Fun place to shop, but you need patience, there’s a lot to sift through. You can usually find a deal if you’re thorough. I have founds two Electra Cruisers there, in good condition, at reasonable rates. A plus might be to clean up the front, as it’s a bit overwhelming to eyeball a ride-​able bike in the disarry of bikes. Less is more type thing.

It truly is about as good as it gets. Location is very near the Bear Creek Bike trail. The selection of bikes is huge and the three we took were all in excellent shape. We needed water bottles and they «loaned» us some. Not sure they even charged for the helmets or the bike chains. Wonderful, friendly, helpful people. They’re the best.

A great way to see and get around Ashland is by bicycle.
Get N Gear is the only reasonable way you can rent a bike in Ashland.
They’re down in the Railroad District and very easy to find.
The staff are terrific– friendly, helpful and easy to work with.

A great concept, executed well. I was able to sell my used gear and evaluate the large stock of used bikes with helpful and friendly staff, and the stock is very large, especially in bicycles.
A great store, couldn’t really be improved. I was impressed.

Get n Gear is the most helpful fun used and new sporting goods store around. Doesn’t matter what you’re looking for. camping stuff, boating stuff, ice skates, you name it. I love it that they recycle and resell nearly everything under the sun. They truly care about the environment. I have been shopping, trading with this shop for more than 8 years. I love snooping around the shop on a regular basis. Every time I go in there are new and fun surprises. It’s just plain fun. I usually find what I’m after and they’ve even ordered things for me at a cheaper price than I can get elsewhere. The owner Greg, and his staff have gone out of their way for me on more than one occasion. I’m a big fan and will continue to check at Get n Gear first before going to any other sporting goods shop.

Get’n’Gear is an excellent used adventure gear store and a fantastic bike repair shop. The people who work there are always friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. They have really reasonable rates for bike repair, and they have some really quality adventure gear for a great price. I got a pair of nearly brand new Asolo hiking boots there that retail for around 250 bucks for about 50. Love this place!
