Pretty shop and huge collection of scents. There is something for everyone. One of the best things are the extra pieces grab bag. It is discounted and a great way to try 8+ different kinds of soaps. They also carry various other bath products and household items. Locally owned and very cute without insane prices and/or an in your face ideology.(I hate that.) We talked to the owners for a few minutes when we were in and they were very friendly. I could tell they love what they do.

Tip for the Men– head straight for the shaving soap products. Their Organic Shaving Crème Soap is just awesome here. The Lemon Sage is my favorite, but I’ve had the others too and it is all good. You will, of course, need a shaving brush and one of those small mugs to get the soap all in a froth to apply to your face. And they have these items here, too. To the uninitiated: Shaving with a BRUSH is the ONLY way to go. I learned this 15 years ago when I discovered«Art of Shaving» products. I used to use this line(available at places like Nordstrom, and of course cost Nordstom prices) until I walked in Emz shop about 8 – 9 years ago on an almost annual pilgrimage to the Shakespeare Fest. Let me tell you, Emz shaving soap has that other brand beat hands down. After a good shave, your face feels super refreshed. Plus, it is far far cheaper and I’ve no doubt, way healthier. Of course, my girlfriend also loves coming in here. She loves getting all kinds of stuff for around the house and also stocks up on gifts for people. ***Bonus*** They have a really great bar of soap for your doggie that will make Rover smell terrific. We ALWAYS make sure we are stocked up on these.

Went with friends this spring. The goods are cute, but overpriced, and it’s very heavy on the food scents. Both of my attractive friends made small purchases and were offered a free bath bomb. When I went to do the same, the cashier knew I would also be expecting a special treat(the store is quite small, so you hear everything) and pointedly did not offer it. Will never go back. Addition: I felt moved to add to this after the owner’s comment — what was insulting was my treatment at the store. I was there in April and it obviously stayed with me. I would think as a business owner one would be concerned with addressing that rather than attacking the review(«I’m so sorry you had a bad experience, did you know…, please come back and try us again»). That you handmake all the products doesn’t change the fact that I had a bad experience, or that your products did not appeal to me & seemed overpriced. The one star reflects my experience. My treatment was not absent-minded nor random, but quite purposeful and insulting. He made a point of singling me out, we were the only people in the store. My friends also noticed the disparate treatment I received & commented on it after we left(and, ironically, gave me their bath bombs, since I was the only one in the group who uses them).

I found this place because I uh. Went to Shop N Kart for some rice cakes. Somehow I got sucked in to the oo! Lotions! Section. They sell Emz’s coconut vanilla lotion here. It’s thick, smells heavenly, and made my hands feel like babby. I promptly bought over a lb and wrote to Emily telling her how much I loved her product. She wrote back a lovely email and today my mother and I checked out her lovely store. We played with all the beautiful smelling(and feeling) samples and left again feeling like babby. Emily herself was there and was so nice and helpful about her products. I could have bought a million things!(In due time heh). It felt good buying products directly from the person who makes it, plus you can pronounce and understand all the ingredients. If you’re not lucky enough to be down here in Ashland, you can pick up her stuff online on the website her husband created. A lot of the scents are Oregon(and Ashland inspired) and she started her business from her home. Check them out!

I love this place everything is hand crafted and so luxurious. You can tell that the owner puts a lot of thought into the products. The scents are heavenly and have great texture. It’s hard to find natural products with this quality. I wish they had a store in Redding, CA but when I’m lucky I get to visit to try out new items. I haven’t been able to find lotion this creamy and the vanilla bean is to die for. My favorite product is the vanilla bean and coconut facial. Smells yummy and I can feel it pulling all the gunk out my face when it dries. Most lotions with fragrance irritate my sensitive skin so it’s nice to have so many options here. I’ve always been a lover of essential oils and Emz makes it that much easier. They really know how to blend different oils without them clashing together. Whoever thought lemongrass coconut could smell so good?! The nice man working the store even gave me a sample of the soap and also gave my daughter a sample of the tub fizz. Nice touch and shows their appreciation. So not only do I get great products but I also get to help support a great local business.

Emz Blendz all-natural, hand-crafted products are wonderful to use and also make great gifts. My shelf is always stocked with Face Food, vanilla lotion, and Vanilla Rose Chocolate lip bliss. Also, the hand soaps smell amazing and last forever.

I love the soap! It lathers up super fluffy, is super moisturizing, and the scents are wonderful! Just bought 2 more bars. Yay! The scent options are great, and run the gambit from floral to spicy to musky and woodsy.

I buy lots of facial moisturizers but rarely buy the same one twice. These I am ordering again: Chamomile Rose facial cream and Rose Hip and Carrot Seed age-well serum. No preservatives that I can tell, small brown bottles – last about 3 months. Great for middle-age sensitive skin. Great travel sizes. I came across the Emz skin moisturizers while staying in a B&B in Ashland

What a great soap shop! I love my bar soaps and I’m always on the lookout for the best, preferring those made with shea, cocoa butters, and/or goats milk. And it has to smell great, too. Emz Blendz soaps deliver. There were so many scents and a large inventory to choose from. I purchased several of the smallest bars as stocking stuffers for my sisters in CA(and one for me – Lemon Verbena, my favorite). I love the idea that I can share a piece of Ashland with them. It’s easy to get carried away in a shop like this. I also bought a lip balm(Oregon Mint) since it’s made with shea butter – a must for me. It feels wonderful! All products are wrapped so prettily; I would be thrilled to receive any of these as a gift. But for those locals who want to replenish their own stock and therefore aren’t concerned with the packaging, Emily offers an affordable alternative of soap ends in a bag. It’s a great way to try out a wide variety of naturally scented soap. Emz Blendz deserves five stars, two thumbs up, five flaming hearts, etc.

Gayle loves fancy soaps and as we were walking past Emz Blenz Soap Company, she was drawn in like a tractor beam. And as her husband, Resistance Was Futile! I’m only giving this place an «A-OK» mark because I found the person working here to be pleasant, yet disengaged and not all that helpful. It’s not that Gayle and I require a lot of assistance, but it’s usually a good sign when an employee shows a little enthusiasm about their product. And make no mistake, there is a wide variety of cleaning and pampering goodness here.

Great stuff! The Shampoo Moons are especially good for travelers(no more Ziplocs with 3 ounces!), and they are also sell essential oils, bard soaps, and bath foamers. All(*all*) made by the proprietress.
