Since moving to Richmond we have been on the hunt for our new«go to» pizza place. Decided to try this one out and took advantage of a Groupon for the place. Right off the bat the décor could use an update. The waitress was nice and friendly, and kept our drinks filled during our meal. We ordered a large white pizza with mushrooms. Crust was nice and crispy and it tasted okay… not the great I am looking for though. I would have preferred fresh mushrooms and not ones from a can. My daughter had the cheeseburger and my son had their meatball sub. Both of them didn’t care at all for their meals. Said the flavor was off, and my son actually pushed it aside and ended up just eating a slice of the pizza. My daughter quit after she choked down half. Bottom line, pizza was fair, and if I’m in the area and hungry I might pop in again for some slices. Definable will stay away from the burgers and meatball sub. Ultimately though, just not gonna go out of my way to grab dinner here.

The food was good and our server was nice. HOWEVER, the supposed owner was very rude and nasty to us and even told us never to come back all because he wasn’t paying attention to us when we told him how we were paying the bill. He messed it up and then got rather hostile with us when we were telling him how it needed to be done. I would recommend staying away from this place!!!

Pizza is so-so. The chef salad with chicken was a ton of good! Really fresh veggies as well. Bad beer selection. Well priced selections. Average little spot.

I was a regular customer here. Service with most waitresses was decent. The owner/manager is a jerk. He acts like you’re bothering him when you go up to pay. Walked out last time I went because my friend and I were being ignored because he was too busy flirting with young girls.(He was my waiter that time).

Bought pizza from here for the past 2 years during our annual visit to Kings Dominion. 20 inch pepperoni with extra sauce and light cheese. We give it 2 thumbs up. 3.5 stars out of 5 overall

From Kings Dominion when I looked up nearest Pizza place, this is the nearest one that showed up. The order that was supposed to take 20 minutes, took nearly 1 hour and remember this was a carry out. Then I noticed they didn’t add the toppings I had requested. Instead I was told they will give me the missed topping(Jalepenos)! The saving grace was, the Pizza was delicious, well made, melt in the mouth type.

I’m reluctant to write a review on this place because I don’t want it anymore crowded than it is. I take my family there every once in a while. The sandwiches are good, the pasta is good, and their chicken rollitini is phenomenal. Pizza is not bad but it’s not their forte. Service is always good and prices are very reasonable, if not low for what you get. It’s a great little place that stays busy with locals.

The food is always good. I usually get the Cheese Steak sandwich, I have tried the pizza and calzone and they are fine. The service is usually good, it can be a bit slow on busy nights. My only complaint is how dirty it is. I really wish someone would go over the place with some degreaser. The salt and pepper shakers were filthy and the chairs are sticky.

First time trying them andI must say it is great! Ten bucks for veal cutlet park with 4 nice cutlets. It came with a small fresh salad and delicious garlic knots. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to try them

My wife and I have eaten here about 10 times, and have never been disappointed in the food. Whether it’s a sandwich, a pasta dish, a calzone, or their outstanding cream of crab soup… you won’t go wrong. The only downsides are the ambiance(typical pizza place environment) and it’s always crowded… though that’s more a testament to how decent the food is. So, if you’re looking for a decent place to grab some good food at an affordable price, check out Brick Oven.

This place has the feel of a pizza place up North. I grew up in CT, and every town up there has a couple of these places. Very good pizza. Friendly people. Hopping on a Saturday night. I may make this a regular stop.

Filthy. Pizza with zero flavor. A northeastener’s worst nightmare nearly realized. Makes Domino’s seem almost gourmet by comparison. Run far and run fast.

Large Popcorn shimp pizza for under $ 14 can’t beat it. The burgers were decent and the curly fries are a must as a side. service was excellent and the location right off of I95 is a plus.

I’ve had the pleasure to dine here several more times and compare it to several other establishments. Still gets five stars in my book. Do not here alone however as the portions are huge. I have to split the Greek Calzone with my mother every time. Great friendly service and cheap too(family of 5 dining for less than $ 40 is very impressive)!

one of the few non chain sit down restaurants in the area. I had the garlic knots, couple slices of pizza and a stromboli. All were really good! Funniest part of the night is my friend ordered the paisano pasta and the waitress corrected his pronounciation, She said«oh you mean, Pie, Z, Awno» we were all confused after that.

Came here the night before a race this past weekend. I ordered the Popcorn Shrimp pizza. I thought the shrimp would come out as fried, but no. The pizza was a cheese pizza with little tiny plain shrimp on top. It was a good pizza. Tasty. Not OMG gourmet, but a solid good pizza that personally reminds me of pizza we use to make at home in the ‘80s. The smallest sized 14″ was under $ 14. The marinara sauce that comes with the little garlic knots is not a fair indicator of the rest of their food. Don’t bother with the sauce; no flavor. The sauce on the pizzas is WAY tastier. Super nice wait staff. I’d eat here again.

This is a regular eat-out location when I visit my parents in Ashland. As other mentioned, their portions are huge, and their servers are good, keeping all of our drinks filled and getting our food out to us quickly. The pizza was decent– good crust, good sauce. My only complaint was the sausage was sliced(which I actually prefer to nuggets) paper thin, a little skimpy. Aside from that, I think it’s an incredible value. To make it an even better value, my parents pulled out one of those coupons from the reverse side of their grocery receipt for $ 5 off of $ 20. Cha ching.
