Normally I really like sonic breakfast before work on Sunday mornings. Every time I always order a burrito combo with a drink. This time I decided to get what my boyfriend usually orders to switch it up. I said «can I please get a number 14, the meat and cheese burrito». I got the burrito and it was filled with raw onion, raw jalapeños, and raw tomato. Where was the meat and cheese because there was barely any of that. The veggies are not supposed to be in a meat and cheese (obviously). It ruined my appetite. I tried picking them out but it left me with an empty burrito. I got to eat a tortilla… don’t know if I’ll be back for a while.

Note to self when you order a large milkshake drink it way to huge. It was big enough to feed a small family. But the milkshakes are worth the pain for someone who has a dairy allergy.

Service was absolutely horrible. There was 4 cars ahead of me in the drive-​thru and it took 25 minutes just to get to give the drive thru person my order. Then the crew member «Audrey»? (I think that’s what she said her name was) was very unprofessional and should never be in the drive thru again. She sounded very bored and did not speak clearly just mumbled. She sounded like she hated her job and didn’t want to be there. I work in the fast food service industry myself and this is worse than mcdonalds drive thru (and you know that’s bad). She makes me never want to come here again ½ price shakes or not.

I’d built Sonic up for my Kindergarten son by describing the shakes and slushes and how the servers come out to the cars on roller skates. When we got there (at 8:30 pm), they didn’t have skates on and when we asked about it, they explained it had been a long shift and their ankles were so tired. Wouldn’t you know it, though, not 5 minutes later, one of the guys we’d been chatting with came back out and rolled around serving folks (and delighting Dan) for the rest of the time we were there. What great customer service! We made sure to express our deepest appreciation (I’d have tipped him if I had any small bills!)

Visited today for another round of breakfast burritos with orange juice (we always ask for no ice, get more OJ and it doesn’t get watered down). The burritos were seasoned, cooked and filled well and were pretty tasty. They lost a star because I received a sausage burrito after I ordered a BEC burrito (and BEC burrito was repeated back to me, so it wasn’t an ordering error).
A well cooked sausage burrito is still better than a raw bacon burrito, but I’d really like to get what I ordered; cooked, seasoned, filled and wrapped correctly!
IMHO, another inconsistent day at this sonic! But it’s relatively inexpensive and when it’s good, it’s GOOD… so take a chance!

I felt compelled to write a review after seeing that the only review here was about a slow drive thru, with nothing about the food!
The food is pretty good. I always wanted to live near a Sonic and now that I do, I never go! I went for dinner a while ago but I remember the food being on par with Sonic food and the service being reasonable. Most recently, Ryan C. and I stopped here for breakfast and the service was pretty quick. We both got breakfast burritos; Ry got the Super Sonic with jalapeños, tots, sausage, egg & cheese while I stuck with classic bacon, egg and cheese. Ryan adored his, while I felt mine was flavorful if not a little empty. I wanted it stuffed! We got tots on the side, which slowly became tastier and tastier the more I ate. Salty and crispy, they were very much like French fry bites.
Overall, Sonic food is craveable and this place doesn’t disappoint.

Let me tell you a story! One time I went there, got in line at the drive thru (3rd) at 12:30 I finally got to the speaker box deal at 12:53 and said no I have to damned go. I would have left a while before but I could not get out. If they plan on having such shitty service they should plan on installing an escape route for people who don’t like sitting in likes for 20 minutes. They literally block you in so you have no choice but to suffer through their crappy service. Never again sonic never again.
