Food was excellent. Loved the pretzel and burger. Atmosphere was more of a bar with upscale food rather than traditional restaurant. The guy behind the bar needed help. I had to go to the bar and order. He was running food by himself and the bar. He even had to run food to the rooms. People walked out bc they couldn’t get service. My burger was great but I asked for no mayo. I was told the condiments come in the side. They didn’t. Also the pretzel appetizer came out with the meal. Good part was he was apologetic and took that off the bill. Great food but they need more customer service help and knowledge of how the food comes out. Not bad for about $ 20 bucks though.

Literally one of my top 5 favorite bars… in the world! I’ve been coming to Aspen for 11 years now and I go at least once each trip. It’s about time I wrote a review. I always go for apres. Great combination of seating, scene, and music. They either play big sports games or ski videos on the TVs, which we love. The drinks are well made and the food is great. If you’re snacking, go with the loaded fries and the wings. If you’re in for a sandwich, the short rib grilled cheese and the chicken sandwich. The servers are all great and are doing a fantastic job of taking care of us during our extended stay this year. A must go for apres no matter how long you’re in town.

Great place that is quite popular in the winter for apres as well as in the summer for lounging around the pool area. Hip place with lots of people most of the time and a good party atmosphere. Good location at the base of Ajax. The drinks are great and the service is quite good as well.

Kind of hard to find since it was in the hotel. Had the cubano with fries. Kind of a cheaply made cubano– it was in a sesame seed bun, had pickle chips not long pickle slices, pork wasn’t seasoned and ham tasted like Oscar Meyer. For the price it was a very cheap sandwich. The waitress charged us incorrectly and forgot what we ordered when she asked us how it tasted. Meh. Maybe worth the drinks and giant chairs with a lounge feel but not food or service.

39 Degrees is a super cool place to get a drink in the summer because you can hang out by the pool if you order a drink! It’s so nice to relax with your feet in the pool or to hang out in the hot tub with a drink. The drinks are reasonably priced and strong, and people are fairly social if you come alone. Most of the people hanging out at 39 Degrees don’t seem to be staying at the hotel. Caveat: Must supply your own towel!

This place is always packed & for good reason: great ambiance, décor and some of THE best cocktails in Aspen. Coming from San Francisco, we have high expectations, and 39 Degrees did not disappoint. We had the Pear Fizz & El Diablo, and loved both. I think the prices are worth it, as other cocktail lounges in the area for the same price were either less than creative, or watered down. Nice job guys! We will be back, hopefully in the summer when we can enjoy that kick-ass patio.

This is one of my favorite bars in Aspen. Every time I’m in Aspen I end up here. In the winter I love to sit with a beer or glass of wine by the large fireplace and in the summer it’s outside by the fire pits. This time I stayed at the Sky hotel for that very reason. I love the 39 Degrees — it’s fun and a hip place. This weekend it was packed for an event and a little too many people for my taste. I had a Travel Zoo deal for 2 appetizers and two drinks. We ordered the ahi tuna tacos and a burger. I’m not a huge raw sushi fan but my husband enjoyed them and the burger was good. However the food highlight was having breakfast upstairs above the lounge. They open this beautiful room in the winter for breakfast under the 39 Degree name. I ordered the Southwest style Benedict complete with shredded pork and green chili and hollandaise sauce– it was an interesting combination and I enjoyed every bite. My husband had the southwest style omelet and my one taste was delicious. After our experience I would say you can’t wrong with ordering anything off this menu. I bet everything is delicious. I would definitely come back. You get a great view of the slopes while enjoying your coffee and breakfast. The part of The Sky Hotel is the pool, outside fire pits, the lobby and the 39 Degrees Lounge.

Have dined here several times for lunch and a couple times for early dinner. The bahn mi sandwich is AWESOME. The shrimp wrap is very good. Friends swear by the lobster BLT. Love the east meets west menu. It’s fun to have a vibrant, energetic pool club scene right in downtown Aspen.

Went here for happy hour. So many people in the pool and at the lounge, DJ rocking it. Had an appetizer, Korean chicken wings, delicious! A little sweet and spicy! Hit the spot.

An absolute must when your in Aspen. The pool scene is the place to be in the summer for a people watching, delicious cocktails and always a great DJ the owning down some great tracks. The bar itself is über mod, a bit small on the inside but in a good night the place will be packed from wall to wall and flooding out into the lobby of the hotel. Slope side après ski in the winter is also a great time.

So apparently 39 Degrees is the«it-spot» for apres ski in Aspen. Came here with friends after a day of boarding and it was super packed! I felt like I was in a club because of the music, which was pretty cool. We hoped that there would be a happy hour, but unfortunately no. We still had a good time– was able to take our drinks outside and enjoy some good food as well. Loved the smores dessert in the mason jar! Delicious and cute. If you’re looking for a place to party or meet people, this would be the place.

Way fun place to go from 3−7pm when they have a dj and the party gets started! It is a swanky scene and probably better to go if your in your 20−40s. Food is surprisingly amazing and the menu is much larger than most bar menus. You can sit inside if you want to avoid the«party» or choose to dance in the tent! What a fun new addition to aspen. For food, you have to try the tuna tacos– amazing if you like raw fish. The chicken wings were good too. Staff is all super friendly but be patient when it gets crazy busy. Love it!

best apres ski in aspen, good crowd and good atmosphere. Not too crowded with the extra space w/the veuve cliquot space with a DJ spinning. their pretzel is uniquely delicious — the best apres ski snack.

So 39 Degrees I’m pretty sure you’ll be an Aspen staple when I visit. Came here with a friend who lives in town right at the start of off season and were friendly greeted by the bartender who was very friendly. We made conversation and she told us the skinny of the bars off season plans. Now the drinks. I had a martini, yum! Strong and after 2 I felt pretty good. My friend had a fun concoction made with champagne, delicious! I know it gets busy in the winter and summer, but I’ll defiantly try to head back to 39 Degrees when I’m back in town.

When I saw there was a Kimpton hotel in Aspen, I knew we had to stop by and check out the bar. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and sat inside overlooking the pool… great cocktails and great people watching!

Staying at the hotel so convenient food by the pool. Surprisingly creative and delicious! Colorado cheese plate: blue cheese, hard(goat?) cheese, soft Brie cheese with fig spread and crostini. Although our server Andy thought this was a «girl’s choice,» both my husband and I enjoyed it immensely. Tasty. Good variety. Nice presentation. Kale Salad: one of the best I’ve ever had! Thinly sliced kale, lightly dressed, with goat cheese, toasted pine nuts and dried berries. Served over sliced golden beets. Ahi Tuna Tartare Tacos: in crispy won tons with cilantro, lime, cabbage and sticky rice, over avocado purée and sweet soy sauce reduction. Highly recommended however I would lose the sticky rice. Hoisin Chicken Lettuce Wraps: messy, fun and fresh! Marinated ground chicken served with carrot strips, bean sprouts, cabbage, pad Thai style noodles, ginger soy sauce and lettuce leaves to wrap in. No guilt here! Service: friendly and down-to-earth. Atmosphere: hard-to-beat.

Went on weeknight and was still a rather lively place. Relaxing in one of the comfy sofa seats after a hard day of riding.

One of my favorite lounges and apres ski bars in the world. A few years back my friends and I stayed at the Sky Hotel and literally skied down to enjoy apres ski at the pool area. There was a dj and drinks were flowing and thanks to the somewhat warm weather folks were swimming in the pool. 80’s wear was a must and unfortunately we didn’t get the memo but we still had the best time. Fast forward a few years and this time we enjoyed a few cocktails and bites late night. The ahi tuna tacos were a big hit and the cocktails nice and strong as I remembered them. This is a must stop if you are visiting Aspen.
