Rekha’s Threading Salon

Rekha has been threading my moms eyebrows for the last decade. When she left her old salon, my mom would always ask where she was and they would always say she’s on vacation. She was on vacation for like 1000 years there apparently. One day, my mom saw her ad in a penny saver magazine and yelled from excitement that she found her favorite eyebrow threading lady! That was years ago. Now rekhas salon is a blooming business. I regret every time I go somewhere else, because Rekha and who I believe is her daughter are the best at what they do. They have a stamp card as well, so with every 10(?) stamps you get a free threading. Even if they didn’t have that, I would still come here regularly. It’s located in a shopping plaza right off out South street, near the Cha2o and Bakers and Baristas. It’s on the second floor right next to the far staircase. I love Rekha and I never want anyone else to thread my eyebrows again!!!

I went to Rekha’s this morning after hearing all the good reviews here. I was a little nervous because I hadn’t had my eyebrows threaded in a reallyy long time due to having a very low pain threshold. x) I came in a little before noon and it wasn’t busy at all. The staff all gave me a friendly smile and the threader I had (I think it was the owner but not sure) was very quick with her threading. I asked for a cleanup, and she was able to just groom my brows a little without making it thin. They gave me a stamp card for the 10 threadings get one free. I’m only taking off one star because after my threading I had really bad hives/​rash. I think it was the toner, since my skin is sensitive. I’ll still be coming back, and will skip the toner next time around. Thank you Rekha and staff :)

I have been going to Rehka for 10 years since she was working at a previous threading salon work station # 2. One day she was no longer working at the salon and they kept saying she was on vacation. I was sad because my eyebrows were never the same for a whole year until I found her on Unilocal.I am happy she has her own salon !! She is the only person I trust with my eyebrows and she is so sweet.
Her prices are reasonable than most, so I always tip her more.

I’ve been to Rekha’s a handful of times and she has always done a great job with my eyebrows. I’ve only had excellent service when I’ve been here.

The place that I usually go to closed at 7 pm, so I decided to give this place a try based on all of the positive reviews. I asked for cleanup only, as I am happy with the thickness and shape of my eyebrows; she did great at following what I asked her to do. The final test obviously will occur as they grow out again, but I’ll update if I’m unhappy with the shape they maintain.
The only thing that I was unsatisfied with was that I am used to having my eyebrow area cleaned prior to getting threaded and massaged after, this is not a service that is provided here. I came on a Tuesday, so I didn’t have any parking issues and I was attended right away. Everyone was very attentive and polite. They were great at explaining their stamp card incentive program. I’ll definitely come back when I can’t make it to my usual place.

Im never going back to that new girl who did my eyebrows today. She messed it up. It was uneven. She tried fixing it, but it was uneven still. I never really had someone mess up my eyebrow so bad cause im brows already in shape and just have to trim it up. If you go to this place make sure you look for rekha or rekha’s daughter (i think). Other than that say no.

Thank you! First time getting my eyebrows done and I could not be happier! It did not even hurt at all and they came out great! Very professional and fast, I was done in less than 5 minutes. I also got the stamp card for the free threading after ten visits! I will be back!

I am Rekha’s loyal customer from day 1. She is super sweet and super talented. My eyebrows always look perfect after Rekha’s magic touch. It is a big bonus that the salon is super clean and the customer service is always perfect.

This review is long overdue – I have been coming here for years now. Until yesterday, I’ve had my eyebrows done solely by Puja, Rekha’s daughter. I got it done by Rekha for the first time last night in Puja’s absence and I love it just as much. They are both very sensitive to your instructions. I have had my fair share of being over-​threaded despite my request to keep my brows full and healthy. Not these ladies! If you want your brows full they will actually only clean you up and you’ll look fabulous in no time. Not only that service is great and price is reasonable. Look no further! This place is it.

Customer service is big in my book. Why have a business if you’re not willing to serve your customers? I came in with my mom my boyfriend so that we can all get our eyebrows threaded. But guess who got left out of the equation…
I had written all of our names down with my boyfriend’s written last. Yet they skipped over my boyfriend and proceeded to call the girl who’s name was after him. Seriously? What’s the point of having a list of you’re not going to follow it? They just continued to smile at us and say goodbye with no acknowledgement of them forgetting my boyfriends name or skipping over him. The threading here is good but not that good to overlook this mistake. I will not be coming back.

Rekha is my lord & savior. I grew out my eyebrows for one year & it was the most terrifying/​beautiful thing ever. The last eyebrow lady I had she moved & her protégé made me have McDonalds arch eyebrows. So I had some trust issues. When the time came to finally thread them I read reviews on Rekha and I built up the courage to see her. And it was a great decision! I fill in my eyebrows but when I got them threaded by her it was like I didn’t need too! I was absolutely in love. The first time I got them threaded was about 5 months ago & I get them done now every 3 weeks. I’ve only ever had them done by Rekha & no one else. It’s only $ 6 & she takes 5min. To do it. I recommend her to my friend who was growing out her eyebrows too & only ever got them waxed & now she goes to Rekha only. She’s amazing!

If I’m in the area and needed a threading session I definitely stop by. Always coming out with my eyebrows on fleek lol.
The only grip is the parking during peak dining times where it shares an area with so many food options.

I stopped in because this threading salon had such great Unilocal reviews. It’s located at the east end of the two story shopping center on South. Parking was easy and I found it with no problem.
Right as I walked in, I was greeted and asked what service I would like. I told the attendant I needed eyebrows and I wanted Rehka to work on them. She remembered my voice from calling the day before which made me feel instantly comfortable.
Rehka was very friendly and I gave her a request for the shape I wanted. I had been growing for a couple of weeks.
She did one brow and quickly handed me a mirror for approval. I really appreciated this, as it is rare to see one brow before they are both done at a threading salon.
Another plus, the service was only $ 6. I left her a nice tip and thanked her.
Overall, I was happy but not in love with my shape. I may continue to grow them for a couple more weeks. I don’t blame Rehka, as I had a bad threading experience a couple of months ago my brows are recovering from. I will definitely be back.

The lady that threaded me was super fast & very gentle. Most painless threading session I’ve ever had. I usually turn very red & blotchy after threading, but this time my skin didn’t react. Will definitely be back!

My first time and everything was perfect! Everyone always told me that eyebrow threading was painful, but I barely felt anything when the lady (I didn’t get to ask her name) did mine. In fact, she finished doing my eyebrows in like three minutes and they still turned out AMAZING. The lady was very nice, staying patient with me even when I had to ask her to repeat what she was saying multiple times. I am so satisfied with my visit and I will definitely come back. Not only that, but there was literally no line when I came in (at around 12 pm lunch time). My mom was surprised to find me back at her office a few minutes later. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Best place to get your brows did in Cerritos, hands down. I only come in for brows ($ 6) but they also do lip as well and not sure how much that is. They also have a nail spot too inside, which is cool.
Didn’t think it was possible that there would be a spot around here that I’d keep coming to but thank the brow gods for the blessing.
They’re real gentle with their threading, and they ask you if you like the finished product or not. I forgot their names but for sure, anyone you go to you wont be disappointed!

Hmmmm. The past 2 times, I’ve left unhappy because they didn’t listen on keeping my brow thickness.
I’ve only had my brows done by Rekha but she was on vacation 1.5 months ago, so I had to settle for Pooja, her daughter. She didn’t listen on keeping my brow thickness.
Yesterday I went again and thankfully Rekha was there, but surprisingly she ALSO didn’t listen to keeping my brows thick.
I don’t understand?! I’ve been here 12x and 10 of those were absolutely fine.
I’ll need to grow back my brows now and maintain them myself for a little while.

Threading is painless. Lies. Lies. Lies.
I can compare threading to be tortured slowly, very very slowly. Some might like pain but I myself do not. However, unless I want to walk around looking like a furball than threading for me is mandatory.
PRICE:
Rehka’s is my go to place for my threading needs. It’s $ 6.00 for the eyebrows and $ 10.00 for the eyebrows and upper lips. Rehka and Pooja are the only two I’ll allow to touch this face only because they’ve both managed the skill of threading. Their hands so light and their technique method is close to perfection.
Having had a bad experience at Ziba’s where the lady thought she was Edward Scissorhands leaving me with cuts all over my face, I learned my lesson the hard way not to go anywhere but Rehka’s.

Plenty of parking but park in the back to find the quickest parking spot.
TIP:
Don’t forget to get a stamp card.

Fantastic job, friendly staff, clean location and inexpensive prices, what else could one ask for? An easy five stars for Rehka’s Threading Salon.

Am I the only woman that feels *BRAND NEW* after getting her eyebrows did?!?
Love this place. There’s never a wait, their employees are friendly and they even have a stamp card! Free eyebrow threading on your 10^th visit! I’ve had a different person thread me each time I’ve visited and not one of them has let me down. Have any of you experienced those threaders that thread so sllllooowwwww it feels like you’re dying a slow death?!? Well, you don’t gotta worry about that here!
