This Starbucks is always busy, but the staff is friendly. They are patient and always ask if I want them to leave room for cream and sugar with my iced Americano. Their cream/sugar stand never seems to have milk out, but I’m sure you could ask for it. I haven’t tried.

This is a good Starbucks because they have a Clover machine and helpful, friendly employees. It is «as good as it gets» FOR Starbucks. FORSTARBUCKS. Starbucks’ without a Clover machine are sort of useless. I love that thing. It puts them on the same level as snobby artisan places because it generates a snobby artisan cup of coffee. On top of that, you can choose one of their fancy single origin black bag coffees to put in it. For instance, I enjoy a single brew up of Casi Cielo(only available in Feb tho) or West Java or even Burundi just as much as I enjoy some Stumptown from down the street. I am also a sucker for Starbucks pastries. That lemon loaf is just ridiculous. Put it in my mouth right now. I didn’t see any transients here tonight. Even I did, I would be more likely to buy one of them a bagel or a cup of coffee than rag on them for not hiding behind a building for my own personal piece of mind.

Just stopped in for a procedure couple of pastries, ended up having the best experience I’ve ever had at a Starbucks. Thank you Shane and Nicole for your great hospitality!

Hard to rate this shop; Good service, and nice employees, but it has become a de facto shelter/hangout for the«home free» crowd. I’ve been a regular here for years, but find myself going less and less because of how its changed. Transients camped in front of the door with their dogs playing dice… tables packed with transients charging their cell phones(?) and surfing the web, and frankly, smelling like they need a shower more than they need another YouTube video. This once nice store is now as much a home free shelter as it is a coffee shop, and it’s feeling pretty run down as a result. There are better options in Ashland.

Dear Shane who works at this Starbucks, Thank you. It’s like you knew. I was the girl with the bright pink hair who had been stuck in a car driving up from California with her immediate family. My mom was making me jump through hoops with her breakfast request and you were so nice to someone who was so needy. There is an art to handling slightly hungover customers who have been pushing off passive aggressive requests for grandchildren from their mothers, and I consider you a master. One million high fives to you Shane, keep doin’ you. Sincerely, Four venti coffees, two breakfast sandwiches, and a protein box.

I got four bonus stars for my Frap today!!! Using the Fourth of July bonus stars and the $ 10 I got for loading $ 25 on my Starbucks card I have already earned 3 Free drinks!!! Now that I am in Ashland-a place that has coconut milk I am here frequently. I am still not a big coffee person– my free drinks with be the Evolution green drinks.

Not only does this Starbucks have two bathrooms, but I was surprised to not get yelled at when I slipped in without buying a drink and went to the bathroom. Many local celebrities can be seen here– actors often stop by before a performance. I was saddened by the fact that they mixed up my drink, however; I ordered a hot chai but got a hot chocolate instead. I was too afraid of the baristas to ask them to fix my order.

Great Jump Off & On Point Before Hitting I-5 SITREP When blitzen through Ashland along the Interstate, this is an excellent spot(easy to Unilocal) and come to grab a Mocha Frap, get an hour of WiFi in, and then be off again. THESETUP Located on the main drag of Ashland, right smack in the downtown district, there’s plenty of parking along the streets, close to Ashland park, and lends itself well to jumping in and out if you need to, etc. THEDRINKS Coffee and Tea. What do you expect? As mentioned, the Mocha Frap lite was great for the drive to Portland. On the way back down to Sacramento, the Trente Passionate Fruit Tea with 6 Splendas is what filled the bill for a hotter afternoon drive. THELOWDOWN Great rest spot in this location if you plan on popping in & out for an hour.

In any other city Starbucks would not be my coffee of choice, but the staff here makes this place worth going to. They always have a smile on they’re face, they remember who you are and what you like(for me they know i need soy since I’m lactose intolerant), and they know how to make good coffee. I’ve never had a bad experience in this store and I’ve been going there for 3 years now. Worth the money.

Used to go to Starbucks a lot more But the new morning food & pastry selection Is not as good as it was. I suspect that the reason they always offer to heat the food up is because that is the only way to make it taste OK. Many of my friends feel the same way. As a Starbucks Premium member I wrote to the corporate headquarters but did not receive a response.

I came here to do some work and have a coffee because they have outlets, wifi and are open late®. Bad idea! The floors inside are filled with crumbs and the tables are dirty. The way the café is set up makes the sound of the blenders echo into the seating area, not to mention any loud kids crying while their parents order. Definitely not a good environment to relax or concentrate! Clean up your store, Starbucks!

This is actually a pretty good starbucks. Ignore the review about the neighborhood, it’s Kensington and it’s not like you’re going to get accosted by a gang here or something. The seating is what makes this Starbucks stand out, huge seating area both inside and out side give you unlimited places to sit down. Also, extremely gay friendly, if that’s your thing.

I have been to many Starbucks and have visited this location several times, and while the experience at any location is pretty consistent, I would rate this store as above average. While it can get busy, the staff is always cheerful. It is also nice to sit by the fire, if you can grab a seat.

Starbucks cappuccino is as expected. However, they asked me if I wanted a wet or dry one. Requested a dry one. Came back with the wettest dry cappuccino ever. The one thing Starbucks has going is their iPhone app. Love the app, coffee so-so.

Would get 4.25 stars, but that’s not an option. I simply adore the little nook this place has with the fireplace. They have wifi, newspapers to read, and it’s always warm and comfortable on a wet, cold day. Which let’s face it is nearly everyday between the months of Oct-April

What can you say? It’s Starbucks. You know exactly what to expect, and you’re never disappointed. Yeah, yeah, I know: Corporate Borg. Well, corporate schmorporate. You want to know what I like best about Starbucks? They only serve 100% Free Trade Market coffees. Not just one or two of their select coffees, but all of the coffee they sell. Call me a bleeding heart, but I kind of like knowing the coffee I’m sipping wasn’t picked by some 6 year old working 12 hours a day in the fields. That, and they let me use their phone once when I locked myself out of my apartment … ;-)

In a town that has some great independent coffee establishments(e.g., Key of C, Evo’s Java House, Rogue Valley Roasting, and the soon to be open Noble on 4th Street), there’s not many good reasons to come to Starbucks. One might be a pit stop and the other is the outdoor deck on a nice evening and just before you’re about to go to the theatre. Otherwise, it’s a Starbucks like any other.

Okay, so I am not a fan of Starbuck’s but if you read my other Starbuck’s reviews, you know that I use them primarily as my bathroom safe haven on road trips. Yesterday, we left the Portland area with daughter, dog, bf and his 83 y.o. pocket sized Grammie for the long trip home. We stopped in Cottage Grove for lunch and by the time we were nearing Ashland, I was in need of a potty break and some iced tea(the only thing this place is truly good for). Anyway, this location is great. It has a large deck and feels like a regular old place-not like the corporate stiff Starbuck’s I have seen elsewhere. I didn’t know it, but the Grammie had been to this location a few times as she spends quite a bit of time with one of her daughters’ who lives in Medford. When we ordered the iced tea, the guy and the gal behind the counter were beaming at her and then it dawned on her that she must have been there before. Needless to say, the«quick stop» took a bit longer as she was trying to recollect how she knew them. Regardless, the tea was refreshing and the service was great and the bathroom was the cleanest of them all.

Don’t do it. Don’t go here. I know it’s close to the theatre, but if you would just walk one block down the street you can go to the Key of C and have good coffee and amazing bagels! Or! You could walk about 5 blocks the other way and have good coffee at Evo’s! Both are good local places! Don’t go to Starbucks! Just don’t!
