Big Lots

Big lots is a unique store. Their moto «Here today, gone tommorow» sure does do the store justice. Unlike other big box chain stores that are cookie cutter cutouts one looking and having all the same items as the other. Big lots is different cause you never know what you will find unless you go in and look around. Some days I will find super great bargains and deals, or what I call «scores», other days there will be nothing but an empty shelf. It makes me wonder if they just didn’t have anything good on this particular day, of if they had something super wonderful and it all sold out really quick before I had a chance to get any. Either way going to a big lots store is like wearing a winter coat on the first day of cold weather and putting your hands in the pockets and finding that long lost $ 20 that you forgot was in there and are thrilled and surprised that you found it again.

Big Lots has a lot of stuff for not too much money it’s kind of nice when you’re looking for something like food or whatever. You can get quite a few different things there however — the employees are totally not helpful. We asked if they had something and they said no. I walked down an asile and they had like 50… I’m like… wow awesome. They wouldn’t discount the one knit cap they had in the style that we were looking for that had a spot on it… but I do like big lots, for their rugs and so on, well they are awesome. Furniture is petty good here too.

Big Lots is a store with really cheap stuff. Anything from food to book shelves and couches. Just bought Shasta cola 4 packs 16 oz cans for a dollar. I grew up drinking Shasta cola didn’t even new they made anymore. Don’t shop here a lot but when I see a special like the one I just mentioned I will shop here.

Such an interesting place…
You can buy olive oil by the gallon, flip flops, meat, and .50 books by the dozen here. Never knew… just decided to stop on buy one day and left with a couple of cheap books I had to dig for and a membership with the big lots email club.
The place is clean, organized and pretty friendly.
