MOD Pizza

I have never left my pizza on my plate. The mozzarella cheese was not chewable. I couldn’t chew it and my husband as well. I had to eat two slice and left the other ones. It was flat bread kind of dough with tasteless toppings and tons of cheese on it. I’m sorry to give one star, but also trash was full to the top and sitting arrangements are not nice. In the middle of winter, cold air was blowing on our head. We had to change table because of it but end up next to the door and it was cold as well because the door keep opening and closing. It was a bad experience for me and my husband. Tons of kids which is good for families with kids for a quick small pizza. If you want a good pizza that take time to deliver to your table, I would say go to Fire Works.

Wife and I tried MOD for the first time tonight, and I doubt we’ll be back. MOD is fast-​food pizza — they have about 10 kinds to pick from, or you can create your own. Think Chipotle or Subway, for pizza. I got one with tomato sauce, fresh basil, pepperoncini, and I’m not sure what else because they put so much mozzarella cheese on it I couldn’t taste anything else. Maybe some ppl love tons of cheese on theirs, but I actually like to taste the other ingredients. Every bite, there was strings of cheese everywhere.
It seemed more like a place for kids — everyone there had at least one small kid other than us. I’d say if you have small kids and want cheap pizza, go for it. If you want a good pizza, go to Fire Works or get Paisanos takeout.

Solid place — I really find myself going to this Ashburn plaza a lot for Cava and Habit so I decided to drop by Mod on a Sunday night. And it did not disappoint!
Staff was very cheerful, but I had to mention to them multiple times while going down the condiments line about my modifications to a standard pizza (because you can modify pizzas by adding or taking things off a set one on their menu). I think this place is still new though, so the team is probably still trying to figure out how to best communicate, especially during peak hours, etc. I didn’t go here during peak times, but I would be hesitant to do so right now; maybe in a month or two that will be enough time and I will try to go during prime time dinner time.
The pizza itself though is a great deal for the price. Got a mod-​size pizza for myself and I had leftovers for the next day. $ 8-​ish dollars isn’t bad at all if I got two meals out of one. :) Very fresh, very friendly place. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

The kids wanted pizza at that «$ 5 AYCE» place. Yuck. So we compromised and tried this place for the first time. We will definitely be back because even the kids loved it! I love thin crust pizza and this one was perfect. It was nice and crispy and the variety of toppings (all included in the price) was quite good. They even have salads where the toppings are included as well.
Between the four of us, we had the Mad Dog, Dillon James, and Calexico. All delicious and well prepared. They didn’t skimp on the toppings. We also ordered a Caesar salad, which was good except for the very wilted romaine :(
Ordering is similar to Chipotle or Cava Grill where you point to what you want on your pizza (if you get one of the «classics», you can still add toppings). The staff was friendly and they even serve beer and wine.

Methinks not! Got 2 pies, sauce was way too bland, crust was way too crispy. Somebody else noted that their pizza was soft, so maybe I just had a bad day!

Nice atmosphere, really yummy pizza with a wonderful variety of toppings (i.e. roasted cauliflower), decent price. The wait to place an order could take a while, but the pizzas cook really quickly.

Wow really good! Love the concept — even though these make your own pizza chains are coming about all over the place. MOD seems to be a notch above! I’m Usually not a fan of thin crust but this still ended up being soft and the right amount of dough to topping ratio! I ordered a mini build my own and it was appetizing!!! The smell inside is very tempting I must say. Good topping choices… I liked the sri-​rancha sauce! Definitely will be back! Very reasonable pricing. Unlimited toppings, they just charge by the size of the dough. Nice and friendly staff!

This place is amazing! The pizza is incredibly delicious, and the price is perfect. $ 21.00 for two people including drinks?! Can’t beat that. You walk out of here full and satisfied. Highly recommend everyone to go here!
