I don’t normally make an effort to review places, but we had a terrible experience and needed to warn others. I want to at least start by saying the staff was amazing. They were friendly and seemed to actually enjoy being there. After we were seated, the waiter(I don’t recall his name, but he was awesome) came by and took our order. To cut out a ton of time in this review I will just quickly say we ordered the fresh mozzarella, falafel, ramen noodle bowl and the pub burger. The food took well over an hour to come out, about 80 minutes. They reenforced this by coming over four times(3 times by our waiter and 1 by who I assume was the manager/owner) to tell us our food was, «coming right out.» No explanation or apology about the wait, just a bunch of stall tactics. Now I know this was a Saturday night, but it wasn’t that busy in the dining room. Of all the food, the falafel was the only saving grace. It had amazing flavor. The mozzarella was runny and watery and lacked any real flavor in the fresh tomato sauce. My wife’s ramen bowl looked amazing, but was basically just chicken stock. It seriously just tasted like cambell’s chicken soup with fresh veggies thrown in. My burger was way under cooked. It was done enough to safely eat, but was vey rare which was not how it was ordered and was very bland. I’m not a fan of sending things back to the kitchen(and in this case didn’t want to wait for another) so I sucked it up. The fries were also just completely burnt almost as if they forgot about them in the fryer. For $ 18 I would have at least liked it to have some salt and pepper flavor on the burger. I know I wasn’t the only one having a rough time. The four top table next to us only had ¾ meals come out of the kitchen. The one young lady was eating bits of the other three meals on the table. They finally brought out her food to go once they cleared the empty plates of her friends. A second table got sick of waiting for their waiter to even take the drink order so they got up and left. I’m sure the place has potential if they can get their kitchen in order. The décor is great and the staff was very friendly. This place isn’t worth the steep price considering the quality of food. Way better places in the immediate area.

I miss The Bank! I dined here recently and was excited for another new Asbury restaurant. But it seems this place is still getting their legs under them because the service was extremely slow even though the waiter ended up being very nice. And unfortunately the food did not make up for the service. We had the bacon crack which was not very crack-like — essentially a thick cut of fat — and another appetizer that couldn’t have been memorable since I can’t think of it. I had the hot dog which was alright. Don’t plan to return.

Redemption atmosphere was relaxed and a perfect spot for a drink where you can hear each other speak yet have great music and games on TV in the background. Really enjoyed Brendan and his awesome personality and service and will definitely go back to have the burger that he raves is the best burger around. Upon leaving, was told by another patron that the food was outstanding. Hope to return to experience the speakeasy & food!

Food was great and service was even better. I’m still dreaming about that«vault» burger with bacon marmalade. Looking forward to going back next time I’m on the NJ shore.

Great time. Met the owner and a great waitress on her second day. Had the bacon crack, and enjoyed it. Big seller. Wife ordered a white sangria, always a challenge everywhere we go, and it was good. I had a Macallan and it was a good pour, and the second one was even better. We each had the endive salad with walnuts and cheese and garlic dressing. Suggest offering grilled chicken or salmon to add. Wife also had the pumpkin spice soup and she said it was excellent. Service was great. Menu was varied and great. Will go back.

The wait staff was attentive, but lacked flow and tact. For example, limited grasp of the menu or wine list, bussed my plate before I was done, and asked us if we «wanted anything else» while my date was mid chew — then proceeded to drop the check while she was still eating. The appetizers were not terrible, but nothing I would order again. The dates stuffed with chorizo should be removed or reworked quickly. Bacon crack was ok, falafel was solid, but might be too spicy for some. The vault burger and fries were well executed and the roasted squash was very good. Overall, this place just needs to get their front of house in order. With the amount of competition in Asbury, they won’t last long unless they step their game up.

Very good service, must get the bacon crack and gnocchi. Entire menu looks great. General tsos Brussels also really good. Arugula salad not as great. My friend loved the sangria. There’s beer and cider on tap.

The now defunct bank on mattison has been totally overhauled and in its place a serious restaurant has been established to join the ranks of Asbury parks excellent dining scene. The menu is creative and seasonal and chock full of all locally sourced ingredients and products. What a welcomed addition to our town.

This place is small, upscale bar that serves as a restaurant. Our waiter, Brendan, was very friendly and extremely attentive. We had asked to sit in The quieter small room and our waiter was her accomodating. The food was reasonably priced for the quality. The ingredients tastes fresh and flavorful. For being so new, they are sure doing well. I recommend going here for a delicious dinner.
