Saturday morning there’s no fresh bread. Ridiculous. Overpriced wine department. Starbucks on premises sucks. Everytime I redeem my reward they look at me as if I’m stealing it from them. Fix your god damned card reader.

Another mediocre encounter at Harris Teeter. Customer service is a foreign concept at this location. The cashier never looked and/or directed conversation towards me. Asked for $ 100 cash back and received $ 100 bill. Cashier then just walked away. Thanks Harris Teeter for hiring another person that doesn’t have enough sense to say thank you!

Employees who work behind the Customer Service counter are so unhelpful. Every time I have a question regarding Harris Teeter VIC store card, I’m told their computers are down and to call the 1800 number on the back of the VIC card… never fails.

If it weren’t across the street from the house, I would go to the other Harris Teeter that’s only a couple of miles away. I’ve purchased dairy products from this store over the last two months that have been curddled and way past their prime date(although the date marked on the items was recent). Management was friendly and refunded accordingly. The only other complaint I have is that they do not carry all of the necessary items for my family though they are well stocked for a neighborhood grocery store.

Online shopping! Rosario is the personal shopper I usually have. Delightful lady! Finally met her face-to-face. She follows my requests to the letter and calls me if she has a question. Using online shopping has revolutionized our at home dining and saved me atleast 1⁄3 of my grocery costs over the past year. Highly Recommend!

The staff is friendly and I love that this is open 24⁄7. I have had nights coming back from the city where nothing is open except Mickey Ds(mcdonalds if you didn’t already know) and that’s not an option for me. So it’s nice to come in here and pick items that I can either make at home or that are ready to eat/drink right away. While those points are nice, the items and groceries are more expensive than places like Wegmans or Giant. Plus I feel the level of product isn’t as good as Wegmans either. Obviously it’s silly of me to compare the two since both are on different levels of grocery shopping. As far as groceries I’ll stick with Wegmans but should I have a late night craving for something to munch on, this joint will be where I head too.

Stopped in at 5pm after work today to grab a few items for dinner. It would have been fantastic if they had had a SINGLE cashier working. When I asked the one cashier who had just closed his lane why there were no lanes open, he informed me the cashiers were on break. All of them. At the same time. I won’t be going back. I’ll go somewhere where I don’t have to do someone else’s job and pay them for it.

I just wanted to post that at the last Brambleton event I was at, HT had a truck out handing out icecream samples. I am not normally a fan of store brands(some are bad) but I am now buying HT brand of icecream, its inexpensive compared to some others and it is actually creamy and good!

This place is a hop, skip and a jump for us. It’s convenient and the staff here will help you in all your grocery needs and wants.

Convient, yes. Nothing else except that. They carry expired food items on their shelves, moldy bread, opened containers with stuff growing in them, and they change the expiration dates on fresh meats if they don’t sell. Friends have informed me that they talked with the manager but he has not done anything. Manager enforces their practice of selling expired, unsafe food items. Filed a formal complaint with the Dept of Agriculture.

Okay, I guess I am one of the few non Harris Teeter fans out there. This is the closest grocery store to us. I generally will drive a little farther to go elsewhere. I feel that the prices at Harris Teeter are very high compared to other grocery stores. The bakery isn’t as good as other stores. I think if you shop the sales and coupon you do okay there, but as a Mom of two I don’t always get the chance to sit down and figure all of that out.

This Harris Teeter has the worst customer service of any I’ve been to. I frequent this location on the way to my office in the morning because its my only option for grocery stores along my route. I’ve only ever had a cashier twice in the two years I’ve gone to the store. They only have the«convenience checkout» lines open… the only person they are convenient for is the cashier who doesn’t have to do his or her job! One trip I picked up an item that was marked at one price, but at the check out it came up $.25 higher than the price marked. The customer service agent argued with me that I was wrong but I knew I wasn’t. I walked her back to the display and showed her the HUGE sign that had the lower price. Her face turned red and she refunded my money reluctantly. Today I was in the store again to pick up a few things, and this time, there were cashiers… in fact, 4 of them at one register, all gossiping with a young girl. None of them acknowledged my presence for a few minutes, then one cashier told another one to «go to register 6» and I stood there and watched the girl walk over to the other register. The gal at the register I was at continued to gossip with her friend and after a few minutes, turned to me and said, «she can help you on register 6». The management of this HT location should be ashamed of the employees and their poor work ethic.

Our Harris Teeter has amazing fresh produce and I can always find everything there. I tried some very interesting Gillian McKeith recipes that required some odd ingredients — I found them all here!!! We also make the most of their sub club :) They have amazing deals daily so you can also save some $$$s if you shop smart!

I love this store! Much like Neal, this store is right around the corner from my house and its open 24 hours. One of the nice things about this is they have tons of free samples of their food all around the store, so it gives it that Wegman’s feel. Also, if you have little kids, its great because they give them free sugar cookies and balloons. It’s new, clean and has everything that would normally go to any other grocery store, so its a winner in my book!

This Harris Teeter is my new go-to grocery store for when I need to pick up something to take to work as it is right on my route to work — yep — you guessed it — the«Fabled and Legendary Northwest Passage.» :-) Everyone has been very friendly and outgoing and always looking to help whenever I come in here(And it’s right across the street from Unilocaler Sam R’s house!) My latest HT conquest involved restocking the work kitchen with spices and hot sauces for use with lunch. I bought several brands/flavors of hot sauce, garlic salt, white pepper, chili powder, and Old Bay.
