rolls, we ordered calimari not the normal calimari more like calimari from the box at seafood city, yet it still was ok to the taste bud. Husband ate them. My soup had 1 piece of meat which was the wo tong soup with extra lemon. Hubby got a #23 he enjoyed his soup. now for the Soda i ordered eeek never again, one sip with the club soda mix and it was sour.yuk. but i adventured out of the norm with that drink .I’ll stick to my normal Tea. Attentiveness at our table well no one came back to ask if we needed more of anything once our food was at our table. Overall experience i will come back .my review, well it just doesnt deserve 4 stars for the lack of attentce on the guys part.

This is a great place to eat family style. There phở is delicious and fresh. I’ve come to eat here several times and have always had superb service. We had a large chicken phở, spring rolls, drinks and a smoothie. BTW try the smoothies they are pretty tasty. For three people I only spent $ 29. You can’t beat that! Better than any fast food place and much more nutritious. I recommend this place and make sure to bring the kiddos.

Located in the same plaza as cha2o and tea station. Parking can be crazy during dinner time. The spring rolls are ok. I liked the sauce which was had more peanut flavor and hoisen? sauce than a fish sauce and chili flavor. The spring rolls itself needed basil and mint since it was flavorless on its own. I ate here twice and their chicken was good. It used the breast meat and the broth tasted clean, not oily. The second time I dined in, no basil just a whole bunch of cilantro. I like my herbs in my phở. Get some café sua to wake yourself up. Service was quick. Overall it’s okay but there are other phở places in the area I would rather go to.

It’s not surprising this restaurant was not crowded on a busy weekend. A lot of the restaurants in this plaza had a waiting list, but this place was not even half filled. The kids were hungry and cranky, so we took the chance and ate here. I’ve never had a phở base quite this dark in color with such an unpleasing taste. The beef plate I ordered was loaded with bell peppers that I hate which I didn’t see mentioned on the menu. It was ¾ bell peppers and ¼ beef. Booo. We ordered egg rolls but they didn’t give us any mint or cilantro, so I had to ask for that. The kids ordered smoothies and they took forever to make. For a place that was not busy, the food and service were just not on key.

How can you go wrong with delicious Phở noodles! The phở noodles never disappoint me! My bf took me here and I’ve been loving this place ever since! The broth is good and the meat selection is very yummy! House special Phở Dac Biet is by far my favorite phở! Spring rolls are delicious as well! Price is definitely Fair! Clean restaurant! Service is not too shabby! I’ll be coming back! This is like a secret Hole in the wall Phở restaurant! The phở comes out so quickly you’ll be satisfied!

Uh-Oh! Those were the first thought in my head as I came in. Nobody was there. The three waiters were watching TV, Not a good sign. I was craving Vietnamese food, so, what the heck. Let’s try this empty restaurant, lol. I’m glad I did, the food was very good. I was ordering Take Out, first time there so it took me a while to see what looked good. The waiter was very helpful in making suggestions. Once I placed my order, It took about 10 minutes before the food was ready. Here’s the rundown: Crispy Wonton — It had a pork filling which was very tasty. The wonton skin was fried perfectly. Brisket Phở — Of the things I got here, the phở was the least favorite thing I got. The broth was not flavorful enough IMO. The brisket was just fine. Crispy Wok«Combination of beef, chicken, seafood, vegetables w/special house sauce over crispy noodles» — This was my favorite tongiht. The noodles were very Crispy. the other ingredients were very tasty and matched well with the noodle. The noodles softened up once mixed, but it was still firm. I loved the texture of this dish. Delicious. House Special Plate«Grilled pork chop, fried shrimp cake, Chinese sausage & shredded pork over steamed rice» — I wanted to try a variety of thing from this restaurant and this dish provided it. The grilled pork chop was very good. fried shrimp cake was okay. Chinese sausage, YUM! and the shredded pork was Super Yum! Parking is plentiful. I would personally pass on the phở next time, but I will definitely be getting noodles and rice dishes here. Yum yum Yum! Try them out for yourself and decide!
