Came here for the hibachi and you get a lot of food. I ordered the steak and lobster. Only reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars is because I ordered my steak medium rare and it was well done and my lobster was a little tough. My boyfriend ordered his steak medium and it also came out well done. For dessert, I ordered the tempura green tea ice cream. I didn’t enjoy it at all. The tempura was more like bread, not crispy. Service was great, big portions, but a little bummed my steak and lobster were dry. Maybe I’ll try their sushi next time.

This restaurant was the first place I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying Hibachi. I absolutely love sushi so I just had to try their special rolls. I went with my fiancé, my sister, and my brother-in-law and we had the best time. The chef was very humorous and super talented. We even had some sake sprayed into our mouths, after checking our IDs of course. I will definitely be returning. This was by far the best dinner I’ve had at a restaurant in my life. Right up there with Melting Pot and excitement and tasty food.

I never visited this location before the new management — but that was one of the friendliest, most fun hibachi experiences I’ve had in a long time. Chef was excellent. Filet and fried rice were delicious.

My friend and I chose this place for our annual holiday get-together. The service was wonderful. Everyone is super friendly. We chose to sit at a table as opposed to the grill. The sushi was superb, as well. I quite enjoyed the complimentary, delicious edamame. Overall, we had a great experience. It made for a memorable holiday dinner with my great friend.

The people who work there seem to be nice. There — I started with a positive. Also, the sushi is pretty good — right there in that«decent-to-good for Denver» range. The restaurant itself, though? Yikes. Dazzlingly bright lights bouncing off of white walls, with occasional bits of random Japanese(ish) artwork tossed on the walls in a seemingly random manner. Add to that the amazingly loud music and it’s a wonder this place can customers coming in — it’s almost like they watched one of those restaurant makeover shows and are striving to be the«before». But like I said, the people who work there seem to be nice.

Very nice service, great soup and salad. Hibachi was good but way too much soy sauce! As for ambiance, it’s grocery store bright and no music.

Food quality, employees, delivery time-top notch. You would be silly to go anywhere but Mt. Fugi.

We normally love this place but tonight they tried to seat the four of us at a table with six people already seated. I didn’t want to look at the backside of the chef instead of seeing the«show». They then tried to put us at another table with two people at it but we were told they are in a hurry. Not wanting to be crowded or rushed we left. They for what ever reason made room for the two groups of people behind us. I understand that there are only so many tables but maybe don’t sit two people in a hurry at an eight top by themselves and then cramp 10 into the same size eight top. Not to mention we were there first so they could have sat us and had the people behind us wait. I just can’t stand bad service.

We did the habachi for lunch and it was very sub par. We have been going to the Mt Fuji in Denver for years and decided to give the Arvada restaurant a try. The food did not taste as good and the other restaurant. The only ‘trick’ the chef did was flaming volcano. He spent most of his time complaining on how the manger«recycles» the salad not eaten from customers by washing it, then reserving it to the next customer. SAVEYOURMONEY! If you want habachi goo to the denver site on 6th. Very sad.

I absolutely love this place. Probably one of my favorite all time places to go to eat. I have been here over 5 times. I have invited friends and family because the atmosphere is great. I have enjoyed evey visit. I have only ever been in for the grill and not the sushi or just the restaurant side. I love coming here. On one busy night our grill chef rushed because he was the only chef. I was a bit disappointed since I really wanted the long fun hands-on entertainment I had had before. However, even in that little disappointment the experience and the food were great and the skill of the chef was equally still impressive. My daughter loves it and just craves the food. More important the chefs are very kid conscious and every time we are here they focus on making my daughter laugh. They offer lots of coupons so look online and come on Tuesdays during thier 2 for $ 29.99 which is an amazing deal. Arthur the chef is incredible at his skill and wonderfully personable. Every time we have him he calls my daughter princess and makes a big effort in seeing her smile. My daughter walks away satisfied by the food and filled with joy because of the experience. She remembers each chef and even gets super excited when they come over because of the way they make her feel special when she comes in. Arthur is also a comedian and loves making jokes. The other chefs are also great. Like I said every time I have come here I have enjoyed my time. Thank you staff and especially the chefs for making this my favorite place to come. I enjoy the food, admire the skill, and appreciate your friendly service.

First time customer. Was seated at the Hibachi station as soon as my son and I arrived. Service was fast and server returned often to see if we needed anything. Food was delish and the chef was very entertaining. My 8 yr old son loved it and was still talking about his experience when we got home. Only downside was that it is a tad pricey for the food you get(Mostly noodles and rice). But, considering the«show» you get with your meal I guess that is understandable.

I am a person who is happy when things are good, surprised when things are great, and bummed when things are bad. But I am absolutely completely angered and disappointed for all time when things are mediocre. Mediocre is the worst; things could be better so easily if people gave a modicum more effort, but instead they choose to do very little and it makes the experience unbelievably disappointing. Such is the case with Mt. Fuji. We were excited because the reviews are great, it’s very close to my house, and there were some bright spots on the menu, such as katsu meals, hamachi kama, sunomono, etc. When we walked in, there were only a few tables, but we stood for 5 minutes before anyone even greeted us. Once we had seats, and throughout our meal, it took 5 – 10 minutes for our waiter(who is also the owner I think? or a manager) would ever come over. We ordered a spider roll, spicy black pepper tuna roll, hamachi kama, and gyoza. While we waited, we slowly realized that not a single employee or chef in the restaurant is Japanese(it turned the owners are Chinese, which is fine, but why are you running a Japanese restaurant!?), neither are the hibachi chefs, which is a food trend I’ve never understood anyway. The food was, well, mediocre. The gyoza were not freshly made, and were woefully undercooked and not seared, so the pastry just dried out and it didn’t have any flavor. The kama was good, but it’s hard to screw that up. The rolls were OK– they stayed together but it was impossible to taste the fish and the flavors were indistinct. For our food items and one large beer, it was $ 40, which is certainly not cheap. We both left feeling a bit swindled, honestly. The food was lousy, the service was terrible, and honestly it was exactly what you would fear a Japanese restaurant in a suburban strip mall would be. Basically, now I know to stop trusting reviews for any remotely«ethnic» foods in suburbs. I wasn’t expecting the restaurant experiences I’ve had in Japan, but I was expecting, well, ACTUAL Japanese food made by actual Japanese chefs. Apparently, in Arvada, that is too much to ask.

Service was absolutely amazing!!! The food was so good we spent $ 125 easily and about $ 110 of it was me. Sitting at the bar we were tended to right away. The environment was very cool and the lay out was great.

Excellent service. I made a reservation for 14 people with 2 kids for my large family that was visiting my sister in Arvada. We needed a place that was good for kids and had a pretty big menu to fit everyone’s needs. We were all VERY happy with the service and the prices were insanely reasonable. We had«Bob» as our cook. I don’t remember his real name, but our waiter told us it was«Bob». He had just started and moved from Miami. He was excellent. From his tricks to his sense of humor. Hands down, the best Hibachi cook we’ve ever had. We all ended up getting the hibachi grill and everything was delicious. The beers were buy 2 get one free for Kirin. From the décor, the service, food and prices: everything was perfect. I’m glad my family had a great time here since we’re so chaotic. It was nice to have a nice dinner together at this new lovely place.

I was thrilled to find a sushi restaurant so close to home at least 15 minutes away. The one sushi restaurant the bf and I enjoy is 35 minutes away. My review is solely on the sushi and not the hibachi. For drinks I ordered the Mai Tai, served in a typical Mai Tai shaped class with a basic transparent straw, which I feel was aesthetically unattractive. Other customers received Mai tai’s with a pineapple fruit wedge and two black slender straws — more aesthetically pleasing. The taste of the drink was too fruity and according to the bf did not taste like any Mai tai drink he was used to, which might explain why it was only $ 5. Sushi ordered included the Godzilla roll, Phoenix roll(both specials $ 8 at the time) and the volcano roll. The Godzilla roll was just ok — fish deep fried and presented as sushi rolls. I was not impressed and nor was the bf. However, we both did enjoy the Phoenix roll very much. I enjoyed the volcano roll more than the bf. Service was prompt mainly because when we arrived the restaurant was empty but picked up soon after 30 minutes. Establishment was very clean and trendy. Even though the service was good and ambience nice, nothing really stood out as amazing. Therefore, the bf and I will still likely travel 35 minutes to our favorite sushi place. However, I do want to come back to Mt Fuji to try the hibachi!

Thank you for moving to Arvada! It’s nice to have a good friendly restaurant in the area. We sat at a table. My daughter had the Unagi Dom and said it was the best she has had in a while. Hubby had the hibachi steak and that was great and I had the teriyaki chicken which was also so good. The steamed rice is really good sticky rice. Loved it. Our waiter was wonderful. Very attentive but not overbearing. The bus boys were good and refilled our water on point. So glad we got there just after 5. We were seated right away but by the time we left they’re was a wait. It was Friday night and the wait didn’t seam too long. We will try the sushi next time. It looked amazing. Or do take out on a work night maybe. Regretting not trying the saki. Again next time. Second visit and we had sushi, 10 rolls! For 4 people! And it was really good. We tried 6 regular rolls and 4 specialty rolls. Their regular rolls are larger than most sushi restaurants we have been too. We could of ordered less but nonetheless we finished it off. Their Unagi rolls are my hands down favorite! Delicious. One of our specialty rolls had mango and tuna I think and that would be my second favorite. Again, so happy they moved to Arvada!!! Tonight our server was Daisy. She was so busy with all the hibachi tables a large party of 9 and 3 other tables. She was fantastic and fun! We will be going back for more sushi… maybe not as much as we are tonight. May sit at the bar next time and watch them prepare the sushi and get to talk to them about everything. Could be fun! Also gave an extra star for good sushi

Awesomely memorable experience! We came for my daughter’s birthday and requested Arthur as fellow Unilocalers suggested. He did not disappoint! He is extremely entertaining from the get go and all through the dinner! The food was phenomenal. I had steak and lobster and my daughter had sampled the sushi(All very fresh) and ordered seafood herself. A couple of notes. All the hibachi meals will be plenty for dinner. Ordering appetizers was a bit too much food for my little girl. Also, the cocktails are very weak and expensive! Overall a good experience. Plan to sit a while. It took a half hour before the show started for a total of a 2 hour meal. It was well worth it though. We needed something a little higher end with quality in our neighborhood!
